Disconnecting the existing cable from panel/pole, preparing the end for jointing including all earth work and S & F end joint kit in replacement for 1.1 KV grade suitable for outdoor/indoor type terminal heat shrinkable type joints with jointing material for 3.5 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 185 to 300 Sqmm complete all as specified.

S&F Bus Bar Chamber of size 60 x 60 x45 cm suitable of 3 phase 433 Volts outdoor type made out of 3.15 mm thick M S Sheet with 200 Amps rated aluminium busbar (4Nos ) PVC sleeves and coloured (Red,Yellow,Blue and Black) with locking arrangments and angle iron stand of size 40 x 40 x 6mm frame grouted in ground with PCC foundatiuon 1:2:4 type C1 with 20mm graded stone aggregate alongwith all necesary cable connections,lugs and cable gland including 2 coat of paint over a coat of red oxide primer all as directed.

Disconnecting and taking out defective UG cable from trench/pole/pipe/floor/wall etc locate the fault, rectify the defects and relaying the XLPE cable UG PVC insulated and overall sheathed aluminium conductor heavy duty LT/HT 1.1/11 KV grade, connecting and testing for any size of cable complete as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note; Excavatio/earth work shall be measured and paid separaterly under relevent items of schedule.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of powder coated compartmentalized LT feeder pillar box / panel, of suitable size, symetrical with overload, short circuit and earth fault protection, having bus bar chambers with rated aluminium bus bar, duly insulated with coloured PVC sleeves as per standard code, rigidly mounted on bakelite / DMC insulators (square / round with good insulation resistance), fabricated out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet steel, totally enclosed, dust proof, weather proof, vermin proof, double door with suitable locking arrangements and suitable for operation on 415V, 50Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire AC supply with gland plates, cable glands, lifting hooks, ventilating louvers, bus bars, inter connections, earthing, labeling electrical interlocking, suitable for termination of cables, mounted/fixed on and including MS angle iron stand /frame 40cm height from FFL, fabricated out of 50x50x6mm thick MS angle legs (4Nos.) duly grouted in ground with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 painting all exposed metal surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (of approved tint) over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer with, accommodating and including the under mentioned and connecting up complete all as specified and as directed

M&L for painting the swaged steel tubural LT poles including cross arms,clamps and light bracktes surface of any discription after preparation of old painted surface(removing old paint by paint removers and cleaning with scraper any number of exiting coats) with one finishing coat aluminium paint and marking pole no. as per exiting numbers and painting of lower portion of pole in alternate layer of sky blue and orange shades/colour (Airforce colour) complete. Restretching properly and tightening ACSR conductor including rebinding aftes straining the single conductor on LT pole of any size replacing of jumpers if necessary all as directed.

Cutting vegetation and surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep including removing the materials to a distance not-exc 60 mtr complete. (Note :- Item shall be executed twice in each installation and quantity is given for two operation. However unit rate to be quoted by the tendered for single operation only)

M&L for triming of tree branches (touching HT/LT OH line) upto 10cm girth at any height carefully taking shutdown including suitable disposal of cut of tree branches as in repair complete. Note:- tools & plants including safety measures equipments like belt,ladder & rops etc shall be arranged by the contractor at own cost.

S&F in replacement rectangular type earth pit cover made out of heavy duty cast iron of size 12"x12" with MS frame of suitable size incl all necessary masonary work for fixing of earth pit cover incl replacement of wire mesh( jali) ,funnel including painting of plain PCC earthing pits surface by preparing new untreated surface,applying priming paints coats y two coats followed by two coats synthetic enamelled paint all as directed by EIC.

M&L for Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long incl fixing base plate with insulator complete fixing on the top roof of the hanger/Tech buildings complete all as specified.

S&F Test point terminal block made of gun metal phosphorus bronze, size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed incl 3Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw, all as specified.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in blocks to hold GI extension pipe for Air termination rod and for pole coping complete including necessary use and waste of form work required, all as directed

M&L copper strip 20x3mm on FRP insulator fixed on wall/MS sheet or floors incl connecting to lightening arrester/earthing/test point , strip should be brazed/welded at each joint complete.

M&L GI strip 32 x 6mm on FRP insulator fixed on wall/MS sheet or floors incl connecting to lightening arrester/earthing/test point strip should be brazed/welded at each joint complete.

Supply and fixing PVC/Porcelain insulator on wall/MS sheet incl removing of existing earth strip of any type and refixing the same on insulators.

