GENERAL NOTE: 1) Debris generated from this work shall be disposed off by the contractor outside departmental premises by mechanical transport etc. without any extra cost to the department and/or as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. During execution of work Contractor should maintain proper safety measures and provide proper insurance coverage to all work men to be engaged in this work. Contractor should quote rates accordingly. 2) Bidders must visit the site before submission of tender. 3) Above mentioned work will be executed at Bidhannagar campus of VECC. Bidders are requested to quote rates accordingly. 4) Rate of each item shall include the cost of manpower, materials, tools & tackles, scaffolding etc. at all level. 5) Contractor has to be very careful so that no nuisance is created or users are not disturbed during execution of the work. Labours engaged should be well behaved/good mannered. 6) Security regulation and rules of DAE shall be strictly followed during deployment of materials and work force. The work should be done satisfying all safety aspects and insurance coverage, ESI for all workers to be involved in this job is a mandatory requirement and contractor should quote rates accordingly. PPE’S such as safety shoe, helmet with chin strap, safety belts, safety goggles, safety shoes, welding shields, gloves, vici wear etc. are compulsory for all workers. 7) Copies of challan for the materials brought inside campus shall be submitted for reference & record of the department. 8) Time schedule as mentioned in NIT shall be strictly adhered to. The work should be carried out even on extended time period if required and for that special permission has to be obtained from competent authority.
Dismantling & demolishing brick work / plain cement concrete (P.C.C.)/ reinforced cement concrete (R.C.C.) including cutting of rods, stacking of serviceable materials within a lead of 50M inside VECC campus preferably at central store/scrap yard by chiseling etc. at all level and location including scaffolding, disposal of unserviceable materials outside premises etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by EIC.

In Plain Cement Concrete (P.C.C.) 1:3:6 / 1:2:4 including mosaic at window sill, mosaic tiles at flooring and/or skirting.

Providing labours, tools, tackles etc. for dismantling of existing Aluminium Extruded section including fixed glazing/particle board/cement fibre board etc. in partition wall/doors/windows etc., removing aluminium framework carefully, separating each section, handling existing glass/board cautiously including removing necessary fittings (screws, cleat angle, glazing clips, rubber gaskets etc.) stacking of serviceable materials as directed by E-I-C inside VECC campus after thorough cleaning the dismantled aluminium sections and glasses/boards with mild soap water solution at all level, location etc., scaffolding if any, all complete as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Existing glasses/cement fibre boards if damaged more than 5% shall be replaced by the contractor free of cost.
Providing materials, labours, tools, tackles etc. for cutting/dismantling/removing of MS/wooden/aluminium doors/windows etc. completely from existing room/wall etc. at any floor, level, location including careful removal of glass/boards from window/door etc. and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of salvageable/serviceable materials within 150m lead inside VECC campus at any level, location etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing labours, tools, tackles etc. for dismantling existing false ceiling including framework/grids etc. and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable materials within 150m lead inside VECC campus at any level, location etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing labour, tools and tackles etc. for dismantling structural steelwork in single/built up sections etc. in angles, tees, channels, pipes, tubes (RHS/CHS/SHS), RS joists etc. including all gusset plates, chequered plates, bolts, nuts etc., cutting members from the existing structures etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead inside VECC campus etc. all complete at all level and locations, as directed by EIC.
Providing labour, tools, tackles for removing/dismantling G.I. pipes with fittings and stacking within a distance of 100M at any level, location etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-In- Charge. (a)Upto 80mm dia G.I. Pipe

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) at all level, location, using graded stone aggregate 20mm maximum size including mixing, conveying, placing, consolidation, finishing, dewatering if necessary, curing, necessary scaffolding, form work, including dismantling and disposing of old damaged concrete etc. all complete as per drawing and as directed.
