Defect rectification of EO camera of ICGS C-423

L-026: Ship’s EO Camera not working. During defect investigation of EO camera following defects observed (Make: ELBIT System, Type: 8’’ inch Micro Compass/BR, Model: Micro COMPAS-35024). The defect to be rectified and system to be proved for satisfactory operation:- (a) System not getting ON while trying to switch ON as power board observed +5, +12V DC absent due to defective DC convertor, step sown transformer, power regulator, MOSFETS and controller IC’s (b) System day camera observed tripping of and getting over heat due to defective regulator board. (c) System thermal camera observed not getting ON due to defective video power board and processing board. (d) Azimuth and elevation observed not functioning due to corroded gear assembly, bearing and gyro sensing circuits. Gyro sensor defective. (e) Cooling fans not working. (f) System key board is not functioning with many of it’s keys as key control circuit is defective. (g) Moisture presence observed inside the system. (h) All gaskets are old and perished. (j) Many flat ribbon cable found open/ short circuited. (k) Focus, zoom functions not working.
