Repairs/maintenance to Transformers, connected works and Repairs to ceiling fan, geysers, certain misc works at Mily Station Kannur under AGE (I) CANNANORE.

Amount

Taking down carefully existing 11KV/433 V distribution transformer of capacity upto and including 100 KVA by disconnecting HT overhead connection/underground cables and earth strips etc. from any substation / locations using crane of suitable capacity or by any other method irrespective of type of approach available, loading in vehicle, transportation to workshop for repairs and unloading carefully. Transpoting the tranformer to subsation after repairs, placing at given position, connection of HT overhead line/underground cables and earth strips etc. testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No 1 here in before but transformer of capacity above 100KVA to 250KVA all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note for item 1&2 : All T&P required for loading, unloading and transportation including necessary items like bolts, nuts etc shall be arranged by the contractor and rates for the same deem to be included in the quoted rates .

M&L for opening the transformer cover along with the conservator by removing the nuts, bolts, after removing the internal H.T & L.T connections by taking them out by removing studs, bushings, taking out the core-winding assembly out of the tank, removing out burnt HV and LV windings from the core assembly, cleaning of core assembly with CTC including necessary repairs for the unserviceable transformers having ratio 11 / 0.433 KV, draining & decanting of burnt transformer oil and cleaning of sludge deposited in the tank with CTC for the transformers. Rewinding of HV and LV coils with suitable size super enamelled copper wire/ strip (As Existing) having suitable class insulation material. Heating of core winding assembly in hot chamber for 48 hours and removing all the moisture present in it, removal of leakage of tank if any by welding, refilling transformer oil to tank, after putting the core-winding assembly into the tank, reassembling making the internal H.T & L.T connections by fixing the studs, bushing, fitting the top cover by replacing cork sheet gasket along with conservator, testing the transformer in the workshop duly filled with oil, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for 100KVA capacity transformer.

All as per item No 3 here in before but transformer of capacity above 100KVA to 250KVA all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note for item 3&4 : Unserviceable items required for repairs of transformer shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. Transformer oil with die electric strength not less than 45 KV either new or filtered shall be filled and shall be measured and paid seperately under respective item.

S&F in replacement of LT bushings 433V of suitable size for outdoor/ indoor type transformer of the capacity 100KVA all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of LT bushings 433V of suitable size for outdoor/ indoor type transformer of the capacity above 100KVA to 250KVA all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in replacement of brass stud (for HT 11KV side) of suitable size complete with one check nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal, all as per sample for outdoor/indoor type transformer of the capacity 100 KVA all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in replacement of brass stud (for HT 11KV side) of suitable size complete with one check nut, two nuts, washers and rubber seal, all as per sample for outdoor/indoor type transformer of the capacity above 100KVA to 250KVA all as specified and directed.

M&L for dehydration including filteration of transformer oil by dehydration and filteration plant including testing before and after dehydration and filteration complete of transformer capacity upto 250KVA all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The dielectric strength to be achieved 40 KV at 2.5 mm gap after completion of dehydration and filteration. (ii) Dehydration of transformer oil in the transformer carried out on the site by dehydration machine and the amount quoted is deemed to be inclusive.

Supply and filling of new transformer power oil of BDV not less than 50 KV for topping up of reduced level of Distribution transformer complete including removing of old unserviceable transformer oil all as specified and directed. Make : power oil/castrol/pure lubes.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces and cooling coils/ fins of transformers upto 250KVA capacities by removing oil marks using chemical or hot blow lamp, Spray painting to prepared surfaces using synthetic enamel paint of superior quality of colour as approved by AGE (I) as per standard engineering practice with two coats, writing SM No, MES No, Make and capacity with white paint having height of each letter not less than 2.5cm and width not less than 1cm all as required and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and filling up in replacement silica gel superior quality to transformer breather assy all as required and diercted.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for foundation for erection of poles, stays, laying cables, stays etc and getting out in hard / dense soil all as specified and directed.

Returning and filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with soil obtained from excavation all as directed

Removing excavated materials (soil) to a distance n exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level 1.5m above starting point all as specified and directed.

Supply and spreading in natuaral riddled soil as earth cushioning to cable by using IS sieve to separate the composite particle/roots etc and refilling in trenches and compacted in layers to form a solid bed covering to cable all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat unreinforced of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm for protecton of cable abutting each laid dry flat width equal to the lenth of cable cover etc complete all as spd and directed.