Plain Cement Concrete (1:2:4)
Providing and laying Cement Concrete in the grade as per following sub items at all level, location, conforming to IS: 456-2000 (Reaffirmed 2021) using graded stone aggregate 20mm maximum size including machine mixing, conveying, placing, mechanical consolidation, finishing, dewatering if necessary curing, scaffolding etc. complete as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for Reinforced Cement Concrete: a) Cement for structural work shall be OPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. b) PPC/blended cement of ISI marked shall only be used for finishing works on prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. c) All concrete work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifications. d) The rates for concrete works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and formwork unless otherwise mentioned. e) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm maximum size and uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. f) Test for concrete shall be done as per IS-456:2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.
Reinforced Cement Concrete (R.C.C.) 1:1.5:3
Reinforced Cement Concrete (R.C.C.) M-30 grade
Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) confirming to IS:4926-2003 (or latest) in lieu of conventional concrete items supplied by approved RMC manufactures for all type of structural elements including transporting pumping etc. complete as per instruction of the Engineer -in Charge. Notes for RMC: a) Prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge for the supplier of RMC to be taken. b) No extra payment for shapes, sizes, curves, slopes etc. shall be entertained. c) Concrete quantity will be measured as per actual consumption at site/as per drawing, not as per quantity procured.
Notes for Brickwork: a) The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-in-Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. b) Necessary openings / nitches / cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-in-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. c) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 250mm and half brick wall as 125 mm and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in CM 1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department. d) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.
Brick work in cement mortar 1:4 at all level using well burnt bricks of class 7.5 & above as per IS 1077:1992; 125mm thick, correct to line level, plumb, scaffolding (if any), curing, racking out joint, pointing etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing cement plastering on external/internal surfaces at all level and location with cement mortar (1:4) final rendering, finished smooth over masonary/concrete surface including hacking of concrete surface, curing, scaffolding etc. square cutting, dismantling of old damaged plaster, cleaning, disposal etc. as per sub items below, including providing bond coat made with cement admixed with water and latex (SBR) in the ratio 1:1:3 (1 latex, 1 water, 1 cement) Notes: a) For 20mm thick plaster, bond coat is to be applied twice, one before applying 1st coat and 2nd one before applying final coat. b) For 15mm thick plaster only one bond coat before applying plaster is to be provided.
On external surface: 20mm thick in 2 coats over exterior surface at all height, level, location with base coat in cement mortar 1:4, 12mm thick and finishing coat in cement mortar 1:4, 8mm thick over masonry/concrete surface, including using water proofing agent conforming IS:2645-2007 (or latest) @ 2% by weight of cement or as recommended by the manufacturer for the back coat and using Recron 3S of M/s. Reliance @125 gm pouch per 50Kg bag of cement for final coat or other approved equivalent make and/or as per manufacturer’s recommendation for finishing coat etc. all complete as per drawing and as directed by EIC.
On internal surface, walls and ceilings: 15mm thick in one coat in cement mortar 1:4 at all height, level, location including Recron 3S of M/s. Reliance @125gm pouch per 50kg bag of cement or approved equivalent etc. complete as per specifications, drawing and as directed by EIC.
Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick on plastered surface matching with existing surrounding floor / wall etc. complete as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cement consumption shall be 0.15 Cum per 100 Sqm
Providing, erecting, fixing in position, striking / removing and cleaning steel / timber shuttering & centering for form work / making pockets for foundation bolts etc. at all foundation level & locations as mentioned for all geometrical shapes and designs as per drawings including rails bracings, props, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc. providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the EIC. (Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment & stop boards for construction joints etc. will not be measured for payment)
Structural steel work at all floors and locations in guard bars, structural platform, grills, guard bars for windows, frames, covers, cover bracket for slanting chajja, using angles, tees, flats, bars, chequered plates, inserts fabricated out of mild steel bars, channels, angles, pipes, plates and diaphram plates for expansion joints etc. at all level, location, slope of required shapes, sizes including supplying, cutting, fabricating, hoisting, welding, erecting, making holes/chases by drilling (up to 25mm dia) including providing nut bolts (up to 20mm dia) wherever required and fixing/embedding in position in concrete/brick work with necessary hold fasts/screws & raw plugs and finishing the concrete/brick work after fixing/embedding, preparing surface mechanically for removal of rust, dirt, flakes etc. including painting two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved make and colour on all surfaces over a coat of approved red oxide zinc chromate primer, complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Structural steel work with angle, channel, beam, MS plate (plain/chequered), flat, square bars etc. conforming to IS:2062-2011 (or latest), IS:800-2007 (or latest) & IS:806-1968 (reaffirmed 2017) of M/s. TATA/ M/s. SAIL/RINL or equivalent.
