Valve Initial leak testing, valve dismantling, disc & seat lapping, blue-matching, gland packing and bonnet gasket replacement, Valve re-assembly, manual actuator servicing, final leak testing etc for following sizes & class of valves: (03 Nos. of 16” NB, 01 No. 18” NB, 09 Nos. of 30” & 04 Nos. of 36” NB size valves (Total 17 Nos.) are to be maintained in situ).
Cleaning of valve external surface after erection, supply & application of one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer and two coats of Heat Resistant Aluminum paint to achieve 90 micron Dry Film Thickness for following sizes & class of valves:
Repair of valve flange face or Body-bonnet joint (T&G face) by weld deposition, DP testing, Machining/Grinding and lapping etc of following sizes & class (unit is nos. of flange faces):
Removal of screwed seat rings, repair of damaged threads and re-fixing of repaired/new seat ring of following sizes & class (Removal of seat ring involved 3-4 cycles of heating and cooling and heavy torquing) (unit is nos. of seat rings):
Straightening of valve spindle (AISI 329) to an accuracy of 0.002 mm in diameter & 0.005 mm over the entire length or rectification of scratches by high chrome high nickel deposition using Xuper 680 CGS of L&T, TAFA or equivalent (30 Cr, 18-20 Ni) for following sizes & class:
Local Repair of discs having minor cracks by grinding, DP test, stelliting, grinding and re-lapping for following sizes of valves (unit is nos. of discs):
