REPAIR TO WOODEN FURNITURE AT JODHPUR MIL STN GE ARMY NO. 1 JODHPUR

Note for all items:- Repairs to wooden furniture will be carried out as following stages:- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given item description & specification and mentinoned drg(FD), after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing, providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/BSO. All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. (b) Work will be executed where the furniture at BSO's Furniture. (c) All Timber shall be of 1st class seasoned hard teak wood free from knots and cracks else specified in drg. (d) Anti-termite and anti-bug treatment shall be done before polishing the wooden items. (e) M&L for melamine polish high gloss/matt finish with spray machine applying shellac,wood filler,shelar etc after removing of existing polish making surfae smooth by sanding and grinding with standard workmanship as directed by BSO to the following furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series/TP or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface as well as washing with caustic soda wherever required before polishing all as specified and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Shade of polishing/pinting will be directed by GE/BSO.

Table 3'X2' with / without Drawer (FD-55/284/283 or simillar)

a) Top 18/19 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) duly post -formed with 0.6 mm thick laminate sheet in one side decorative teak finish and other side balancing white lamination as approved by GE/BSO with teak wood edging of shall be fixed on two sides with strong bonded chemical adhesive through hot pressed machine complete rest all as per drg.

g) Drawer made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of approved shade by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive as approved by EIC/GE in front, sides/back shall be of 18 mm thick BWP plywood and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood complete. Telescopic channel and CP Handle 4" as per sample held in BSO yard be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC. Synthetic Enamel Paint to be applied two coats in all surfaces after applying wooden putty except front of drawers.

h) Fancy Knob CP as per sample held in yard.

j) Wooden corners to be provided all as directed by EIC/GE.

Table 3'X3' (FD- 88 & 291)

a) Top 18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) duly post -formed with 0.6 mm thick laminate in colour/shade as approved by EIC/GE with 1.6 mm thick PVC edging of shall be fixed on two sides with strong bonded chemical adhesive through hot pressed machine complete rest all as per drg.

c) Top for table dining table 4 pers made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood duly pasted with 0.8 mm thick sunmica pasted on exposed view and other side with balancing white sunmica with suitable adhesive all as directed by GE/EIC. 1.6 mm thick PVC edging of shall be fixed with suitable adhesive and edge banding machine all as directed by GE/EIC.

d) Wooden corners to be provided all as directed by EIC/GE.

e) Cabinet box with vertical and horizontal partitions with 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm pasted on exposed view and other side with balancing white sunmica with suitable adhesive of shade approved by EIC/GE all as directed by GE/EIC. Back ply shall be 12 mm BWP grade.

f) Cabinet door made out of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm pasted on exposed view and other side with balancing white sunmica with suitable adhesive of shade approved by EIC/GE and drg. Lock and CP Handle 4" be provided in Cabinet all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg.

g) Back ply BWP grade as per drg.

h) Drawer made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of approved shade by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive as approved by EIC/GE in front, sides/back shall be of 18 mm thick BWP plywood and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood complete. Telescopic channel and CP Handle 4" as per sample held in BSO yard be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC. Table Dressing Ladies (FD-32,251, DB-3180)

a) Frame assembly along with Mirrorr 5mm thick & 6 mm thick Back ply BWP grade as per drg.

b) Cabinet box with partitions with 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood one side decorative choice (sunmica 0.80mm of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive) and other side painted surface with deco paint in two coats and rear/back side ply shall be 12 mm BWP grade complete all as per drg, specifications and directed by GE/EIC.

c) Drawer made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of approved shade by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive as approved by EIC/GE in front, sides/back shall be of 18 mm thick BWP plywood and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood complete. Telescopic channel and CP Handle 4" as per sample held in BSO yard be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC. Synthetiv Enamel Paint to be applied two coats in all surfaces after applying wooden putty except front of drawers

d) Plain glass with roller and slider as per drg.

e) 12 mm thick back ply BWP grade of table dressing box as per drg.

