Ramp making for Hydra, trolly & Equipment movement: Making of two ramps at the flush out doors to enable the placement of trolley, gully sucker for loading of sludge and restoration after desludging. Ramp making to enable movement of hydra, trolley etc. to dump the sludge & other tank related work inclusive of provision of piping for maintaining flow in storm water drain. Ramp to be erected from suitable side of tank farm to enable movement of truck, tractor trolley etc. for sludge removal and hydra etc. for removal /Dismantling of fuel oil tank including all tools & Tackles, Equipments, manpower, supervision, consumables etc. Any damage to Pipe, drain shall be repaired by Contractor to its original condition as per direction of Site Engineer/ Engineer-in-charge.
Water Filling and emptying of tank : Filling approx 30-40 cms of water into the tank and emptying out oil-water mixture from the tank to owners Oil-Water collection pit with arrangement of Motor & pump/ piping/ labour/ tools & tackles complete in safe manner as above and as per entire satisfaction of EIC.
Cleaning of tank and Disposal of sludge: Cleaning of tank as per guideline given in the code API-2015 by a combination of mechanical/manual process, taking out sludge, moist clay liquid mixture, line scale etc. and transporting the sludge without spoiling the handling route including loading at Barauni Pump Station and unloading at specified place (Barauni Refinery) by closed vehicle like MOSRU, Gully sucker/emptier to slduge lagoon, taking all safety precautions including supply of all trolley/drums etc., tools and tackles, breathing apparatus, fire and safety appliances etc. to complete the job as per the direction of EIC. Cleaning & restoration of roads due to spillage of sludge (by spreading sand & scrapping the area) during transportation lies in contractor's scope including all tool & tackles, Manpower, equipments, consumable etc. No additional payment shall be made for cleaning and restoration.
Demolishing of dyke wall of both fuel oil tank and shifting of debris/malba within station premises: Demolishing dry brick pitching in floors, drains etc. including stacking weighing of debris shall be in vendor scope.
Dismantling of Shell/roof/ bottom plates: Retrieving all existing fittings, instruments, seals, side railings form the area expected to affect during dismantling, dismantling of damaged corroded shell / roof / bottom plates from tank, all welded oil storage tank by gas cuttings/cold cutting or any other suitable means as directed by engineer in charge & transporting them to storage point as designated in the Scrap Yard without disturbing / damaging any portion of existing piping, equipment tank & complete in all respect with all type of scaffolding, labour, tools, machineries. Dismantling of bottom (Annular) plates job involves cutting of bottom plates & shell to bottom plate welding, jacking of shell and also annular to sketch plate cutting. Dismantling of bottom (sketch) plates by gas cutting & roof to be properly supported for maintenance for tank bottom foundation repair. Note: The measurement of dismantling shall be calculated based on actual area laid of complete roof plate minus 10% corrosion correction. Unit MT stand for Metric tonnes (1 MT=1000Kg=1 TO). Weighing of dismantled part shall be in vendor scope. through weighing machine.
Dismantling of Structure: Dismantling of structural like roof plate support / stairway etc. Removal of existing platforms / Roof plate supports / davits / stairways etc. along with adjacent fittings / members by cutting / debolting or by any other means without damaging the remaining unit and lowering down to the ground including erection of scaffolding, retrieving of all the usable materials and transportation to the storage point as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Weighing shall be in vendor scope through weighing machine.
Dismantling of Piping (1.5", 2", 3", 4" & 6" Dia piping), Diesel unloading Pump shed and Equipment (Valves) associated with fuel oil tank and transportation to the storage point as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. weighing shall be in vendor scope through weighing machine.
Tank barricading & fire screen : The job involves Design, fabrication, erection and maintenance when required, of fire protection screen wall/barricading including supply of all materials which are to be retrieved and to be taken back by the contractor after completion of the job as per the instruction and to the full satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The design calculation shall be submitted for approval to the owner and shall be approved from Design Department. This rate shall be applicable for all heights. The job involves Design, fabrication & erection of barricading / fire protection screen wall including supply of all materials which are to be retrieved and to be taken back by the contractor after completion of the job including time to time maintenance, if required, as per the instruction and to the full satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Contractor shall make barricading / fire protection screen wall of tank firm area or any other location without disturbing / fouling the existing facilities. The purpose of barricading / fire protection screen wall is to carry out hot work in the barricaded area without disturbing the operation. The contractor's scope includes the design, engineering of barricading / fire protection screening wall suitable to take care of load of the barricading, wind load etc and taking approval of the design from owner. The erection shall only be started on approval of design by owner. The contractor's scope shall include the area preparation, excavation, foundation preparation, structural materials, cement, concrete, sand, dismantling of foundation, back filling & making the area good to original condition after completion of the job. Cost of all above mentioned jobs & other miscellaneous job to complete the barricading / fire protection wall in all respect are included. All jobs including supply of all materials shall be in the scope of contractors whether the same have been explicitly mentioned or not. ALL THE DESIGN CALCULATIONS & ITS CORRESPONDING STRUCTURAL DESIGN NEEDS TO BE GET APPROVED BY THE ENGINEERING SERVICVES DEPARTMENT OF THE IOCL. Design of barricading / fire protection screen wall shall consist broadly but not limited to: a) Loadings (wind load & dead load of column) as per IS875. b) General arrangement of the column for fire protection wall. c) Calculation of forces & bending moments at different points. d) Design calculation of column shall be based on the following guidelines: OPTION 1: Column built up of channel i) Design of batten plates. ii) Check for combined stress in column. iii) Calculation for self weight of column. iv) Design of base plate or any other requirement as per code. OPTION 2: Column built up of Angles i) Design of lacings. ii) Check for combined stress in column. iii) Calculation for self weight of column. iv) Design of base plate or any other requirement as per code. e) Design of guywire. f) Design of runners. g) Design of anchorage. h) Sectional elevation drawings.
