REPAIR RE-SURFACING OF INTERNAL AND APPROACH ROADS INCLUDING ROAD MARKING AT JETTIES AREA AND OTHER LOCATION AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE (I) (DM) VISAKHAPATNAM

Material & labour for repairs to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud , or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads ,paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5kg per 10Sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10Sqm, blinded with 0.09Cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of pre mixed macadam, binder and chipping) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm rolled and compacted using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for premix bituminous macadam using bitumen VG 30, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consolidated thickness 75mm or less using mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG 30 at 5 Kg. Per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for bituminous premix Semi dense Asphaltic concrete 30 mm average consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder ( using VG 30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Cat Eye road reflectors studs of self illuminating flashing type having directional both side reflectors strip,made of plastic housing ,having in addition to LEDS. Cat Eye road reflectors studs shall be water proof IP 65 as per IS 12063-1987 category 2 size of Cat Eye road reflectors studs 100X100X20mm including taking down old unserviceable one with complete all as specified and as directed. Material & labour for safety line painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc.on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for hot applied thermo setting road marking paint 2mm thick in shapes/signs as required exceeding 10cm to 50cm width (Including Zebra crossing & speed breaker marking), white or golden yellow in colour including preparation of exciting surfaces and glass beads retro reflective type as per ASTM standards complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for removing the old / worn out / deteriorated thermosetting paint of 4mm to 8mm thick or any other description completely, also taking out the debris collected while preparing dockyard premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: The entire shall be done by making proper grid of 2mX2m and maintaining proper gradient as directed by Engineer-In-Charge