In RHS (Rectangular hollow section), SHS (Square Hollow section) CHS (Circular hollow section) of M/S TATA under brand "STRUCTURA'' or equivalent.
Note : i) Samples of all structural members including steel rectangular/square sections proposed to be used for fabrication will be weighed and actual weight shall be considered for payment. Wastage will not be measured for payment which shall be included in the rate. ii) The contractor shall submit 6 copies of shop drawing showing the dimensions details of fabrication etc. for the approval of Engineer-in-Charge. iii) Approval of Engineer-in-Charge for complete details and shop drawings shall be obtained before commencement of the work. iv) Quoted rate shall include cost of all shapes and sizes including circular, semi-circular etc. of the roof system.
Painting on old painted / plastered exterior wall surfaces with two or more coats of exterior Acrylic Emulsion paint ‘Weather shield Max’ under brand Akzonobel or other approved equivalent protective finish of approved shade including sand papering, wire brushing, curing and cleaning the surface to remove all coatings, dust etc. filling up the cracks and crevices if any with approved putty including applying a coat of compatible stabilizing solution (primer) of approved make as directed, scaffolding etc. complete as per specifications, drawings, manufacturer’s recommendations and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Painting with two or more coats of Acrylic emulsion paint on internal surface at all level & location with approved shade and make including roller application over a coat of compatible cement based primer including preparing surface, primer filling with putty, wherever required, scaffolding, cleaning of surface, removal of stains etc. Complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Painting two or more coats of Synthetic Enamel Paint of 1st quality and approved make, shade/colour on MS surface, MS/GI pipes etc. over a coat of metal red oxide zinc chromate primer, including through surface preparation by mechanical grinding, removing & cleaning of all rust, dust etc. filling up of dents, cracks with suitable putty etc. all complete at any height and level location including providing necessary scaffolding etc. all complete as directed by the EIC.
Providing and Fixing 15 mm thick integral densified tegular edged ecofriendly light weight calcium silicate false ceiling tiles manufactured by M/s Aerolite of approved texture of size 595 x 595 mm in true horizontal level, suspended on inter locking metal grid of hot dipped galvanised steel sections (galvanising @ 120 grams per sqm including both side) consisting of main ‘T’ runner suitably spaced at joints to get required length and of size 24x38 mm made from 0.33 mm thick (minimum) sheet, spaced 1200 mm centre to centre, and cross “T” of size 24x28 mm made out of 0.33 mm (Minimum) sheet, 1200 mm long spaced between main ’T’ at 600 mm centre to centre to form a grid of 1200x600 mm and secondary cross ‘T’ of length 600 mm and size 24 x28 mm made of 0.33 mm thick (Minimum) sheet to be inter locked at middle of the 1200x 600 mm panel to from grid of size 600x600 mm, resting on periphery walls /partitions on a Perimeter wall angle pre-coated steel of size 24x24X3000 mm made of 0.40 mm thick (minimum) sheet with the help of rawl plugs at 450 mm centre to centre with 25 mm long dry wall screws @ 230 mm interval and laying 15 mm thick densified edges calcium silicate ceiling tiles of approved texture in the grid, including, cutting/ making opening for services like diffusers, grills, light fittings, fixtures, smoke detectors etc., wherever required. Main ‘T’ runners to be suspended from ceiling using G.I. slotted cleats of size 25x35x1.6 mm fixed to ceiling with 12.5 mm dia and 50 mm long dash fasteners, 4 mm G.I. adjustable rods with galvanised steel level clips of size 85 x 30 x 0.8 mm, spaced at 1200 mm centre to centre along main ‘T’, bottom exposed with 24 mm of all T sections shall be pre-painted with polyster baked paint, for all heights, as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Note: Only calcium silicate false ceiling area will be measured from wall to wall. No deduction shall be made for exposed frames/opening (cut outs) having area less than 0.30 sqm. The