| 2.00 | Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of 11 KV, 630A, STC 25KA for 1sec, SF6 insulated, Manual, Outdoor, Non-extensible RMU , type tested in line with latest IEC standards. The RMU shall be suitable for operations at a height up to 1000 meters above sea level and at 40 degree ambient temperature without any derating. The switchgear and busbar shall all be contained in a stainless steel enclosure filled with SF6 at 0.3 bar (300 hPa) relative pressure. The RMU tank shall provide full insulation, making the switchgear insensitive to the environment with degrees of protection of IP67 . The switchgear operating mechanism shall have an IP2X protection and cable chamber shall have IP3X. Accidental overpressure due to an internal arc is limited by the opening of the safety valve, at the bottom of the metal enclosure, away from the operator. An operator situated in front, lateral (A-FLR 21kA – 1sec, downwards exhaust, for tank as well as cable compartment) of the RMU switchboard during an internal fault will not be exposed to the effects of arcing. | 2.01Each of the above Ring Main Unit shall comprise of the followings: A) Load Break Switch (LBS) each comprising of the following: i) 11 KV, 630A, STC 25KA for 1sec Manual Load break switch; with built in line side manual earth switch. Earthing should be completed within 2 operations only (i.e 1. Main switch - OFF, 2. Earth switch - ON). LBS shall have 3 positions, open or disconnected, closed and earthed, and will be constructed in such a way that interlocking prevents unauthorized operations. For earth switch, manual opening and closing will be driven by a fast-acting /snap action mechanism, independent of operator action. LBS and earth switch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations , and 5 nos closing operations at rated SC current. LBS should have 100 electrical operations at rated current. ii) Position indicator through clear front mimic in line with IEC 62271-103. iii) Live cable indicator with indications (Voltage Presence Indicator) at the front and three inlets provision to check the synchronization of phases. An independent mechanism shall be fitted for the 3 positions earthing switch and disconnector. Circit breaker shall have a min of 2000 mechanical and 2000 electrical operations at rated current and 40 nos of operations at rated short circuit current. Disconnector and earthswitch shall have a min of 1000 (M1) mechanical operations. M & L cable route indicator made out of 2mm thick mild steel of size 20 cm x15 cm duly coated with two coats of black paint over a coat of red oxide primer duly written the size of HTcable in white paint and welded to equal angle of size 30 mm X 30 mm X 3 mm , 45cm long and erected in ground in such a way that it is 15cm above ground level and 30Cm below ground level . M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick electrode and 32 mm x 6 mm GI strip as earthing lead buried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground connected to GI strip earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check , nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate no. 3 including 40 mm dia medium grade GI protection pipe, 20 mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe, funnel, wire mesh , charcoal dust, PCC pit and 50mm thick RCC cover, earth work in any type of soil connected to earthing test point complete all as specified and as directed.
