DISMANTLING AND DEMOLISHING WORKS

Demolishing cement concrete manually / by mechanical means including disposal of material within 100 meters lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge - Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or linear mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 100 meters lead, above plinth level upto floor five level - For thickness of tiles 10mm to 25mm.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground with in 100 meters lead.

Taking out doors, windows and clear story windows frame & shutters (steel or wood) including stacking within 100 meters lead - of area 3 sq.m. and below

WATER PROOFING WORKS

12mm thick cement plaster on floor / wall with a floating coat of neat cement of mix - 1:4 (1 cememt : 4 fine sand) including necessary curing etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bath roomsetc., by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying (a). First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqmmixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b). Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. (The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masnory with polymer mixed slurry).

Providing and laying water proofing treatment on roofs of slabs by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying - (a). After surface preparation, first layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/sqm. (b). Laying second layer of Fibre glass cloth when the first layer is still green. Overlaps of joints of fibre cloth should not be less than 10cm. (c). third layer of 1.5mm thickness consisting of slurry of cement @ 1.289 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.670 kg/sqm and coarse sand @ 1.289 kg/sqm. This will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed by water curing for 48 hours. The entire treatment will be taken upto 30cm on parapet wall and tucked into groove in parapet all around, (For the purpose of measurement the entire treated surface will be measured).

CONCRETE WORK

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level - 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand / M-sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) including necessary curing etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

STEEL WORK

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

FLOORING

Providing and laying Ceramic glazed floor tiles of size 300 x 300mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of 1st quality conforming to IS : 15622 of approved make in colours such as white, Ivory, grey. Fume red brown, laid in 20mm thick cement mortor 1:4 (1cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigment etc., complete.

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS:15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle breen, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-charge, inskirting, riser of steps and daddos, over 12mm thick bed of cement mortor 1:3 (1cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

FINISHING

Providing and fixing factory made UPVC door frame made of UPVC extruded section having an overall dimensions as below ( tolerance ± 1mm ), with wall thickness 2.0mm (± 0.2mm), corners of the door frame to be joined with galvanized brackets and stainless stell screws, joints mitred and plastic welded.The hinged side vertical of the frames reinforced by galvanized M.S. tube of size 19x19 mm and 1mm (± 0.1mm) wall thickness and 3 nos. Stainless steel hinged fixed to the frame complete as per manufacturers Specification and direction of engineering -in-change - Extruded section profile size 48x40mm

Providing and fixing to existing door frames - 24 mm thick factory made PVC door shutters made of styles and rails of a UPVC hollow section of size 59x24 mm and wall thickness 2 mm (± 0.2mm) with in built edging on both sides. The styles and rails mitred and joint at the corners by means of M.S. galvanized / plastic brackets of size 75x220 mm having wall thickness 1.0 mm and stainless steel screws. The styles of tha shutter reinforced by inserting galvanized M.S. tube of size 20x20 mm and 1mm (± 0.1mm) wall thickness. The lock rail made up of " H" section, a UPVC hollow section of size 100x24 mm and 2mm (± 0.2mm) wall thickness, fixed to the shutters styles by means of plastic/ galvanized M.S.'U' cleats. The shutter frame filled with a UPVC multi chambered single panel of size not less than 620mm, having over all thickness of 20mm and 1mm (± 0.1mm) wall thickness. The panes filled vertically and tie bar at two places by inserting horizontally 6mm galvanized M.S. rod and fastened with nuts and washers, complete and cost including all fixtures like SS Hinges, Tower bolt, handles aldrop etc. as per manufacturer's specification and direction of Engineer- in - charge. (for W,C and bath room door shutter).

Providing and fixing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters, aprtitions and showcases with EDPM rubber / neoprene gaskets etc. complete as per the architectural drawing and the directions of Engineer-in-chargev- with float glass panes of 4.0mm thickness (weight not less than 10 kg/ sqm).

Providing and fixing fly proof stainless steel grade 304 wire gauge, to existing windows and clearstory windows using wire gauge with average width of aperature 1.4mm in both directions with wire of dia 0.50mm, including necessary aluminium frames, rubber beadings, screws, handles, locking arragements, hinges etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing fly proof stainless steel grade 304 wire gauge to the xisting aluminium farmes, to existing windows and clearstory windows using wire gauge with average width of aperature 1.4mm in both directions with wire of dia 0.50mm, excluding aluminium frames but including rubber beadings, screws, handles, locking arragements, hinges and making working condition etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply of skilled carpenter / Aluminium Fabricator / Fitter for minor maintenance works etc as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Cost including labours, necessary tools & plants whatever required.

PLASTERING

Wall plastering of 12mm cement plaster of mix 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) including necessary scaffolding,curing etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Ceiling / Wall painting with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade - One or more coats on old work including necessary scrapping,cleaning the surface etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade - One or more coats on old work including necessary scrapping,cleaning the surface etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface - Water thinnable cement primer

SANITARY INSTALLATIONS

Providing and fixing white vitrious china pedestal type water closet (European type WC Pan) with seat lid, 10 litre low level white P.V.C. flushing cistern, including flush pipe, with manually controlled device (handle over), conforming to IS : 7231, with all fittings and fixtures complete, including cutting and making good the walls and floors wherever required - W.C.pan with ISI marked black solid plastic seat and lid.

Providing and fixing wash basin with C.I.brackets, 15mm C.P.brass pillar taps, 32mm C.P.brass waste of standard pattern, including painting of fittings and brackets, cutting and making good the walls wherever require - White vitreous china wash basin size 550x400mm with a single 15mm C.P.brass pillar taps.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level - Thermo - Mechanically- Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Half brick masnory with common burnt clay F.P.S (non modular) bricks of class designation 5.0 in foundation and plinth in - cement mortor 1:4 (1cement : 4 coarse sand / M-sand) including necessary curing etc complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
