REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF CERTAIN ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT DOMESTIC AND ADM AREA AT INA EZHIMALA

Material and labour for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with Cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS 8887 at the rate of 0.2 to 0.3 Kg per Sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Premix bituminous, macadam with paving bitumen VG 30 at 4% by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver rolled and compacted with vibratory power roller to required gradient and camber (75 mm consolidated thickness or less) all as specified and directed. Note: In the event of variation of bitumen percentage in the mix design on lesser side,the difference in quantity of bitumen will be adjusted (minus) through supply only rate as per purchase voucher. However no price adjustment shall be applicable if exces quantity of bitumen is used which is necessiated in mix design/approved during execution of the work)

Material and labour for bituminous premix Semi-Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using bitumen grade VG-30, mixed in hot mix plant, laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with vibratory power roller HD 99 VV or equivalent roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: In the event of variation of bitumen percentage in the mix design in the percentage of binder content on lesser side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted (Minus) through supply only rates of paving bitumen VG-30 as per purchase voucher. However, no price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item.

Repairs to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, path etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming including supply of road metal making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm , putting premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with 9.8 kg per 10 sqm bitumen grade VG-30, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot hole exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un reinforced)of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete.

Surface dressing of the road side berms including removing vegetation and inequalities deposited mud /silt/earth etc and cleaning the existing stone / concrete surfaces etc wherever extists not exceeding 15cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50m and lift upto 1.5 m all as directed by Engg-in-charge.

M&L for Ready Mix Concrete Design mix (M-30 grade ) using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road berms, floors, pavement/hard-standing etc surface finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed

Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green red & yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.
