Tower Foundation, Erection, Conductor Stringing etc.
Detailed surveying of the route along the alignment fixed by the Board, preparation of the longitudinal profiles of the route showing all site details of the terrain for the14.1 km full width of the line route, plotting of tower locations with details of types and extensions to towers, preparation of tower schedule, identifying the base area available at each locations for erection of towers, calculations involving sag and tension of conductors, preparation and supply of one copy of CD ROM in Auto CAD format the approved sag template on transparent acrylic plastic sheet. Supply after completion of all the stub setting works, five paper print copies of the approved profiles drawing and route map with the final tower locations marked .
Design of shallow/ pile foundation for all types of soil for narrow base towers in all locations including extensions
Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation,grass,brush wood,trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area covered.
Conducting standard penetration test at site after reaching the required depth of boring by DMC method
Construction of Earthern ring bunds for bailing out water for excavation for foundation and stub setting including bailing out, shoring if necessary with plaited coconut cadjan and bamboos etc.. as per dimensions noted below.- Bunds beyond 0.50 m height to 1m height. 1.50 bottom width and 0.50 m top width
Providing temporary earthern ring bund using mud filled bags around the well foundation at tower locations in mud area including cost of gunny/ empty cement bags, excavting mud and filling wih the same, tying and placing in proper postions to make ring bud including necessary bailing out water, etc. compete.