calcium silicate ceiling tile shall have NRC value of 0.50 (Minimum), light reflection > 85%, non combustible as per B.S. 476 part IV, 100% humidity resistance and also having thermal conductivity <0.043 w/mK. (a) The rate shall include the cost for the followings: - i) Making suitable opening for light fixtures with 25 x 25 x 3mm all-roundaluminium angle fixed to false ceiling system and held in a position / level by 4 nos suspender at each corner and spring clip, the same shall be leveled in line and level of false ceiling. Rate includes cost of aluminium angle, clips rods anchor fastener, labour etc. ii) Providing and fixing trap door of false ceiling panel with frame out of 25x25x3mm angle / 25mm x 3mm flat and edge profile with suitable aluminium hinges for opening and closing including locking arrangement with all approved accessories, labour etc. (b) The false ceiling and vertical masking shall be measured in sqm in actually laid. The length and width shall be measured net between wall mould angles. No deduction for cut out and opening around column shall be made. The rate should be inclusive of all extra aluminium tees, angles, frame work around the cut out opening and lighting fixture, A/C grills, trap door etc. (c) The rate quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, labour, scaffolding and wastage etc. (d) The false ceiling shall be got done through the approved agency on prior approval of Engineer In Charge. (e) Vertical masking if any shall be measured under this item without any extra cost. (f) The entire grid system shall be designed to bear a distributed load of minimum 15 kg/sqm.

(iv) Payment shall be made per Kg. basis. Aluminium sections such as frame work/ aluminium grills etc. shall only be measured linearly as per actual/finish cutting size nearest to centimeter and multiplied with actual sectional weight of the individual section and the total quantity of aluminium section will be arrived at for payment without extra allowance for wastage. (v) No separate payment for fittings such as locking arrangement, hinges, fittings and fixtures, gasket, cleat , handles, push/pull plate etc. shall be made nor measured for payment, Tenderers are requested to consider the cost of all fittings, fixtures, locking arrangement cleat gasket, screws, hinges etc. while quoting the rate for unit weight for aluminum sections.

Providing and fixing galvalume toughened permanently colour coated roofing sheet of any size, shape & pattern for roofing, facia, gutter etc at all heights and locations of M/s. TATA BLUESCOPE or equivalent 0.5mm thick with special polyester colour coating thickness 20 microns (DFT) on exposed surface and 5 microns (DFT) on unexposed surface over 5 microns (DFT) of polyester primer on both surfaces in CRCA sheet of 550 Mpa with hot dip coating of 150 gms/sqm aluminium zinc alloy conforming to ASTM 792 M-02/AS 1397 all as per manufacturer’s specifications of approved shade and colour fixing to tubular truss/SHS/RHS/any other sections at all levels including placing and fixing in position, bending to shape, cost of all materials, labour, tools and plants required for completion of the work , all overlaps metering wherever necessary, including providing J hooks / metallic self drilling self tapping fasteners of M/s. ‘BUILDEX’ embossed as “BX” conforming to AS 3566 class III having neoprene / EPDM washer, sealing joints with neutral cure type sealants in order to make the roof leak proof all as per manufacturers code of practice including providing flashing, ridge etc. complete as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in –Charge.
Providing & fixing in position hydraulic double action stainless steel floor spring with 90° hold open (max door weight-120Kg) for door with a set of double pivots with outer case as per relevant IS and make M/s. HAFELE/DORMA or other equivalent including cutting pockets in concrete/MS floors, making good the surface to original finish etc. complete all as directed by the EIC.
Providing, fitting and fixing in position hydraulic door closer with 180° hold open (max door weight- 60Kg) for doors as per relevant IS-3564:1995(or latest) of M/s. Godrej/DORMA or other equivalent make at any location, level including all necessary fittings etc. complete all as directed by the EIC.
