Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth in loose/soft soil, getting out and leveling the bottom surface to required gradient for laying of water supply mains complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick , all as specified .

Removing surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50m and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m from the starting point, all as specified.

Dismentaling/disconnecting and taking out of existing GI tube of 15mm bore dia from the existing walls/floors/roofs for repair/replacement and making good disturbed surfaces complete all as specified.

Ditto all as per item No 04 but 20mm bore dia.

Ditto all as per item No 04 but 25mm bore dia.

Run lead joints for CI pipe 80mm bore dia spigot & soketed/CI fittings including all jointing material required at site complete and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Repair to leakage in the pipe line at flanged joints only complete including replacement of Rubber gasket joint complete with necessary jointing materials including replacement of all bolts, nuts and washers where ever required complete including necessary excavation and earth work if required to trace the leakage for CI/DI pipe line of size 100mm to 250mm dia bore.

Supplying & fixing in replacement including testing cast iron sluice valve with flanged ends drilled heavy duty, ISI marked, class PN-1.6 with stainless steel spindle and operating wheel of cast iron at top including necessary nuts, bolts, washers and rubber packing for connecting pieces etc. for size 80mm bore dia complete all as specified.

CI Air valve with two air outlets conforming to IS 14845 of size 50mm dia bore and fixing up in cast iron water supply mains of size 150mm complete including taking down the existing one all as specified.

CI foot valve flanged type including nuts bolts washers and rubber of size 150 mm dia confirming to IS-4038 complete including taking down the existing one all as specified.

CI non return valve 250mm dia without by pass arrangement confirming to IS-5312 part-I, PN 1.0 including nuts, bolts, washers and gaskets including taking out old UNSV NRV complete all as specified.

Ditto all as per item No 48 but 150mm bore dia.

Construction of brick masonry valve chamber of size 120 cm x 120 cm x 120 cm (internal dimension) in CM 1:6 including base PCC 1:3:6 type C2 with 40 mm graded coarse aggregate and plastering the walls from inside and outside the chamber as in CM 1:6, provisioning of angle iron frame 40 x 40 x 6 mm and 3.15 mm MS plate as chamber cover with locking arrangement and provn of red oxide primer with two coats of synthetic enamel paint including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr away and depositing where directed at level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point including demolition/ dismentling of existing valve chamber complete all as specified.

Ditto all as per item No 50 but size 90cmx90cmx90cm (internal height).

S&F leather packing 6mm thick all as directed and specified.

Taking out unservicable brass/steel spindle of size 150/ 200/ 250mm by unscrewing top cover of sluice valve including taking to the workshop for the required leath work brass welding rebuilding threads etc as required and refix the same for smooth functioning of water supply complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and fixing in replacement copper thimbles size 185 Sqmm all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation or surface dressing in hard/dense soil not exceeding average 15CM deep for cleaning the area by cutting the unwanted bushes/vegitation growth in and around the area of installations/around the valve pit chamber/along the pipe line routes if reqd etc all as specified and as directed.