Table Dressing Ladies (FD/E6/MAP/07)

a) Cabinet box with partitions with 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm thick of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive on one side and deco paint to be applied two coats on other side all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Back ply shall be 12 mm BWP grade as per drg.

b) Drawer made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of approved shade by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive as approved by EIC/GE in front, sides/back shall be of 18 mm thick BWP plywood and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood complete. Telescopic channel and CP Handle 4" as per sample held in BSO yard be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC. Synthetic Enamel Paint to be applied two coats in all surfaces after applying wooden putty except front of drawers

d) 12 mm thick back ply BWP grade of table dressing box as per drg.

Stool Dressing with Cushion (FD/MAP-II/07)

a) Cabinet box for stool dressing with 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive on one side and deco paint to be applied two coats on other side all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Back ply shall be 12 mm BWP grade as per drg.

b) Repair of Stool dressing and S&F PU foam cushion with 40 Density with Tapestry cloth as approved by EIC/GE of rate not less than Rs 550/RM complete as per Drg and as directed by EIC.

c) Heavy duty Revolving Nylon double wheels as per drg.

Peg Table (FD-277/ 384, DB-3973)

a) Top 18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) ISI marked duly post -formed with 0.6 mm thick laminate in colour/shade as approved by EIC/GE with 1.6 mm thick PVC edging of shall be fixed on two sides with strong bonded chemical adhesive through hot pressed machine complete rest all as per drg.

b) Legs as per drg.

c) Top rail/Bottom Rail rail as per drg irrespective of drg.

d) Top short rail to be provided irrespective of drg.

e) stiffener between bottom rail to be provided irrespective of drg.

Table Bed Side (FD-276/248)

a) 6 mm thick back ply BWP grade of table bed side as per drg.

b) Top/bottom/Shelf made out of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm on both side of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive all as directed by GE/EIC and drg.

c) Sides made out of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm on both side of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive all as directed by GE/EIC and drg.

Table Centre (FD-274 /235)

a) Top 18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) ISI marked duly post -formed with 0.6 mm thick laminate in colour/shade as approved by EIC/GE with 1.6 mm thick PVC edging of shall be fixed on two sides with strong bonded chemical adhesive through hot pressed machine complete rest all as per drg.

c) Top rail/stiffener as per drg

a) Cabinet box complete with vertical and horizental partitions made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive on one side and deco paint to be applied two coats on other side all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Back ply shall be 12 mm BWP grade as per drg.

b) Cabinet door made out of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive for both sides all as directed by GE/EIC and drg. Auto concealed hinges. Lock and CP Handle 4" be provided in Cabinet all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg.

c) Drawer made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of approved shade by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive as approved by EIC/GE in front, sides shall be of 1st class teak wood and bottom of drawer shall be 9 mm thick BWP Plywood complete. Telescopic channel and CP Handle 4" be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Deco paint to be applied two coats in all surfaces except front of drawers.

d) Base Frame structure to be made complete with 25mm dia PVC shoeall as specified and as per drg.

e) Fancy Knob SS CP as per sample held in yard.

Teapoy (FD-278, 34, 382)

a) Top 18 mm thick MDF board exterior grade (Grade I, Type-II) ISI marked duly post -formed with 0.6 mm thick laminate in colour/shade as approved by EIC/GE with 1.6 mm thick PVC edging of shall be fixed on two sides with strong bonded chemical adhesive through hot pressed machine complete rest all as per drg.

a) Cabinet door with CP fancy knob (Sample kept in BSO yard) made 1st class teak wood. SS Piano higes shall be used for fixing all as directed by GE/EIC.

b) Top/bottom/side/back/partition made of 1st class teak wood.

c) Base Frame structure to be made complete with 25mm dia PVC shoe all as specified and as per drg.

Bin Linen Multipurpose (FD/E6/MAP/09)

a) Cabinet box complete with vertical and horizental partitions made of 18 mm thick BWP grade plywood over which pasting of sunmica 0.80mm of shade approved by EIC/GE with suitable adhesive on one side and deco paint to be applied two coats on other side all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg. Back ply shall be 12 mm BWP grade as per drg.
