Contract Details

Supply & fix in replacement copper strips 32x6 mm on porcelin insulator 15 BMD type 'T' placed not more than 50 cm apart including copper nut & bolts complete all as specified & directed by Engr - in - Charge . ( Note : Porcelain insulators with nuts bolts and screws will be measured and paid separatly under relavent items of this BOQ)

Supply only 15 BMD type T with nut bolts / screws for fixing of aluminium strips on roof including provn of PCC of size 10cmX10cmX10cm etc to avoid leakage of roof complete as directed.

S&F in replacement test point terminal block made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze size 150x150x75 mm depth , drilled , cutting upper & lower portion for incoming & outgoing including double insulators two coat of synthetic enamel paint complete as directed .

Supply and fix in replacement air termination rod single pointed aluminium 12 mm dia & 300 mm long .

Supply and errect in replacement vertically GI steel tubing 40 mm bore medium grade complete with fittings for raising height of existing air termination rods to site present requirements.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 with 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in fixing insulators GI tubing etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for earthing in replacement complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to copper earth strip 20x3mm size (upto 7.5 metre from ground electrode) by means of copper/brass bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES Schedule Part-I, connected to earth test terminal block and testing on completion with and including 40mm bore light grade GI protection pipe for strip upto plingth protection, PCC pit in mix 1:3:6 type C1, with RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, 40 mm thick cover, reinforced with 6 mm dia MS bars 3Nos. both ways with lifting hook made out of 6 mm dia bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, common salt and charcoal filling, necessary excavation and earth work complete.

Repair of earth pit incl required excavation ,earth work and PCC work to make good damaged /disturbed surfaces of earth pit chamber & making required pit cover of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced and lifting handle on RCC cover with 8 mm bars at 150 mm centre to centre both ways incl supply & fixing of wire mess and funnel including re-connection of earth wire/strip with panel/transformer using GI/copper nut, bolts washer complete all as specified and directed

Supply & fix in replacement Galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm on pole/TFR/ LT panels etc including nut & bolts /washers complete all as specified & directed by Engr - in - Charge .
