Disconnecting of HT & DC connections from existing busbar, disconnecting trolley including servicing of complete parts of VCB 11 KV any type any make at site, cleaning with carbon tetra chloride, lubrication of mechanical parts, adjustment and calibration of complete relays etc including checking parts, repair to control wiring with single core conductor of existing size as required at site for VCB of any type, any make for satisfactory running including taking down/out of defective spare parts/items and applying one coat of 11 KV insulation paint on busbar, spouts and other connected parts, re-assembling the same, re-connecting all HT & AC / DC connections to make it functional including testing on existing load complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) Taking down of old defective spare parts is deemed to be included in quoted rates and Supply and fixing for of new spare parts shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Parts replaced shall be identical to those specified by original manufacturer as existing at site. (iii) Parts of minor nature such as nuts, bolts, screws & washers required at site are deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iv) Servicing of complete parts shall be carried out through OEM/authorized rep of OEM. (v) A Board of Officers shall be appointed by the Accepting Officer for ascertaining the repair work required in VCB and all inventory shall be prepared in presence of Engineer-in-charge & Contractor.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth for foundation etc or for walls, shafts, manholes not exceeding 10 sqm on plan or for laying pipes/cables etc and getting out, in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Notes for item 54.00 & 55.00 :- (i) Any variation in length of earth lead and protection pipe of earth lead shall be adjusted through DO. (ii) On testing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, earthing will be generated at No extra cost , till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (iii) The chamber shall be constructed atleast 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode.

Taking out of burnt HT/ LT primary/ secondary winding from the unserviceable transformer of any capacity, cleaning all the limbs, rewinding with super enamelled wire of same weight, gauge etc of HT/ LT winding with suitable gauge by calculating number of turns as per voltage of transformer of voltage stablizer, varnishing and drying by vaccum impregnating, replacing insulating materials, nuts, bolts etc including testing as per latest IS/BIS complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) Winding of transformer should be connected with tap changer after completion of winding work. (ii) Transformer shall be tested in front of rep of GE & test results shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge. (iii) The quantity of winding shall be assesed by BOO.

Dehydration & filteration of transformer oil by using dehyderation & filteration plant, heating & filteration of oil to be carried out till the de-electric strength reaches not less than 45 KV withstand for one minute is achieved for any capacity of transformer including testing of strength incluidng filling of dehydrated & filltered transformer oil complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Oil Test value record register shall be prepared in presence of AGE/JE and handed over the register to sub divn on completion of work. (ii) The contractor is required to submit the di-electric repot after dehydration and filtration of each transformer before claiming payment.

Opening of all electrical connections HT/ LT from the bushing/ terminal box of the unserviceable distribution transformer, indoor/ outdoor type from existing position/ location, of any make & specifications, of capacity upto 315 KVA & transporting the transformer to authorized dealer workshop for repairs with opening of top cover including conservator, dehyderating breather and allied items, inspecting the same to assess the repairs required, making the joint inventories of unserviceable items/ parts to carryout the repair works, cleaning, greasing and overhauling complete including taking out & replacement of unserviceable/ worm out parts with new parts, fixing parts by draining out of transformer oil to make the transformer serviceable, refilling the transformer oil after reparing/ dehydration of oil to get the di-electric strength of oil upto 45 KV (rms), re-assembling after repairing and transporting the repaired transformer back to the work site, connecting all electrical/ mechanical connections, commissioning of transformer on load after testing complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per BOQ item No. 58.00 here-in-above but transformer of capacity 400KVA to 630KVA. Notes for BOQ item No. 58.00 & 59.00:- (i) Spare parts shall be measured and paid seperately. All parts/components replaced shall be identical to those specified by original manufacturer. (ii) The labour factor of dismantling/taking out of old winding are included in quoted rates but new winding shall be measured & paid separately. (iii) The draining of old transformer oil is deemed to included in quoted rates but filling new transformer oil and dehydration & refilling of old transformer oil shall be measured & paid separately. (iv) Additional transformer oil required for topping up shall be measured and paid separately. (v) A Board of Officers shall be appointed by the Accepting Officer for ascertaining the repair work required in transformer and all inventory shall be prepared in presence of Engineer-in-charge & Contractor/ accrediated reps. (vi) The transformer shall be repaired at authorized dealer workshop as approved by GE and the cost of this aspect is deemed to be included in quoted rates.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6, type C-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified & directed.

Material and labour PCC 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in coping to pole etc. including necessary formwork to exposed surface finished even & smooth complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and installation Air break switch, gang operated, triple pole, 11000 volt, 630amp rating, outdoor type confirming to IS specification for horizontal or vertical operation, mechanically operated, mounted on 12 insulators and steel frame with operating mechanism & operating rod of 25mm bore, heavy duty GI pipe from ground level with locking arrangements including making electrical connections to make it functional after testing including dismantling/taking down/out old unservieable air break gang operated switch from two/four pole structure complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing for cross arms, bracings, supports,clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over & including one coat of zinc oxide primer including dismantling of old unserviceable cross arm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, filling and poring transformer oil ISI marked in sealed containers for voltage stablizers and transformer of dielectric strength not less than 50 KV to comply IS-335 of 1993 including recording results complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Empty container shall become Govt property & shall be taken on charge throrugh receipt voucher. (ii) oil shall be used for top up only. (iii) Oil Test value record register shall be prepared in presence of AGE/JE and handed over the register to sub divn on completion of work. (iv) The contractor is required to submit the di-electric report of each transformer before claiming payment. (v) Purchase vouchers alongwith manufacturer's test certificate shall be produce at the time of payment.

Cleaning and preparation of surfaces of existing feeder pillar box and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint including removal of old paint by scratching complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting the electrical connections, cleaning and preparation of external surfaces of existing transformer of capacity 60KVA to 100 KVA for painting including fins/radiators, removal of all existing paint/ rust/oil/grease and unwanted material by scratching etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enamel metallic paint, smoke grey, by means of spray gun at site of installation of transformer including writing SM/MES number, capacity of transformer etc with black synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Tracing out fault in 11 KV under ground cable with the help of tracing machine and rectifying the same with joints to restore the supply complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Cable joint kit shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. (ii) Necessary earth work is included in quoted rates. (iii) All other necessary arrangements suitable for locating the faults is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iv) T & P required for the entire job shall be provided by the contractor at his own end and nothing extra shall be admissiable on this account.

Opening of all electrical connections HT/ LT from the bushing/ terminal box of the unserviceable distribution transformer, indoor/ outdoor type from existing position/ location, of any make & specifications, of capacity upto 315 KVA & loading the transformer with suitable crane and transporting the transformer to desired location given by Engr-in-charge and re-assembling after shifting, connecting all electrical/ mechanical connections, comissioning of transformer on load after testing complete all as specified and directed.

Opening of all electrical connections HT/ LT from the bushing/ terminal box of the unserviceable distribution transformer, indoor/ outdoor type from existing position/ location, of any make & specifications, of capacity upto 630 KVA & loading the transformer with suitable crane and transporting the transformer to desired location given by Engr-in-charge and re-assembling after shifting, connecting all electrical/ mechanical connections, comissioning of transformer on load after testing complete all as specified and directed.