M & L brazing/welding on joints of any type of earth strip all as directed by EIC.

M &L Preventive maintenance of Normal GI/copper earth pit by checking earth resistance value of earth and maintain the record before and after treatment of earth pit by pouring of Mixture of chemicals like sodium carbonate , magnesium sulphate , common salt, charcoal etc for improving the earth resistance value it also includes any excavation required at site complete all as specified and directed. by EIC.

M &L Preventive maintenance of Chemical earth pit by checking earth resistance value of earth and maintain the record before and after treatment of earth by pouring of chemical compound used in chemical earthing etc for improving the earth resistance value less than 1 ohm it also includes any excavation required at sitecomplete all as specified and directed by EIC.

Repair/Maintenance of any type any size LT panel by openinig all incoming and outgoing LT cable connection and reconnecting the LT cable in proper manner by changing all burnt lugs and proper insulation of all nacked cable incl cleaning of panel with blower from inside and removing all grass and bushes around the panel up to 2 mtr distance incl Painting of panel one coat of synthetic enamel paint of grey colour, welding work for repair of broken hinges, doors, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for digging of cable loop of LT XPLE cable of any size with all necessary excavation and return filling and replacing the end joint / straight through joint kit in replacement for 1.1kV grade with provision of jointing material for 3.5 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of any size complete all as specified and as directed Note: End/straight through joint will be measured and paid seperately under respective items herein. All other requistes shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate

M &L in replacement for provn of identifier legend of GI plate of size 300x200x1.6mm mounted on 25mm dia GI pipe of 0.9 mtr length incl cutting to exact shape/size as per Air HQ office letter No. Air HQ/72106/17/DES (crood) dt 31 Dec 2015. Welding,marking necessary painting and writing the date, type of earth pit and resistance value etc complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L Synthetic Insulating mat of size 2mx 1m x12mm complete all as specified.

Providing labour, transport and T&P for locating the fault in LT line in OH/UG Line/cable by visual inspection recce of faulty area and repairs to the fault by means of replacement of Unservicible Jumpers / Fuse wires / Burnt lugs / MCCB/ Cable etc. inclusive o restringing of broken ACSR conductors/ Earth wire incl. taking out and relaying the same after defects rectification upto 5M length.

Note : (i) Materials requried for fault repairs will be measured under relevant items included in BOQ. (ii) Contractor will depute the dedicated team, he will completely responsible for all the safety aspects of his team. No dispute regarding safety of person would be entertain later on. If any mishappening occures during rectifaction of fault in LT lines contractor will be fully liable to bear all the expenses of indls. (iii) Maximum 10 No.of misc complaints/petty repairs at different location will be treated as one job.

Special Notes:- (a) Contractor will provide all set of T&P, communication device (Mobile Phone) to deployed persons/ electrician team as required for repair of LT Electrical switch gear system including safety equipment (Bamboo ladders, shorting rod, screw drivers, wire/cable cutters with blades, multi meters, cutting pliers, torch lights and rain coat etc.) for routine maintenance and protection of the trademan. (b) On intimation of any type of repair/maintenance work of LT switch gear incomer as well as out going feeder the contractor is responsible to locate the fault by the dedicated team comprising tradesman helpers required numbers as per the gravity /nature of the work involved to restore the power supply (not less than one electrician and one helper) and communicate with SBA on duty and getting permit card for working on LT lines and deposit the permit card after rectification of fault, all the activities shall be carried out within reasonable time as given by the Engr-in-Charge. (c) Contractor will provide necessary complaint slip, complaint boook & permit book, contractor will direct the instructions to indls for lodgging the complaints duly marked the location, time and date for earlier rectifications. (d) After getting the complaints, team deployed by the contractor will rectify the complaints within stipulated time i.e within 2 hours from the time of receiving of complaints. (e) Contractor should also provide a dedicated supervisor for collection of complaints from SBA, JE etc. He would be held responsible, in case complaints are not collected timely

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level,the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15cm on all side and including connected toand including galvanized earth lead strip 32 x 6mm size upto 7.5mtrs long by means of nuts and bolts, check nuts and washers of GI and connected to earhing test point and earth dolly all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR part I and testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil,PCC(1:3:6)type C1 chamber,pre-cast RCC slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4),type B1,reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM,(weight not less than 4 Kg per Sqm) with cast iron frame,funnel with watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade,wire mesh and lugs,GI protection pipe,40mm dia,light grade,7.5mtr long for protection of earth lead upto test point etc all as specified and as directed.
