Excavation over areas not exceeding 1.50 m in depth and getting out in Hard / Dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation over areas exceeding 1.50 m and not exceeding 3.00 m in depth and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8, Type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Foundation, Fillings, Mass concrete, Footings etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for walling of random rubble masonry, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Crusher Dust / Stone Dust / M-Sand filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in Hard / Dense Soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick watered and rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified.

M & L for 100 mm thick, PCC 1:2:4, Type B-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Floors / Hard standing / Path etc., surface finished fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Inter Locking Paving Blocks of 80mm thick, made with M40 Grade cement concrete using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, Hydraulically pressed of approved colour and pattern, shape and size conforming to IS - 15658 set in floors including 50mm thick sand cushion and filling interstices complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Glazed Polish finished coloured Chequered Cement Concrete Tiles of thickness 23 to 25mm, made with M-25 Grade Precast Cement Concrete, Hydraulically pressed of size not less than 300 X 300 mm, of approved shape, colour and pattern, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry to match including screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 20 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Rolled Mild Steel work conforming to Fe 410-W, Grade-E- 250, Quality-A as in Plates [plain & chequered], Channels, Angles, square cut or notched [ordinary or counter sunk] forming holes without any attachment including fixed with Nut and Bolt / welding complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Mild Steel work as in Tubular Trusses, Posts etc. including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to IS - 1161, Grade YST - 240, Medium Grade of any dia complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Mild Steel work conforming to Fe - 290, Grade E-165 as in Framed Brackets of Angles or Tees with web and flanges cut to shape, drilled and counter shank for screw including bending and welding angles as necessary, gusset plates riveting etc, not exceeding 10 Kg each bracket complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F MS machine made screw bolts with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed other or screwed both ends, fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut not exceeding 5 cm long, dia of neck exceeding 20 mm but not exceeding 25 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work with Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for RCC M–30 Design Mix, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations including Pile Caps, Rafts, Footings, Foundation Beams, Plinth Beams, Bases for Columns etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for RCC M-30 Design Mix, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Columns, pillars, piers, posts and struts etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 6mm to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 5mm to 10mm dia bars as in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Plain / Reinforced cement concrete Type B1 [Nominal Mix] 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cast in situ in lintels up to 1.5m span, Cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings up to 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including use and waste of form work, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for providing Reinforced Cement Concrete with RCC M-30 Design Mix, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Precast Kerb Stones, Dividers of 100 mm thick with or without chamfered angles and flat, splayed, rounded or mitred tops including all mouldings, set in Cement Mortar 1:4 including necessary earthwork excavation and applying Two Coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for sand or grit of cast iron, malleable iron or steel or synthetic material blasting at high velocity with clean and dry compressed air blast and preparing the steel surfaces clean to receive the new treatment / painting of any width or girth and applying Two coats of Epoxy Paint of 120 Microns DFT over a coat of Zinc Phosphate Primer of 50 Microns DFT by Spray Painting using equipment as approved by the manufacturer complete as per manufacturers instructions, all as specified and as directed. Note: Painting shall be carried out by Authorised Applicator of the manufacturer only.

M & L for two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide / Zinc Chrome Primer on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Use and removal of steel formwork to sides of concrete foundations, pile caps, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits [if any] of foundation and plinth beams and similar work, vertical or to batter for rough finished surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Use and removal of steel formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions of any shape / cross section for fair finished surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered wall / Ceiling surfaces and applying Two coats of Weather Proof Exterior Emulsion Paint [100% Acrylic] over a Coat of Weather Proof Exterior Primer of same manufacturer as that of paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Raised Pointing in Cement Mortar 1:3 to random rubble uncoursed or brought up to coursed masonry complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for pre-painted Galvalume steel sheets of Trapezoidal profile having pitch 190mm, depth 29mm or Tiled Profile and thickness 0.50mm [Galvalume base-PPGL trapezoidal profile sheets], having tensile strength of 550 Mpa, fixed with aluminium self tapping screws, neoprene and EPDM washers of suitable size in roof covering complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Overlap shall be provided as specified by the manufacturer.

Demolition of Unreinforced Cement Concrete in ground floors and Pavings not exceeding 15cm thick [below or above ground level] and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 over a backing coat of 10mm thick in CM 1:6 on concrete or brick masonry surfaces including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Serial Item No. 1 & 2: The rates quoted for respective items includes cost of Dewatering and Shoring / Shuttering as required at site if an inflow of water into excavations is caused by powerful springs, tidal or river seepage, broken water mains or drains and the like or rising of water table. Bailing and pumping of water, if required, shall be done as described in para 3.17 of MES Schedule Part – I or suitable methods as directed by the GE and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. Please also note that rate quoted for respective items includes cost of timbering to uphold sides of excavation if required and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. General Note: The rates quoted for respective items is also includes for making diversion of sewage water etc. during construction of abutments of FOB by suitable arrangements to prevent seepage of the same in to the excavation pits and foundations etc.