M&L for GI tubing, 100mm bore light grade, galvanized, with all fittings required such as bends, Tees, elbows, sockets, fixing clamps etc for protection of cable/GI strip fixing on ploe, wall etc including removing old unserviceable pipe any size all as directed.

M&L for GI tubing, 150mm bore light grade, galvanized, with all fittings required such as bends, Tees, elbows, sockets, fixing clamps etc for protection of cable/GI strip fixing on ploe, wall etc including removing old unserviceable pipe any size all as directed.

Material and labour for detection of any type of fault in HT underground cable of any size and core laid in trenches with the help of HT Meggar, Seggregation of faulty span by meggering and making serviceable by repair or replacement of cable and testing complete all as directed. Note : (i) Earth work and excavation will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Lenght of cable used for replacement will be measured and paid saperately. (iii) Contractor will engage an electrician and helper to attendent daily from the date of commencement of work till completion of the work in the office of Engr-in-charge to attend the fault related complaints as directed by Engr-in-charge. The cost of labour shall deemed to be included in the item.

Material and labour for detection of any type of fault on HT 2/4 pole structure and reapir/ replacement of blown out HT fuses and restore the HT supply of feeder all as directed. Note : (i) Contractor will engage an electrician and helper to attendent daily from the date of commencement of work till completion of the work in the office of Engr-in-charge to attend the fault related complaints as directed by Engr-in-charge. The cost of labour shall deemed to be included in the iquoted rate. (ii) Cost of material reqd for repair will be included in quoted rate. (iii) Proper shut down shall be taken from MES auth before any HT repair wk. (iv) All safety measure will be the resposibility of contractor.

Material and labour for detection of any type of fault in HT underground cable laid in trenches with the help of Cable fault locator machine brought by the cable fault detection agencies, Span of faulty cable will be trace out by the agencies by meggering HT cable. Seggregation of faulty span by meggering and making serviceable by repair or replacement of cable, testing and complete all as directed. Note : (i) Earth work and excavation will be measured and paid seperately. (ii) Lenght of cable used for replacement will be measured and paid saperately. (iii) Contractor will engage an electrician and helper to attendent daily from the date of commencement of work till completion of the work in the office of Engr-in-charge to attend the fault related complaints as directed by Engr-in-charge. The cost of labour shall deemed to be included in the item.

Taking out old unserviceable HT UG cable, Supply and lay including fixing and connecting electrically XLPE insulated HT underground cable 3core 120sqmm, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminum conductor multi-stranded 11KV grade, laid in trench, fixed on wall/pole drawn through pipe etc including provision of lugs & testing of following sizes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Structural steel work in replacement of existing unserviceable Cross arms bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from steel sections including nuts,bolts ,washers,welding ,bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed inclusive one coat of primercoat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs cable jointing kit for 11KV grade cable for Outdoor termination, heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured Aluminium conductor cable of size 50 to 95 sqmm jointing and testing all as specified and directed. .

S & F in replacement of Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour including fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20cm size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S & F in replacement of Anti-climbing device; spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars (round,square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Painting of HT concrete 2/4 pole of complete length, after preparing pole surfaces by scraping / brushing and by applying one coat of white cement based paint, applying a coat of white synthetic enamel painting to pole upto 1.5 mtr from ground level, painted by alternate layer of black and Yellow enamel paint (30 cms apart) and applying two coat of aluminium painting on Cross arm and bracing, nut, bolts and washers etc after prep of surfaces all as directed by Engr in charge. Note - one 2/4 pole structure measured as one job inclusive of HT poles and cross arms complete.

M & L for dismantling of old air break gang operated switches vertical mounted including insulators and operating mechanism complete all as sopecified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L in replaceement switch Air break gang operated triple pole (horimounted on porcelain insulators 15 Nos 11 KV 400 Amps DO fuse set with AB switch porcelain and steel frame with operating mechanism with 20 mm dia GI pipe (Medium grade) operate from ground level complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement for Stay assembly with loop type insulator, vitreous porcelain, large size, 90 x 140mm, clearance of hole 25.5 mm complete with accessories as shown in Electrical Plate No 1 of SSR Part-I consisting of stay rod 20 mm dia, stay plate 300 x 300 x 6 mm thick and GI stay strand 7/4mm including necessary fixing clamps, nuts, bolts, etc; complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement of off load tap changer suitable for existing distribution transformer of any make ad capacity upto 250 KVA all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
