Manning, operation and routine maintenance of substation at Naval Air Enclave Nedumbassery by keeping the substation functional round the clock including all Sundays and holidays, so that electric supply can be given to the user without any interruption and maintaining all HT/LT switchgears and transformer and any fault occurs in the system like disconnection/ tripping of RMU, HT/LT switchgears, AMF, APFC panel, starters, adjusting the tap of transformers, monitoring and maintaining the power factor above the specified limit round the clock and attending any type of fault or breakdown in the station and operation & routine maintenance of DG set of Capacity 62.5 KVA, operation and maintenance of water supply pump sets, fire fighting pump sets etc, at Naval Enclave Nedumbassery and also cleaning of substation and surroundings, including maintaining complaint, shut down and any other register as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge at any time.

Notes: (i) The electrician should have good knowledge to work with HT/LT line and the fault/ breakdown if occurs shall be attended immediately. (ii) Contractor has to ensure minimum One highly skilled Electrician (ITI/Diploma holder) per shift @ 8hours (Three shifts per day). If not, Penalty / Recovery as per relevant PS clause shall be imposed. Any other man power of helper shall be provided by the contractor as per site requirement. Rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.The person deployed in the shift will not leave the duty station until the reliever takeover the complete installation for operation. (iii) It is the responsibility of the contractor to collect and carry fuel from the store yard of AGE B/R Alwaye of GE (NS) Kochi, to Naval Air Enclave, Nedumbassery for running the DG set and the cost for which is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (iv) The fuel in the DG set has to be checked periodically and top up whenever necessary to ensure the readiness of DG set at any time. (v) All petty items such as insulation tape, cotton waste, grease, distilled water, coolant, etc. required for routine/ periodical maintenance and repairs and the rate for which is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vi) All required tools such as cutting pliers, spanner set, screw drivers, line tester, hand gloves, multi meter, HT/LT insulation tester, earth tester, crimping tools, first aid kit, etc., has to be provided b y the contractor and the expenditure for these items is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

GST LIABILITY It is considered prudent to specify that the GST is included in the rates quoted against items of outsourcing as well as items of repairs/comprehensive maintenance to be paid separately under material and labour’ parts. MONTHLY WAGES Monthly wages shall be paid by the contractor to the workers/labour only online. Proof of statutory deductions in favour of workers/labour shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer in Charge along with RAR/Final Bill for verification. The contractor will be required to submit copy of valid labour licence from the Labour Commissioner within 15 days of commencement of the work BASIC RATE, EPF, ESIC, BONUS, OVER HEAD PROFIT, TAXES & LWC The bidder to quote basic rate, employer's contribution towards Employees Provident Fund (EPF) liability, contribution towards Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), contribution towards bonus, overhead and profit and labour welfare cess (LWC) separately, as applicable depending upon the manpower requirement. This will create onus on the contractor to ascertain the relevant rates and quote accordingly. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, cess, and levies as applicable including GST as prevailing applicable law. Contractor shall be note liable for the same.