Providing & laying homogeneous PVC sheets conforming to IS 3462-86 of approved shade & pattern 1.5mm thick under brand “TUSKER” manufactured by M/s Responsive Limited or “ROBUST” brand of M/s WONDER FLOOR or other approved equivalent make, marble look, with 1.0mm thick hard wearing surface on flooring, skirting etc. cutting sheets (approx. 600mm X 600mm), preparing surface dry, filling gaps, pores etc. applying adhesive SR-998 or compatible adhesive for fixing on steel plate etc. as per manufacturer’s specification, to sub-base & sheet, laying sheets properly, closed jointed and finished to proper line, level slope, as required including rolling the finished floor by light hand roller as directed pressing sheets with suitable device, finishing cleaning, disposing of debris etc. all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
In flooring & skirting
Providing labours, tools, tackles etc. for removal of old paint, scraping carefully manually/mechanically, without damaging existing RCC/brick wall, removing loose scales, blisters etc. from old painted surface and thoroughly smoothening the surface to make the same suitable for receiving fresh coat of paint by scraping, sand papering and smoothening down the surface including stacking the debris and disposing off unserviceable materials outside VECC premises etc. all complete, as directed by the EIC.
Sealing joint at roof between brick masonary wall and concrete & other joint as required at all height & level with weatherproof neutral cure type silicon sealant of M/s. DOWCORNING make or other approved equivalent, to make the joint water proof including all labours tools & tackles etc. all complete as per manufacturer’s code of practice and as directed by EIC.
Supplying, Providing and fixing 9 mm thick high pressure steam cured fibre cement plain heavy duty board (density >1600 kg/M3 ) of M/S Everest or equivalent make conforming to IS 14862 : 2000 and type A category IV in between framework made by aluminium extruded sections cutting to size, filling grooves with suitable filler and jointing materials to provide flush finish, fixing to aluminium framework in best workmanship etc. complete and as directed.

Note: Job shall be got executed through manufacturer authorized vendor.
Supplying, providing and fixing of 50 mm thick Rockwool panels having density 64 kg / m3 conforming to IS- 8183/93 in between two layer of cement fibre boards, cutting to shape, planning in portion securely, including all necessary accessories, scaffolding etc. complete at any height level location etc. as directed by the EIC.
Providing and laying in wall surfaces at any height, level, location, matt finished, 1st quality ceramic tiles conforming to IS 13712 and tested as per IS 16360of approved shade and colour of maximum 300mm X 600 mm size as directed by the department, standard quality tiles of M/s. JOHNSON or other approved equivalent make, over 20mm thick cement mortar (1:3) backing. Close jointed and pointed with matching cement slurry, with white cement and / or pigment mix, finish to proper level and slope, plumb, including cutting of tiles, mitreing, curing, washing the surfaces neatly etc. all complete, including dismantling old damaged cast in situ mosaic wall surfaces / old tiled surfaces etc. or fixing on cast in situ existing mosaic / surfaces by tile adhesive conforming to IS15477 : 2004 (type 1 / type 2) under brand “TILOFIX” of M/s. SIKA or other approved equivalent after hacking the surfaces properly etc. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing 20mm thick granite slab of approved colour & shade, saw cut mirror polished, pre-moulded and pre-polished, machine cut of required size, laid over RCC kitchen slab 20 mm (av.) thick base of Cement mortar (1:2) laid with white cement slurry @ 4.4 kg / Sqm before placing granite, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish filling joints with pigmented cement putty to match with colour of granite etc. for kitchen platform / other area including dismantling old damaged black stone / kota stone / marble slab / granite kitchen slab etc all complete at all levels over RCC platform etc. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Area of each slab over 0.50 Sqm upto 2.00 Sqm. Tolerance on thickness may be allowed upto +/- 2 mm)
Supplying, fitting and fixing Stainless Steel railing consist of 38mm dia and 900mm height vertical balustrade at every two alternative steps, 50mm dia top rail, 3 (three) nos. 19mm dia horizontal Stainless steel pipe and base/cover plate with Stainless Steel GRADE 304 containing 7.5% nickel (Interior Grade) Brushed/Mat finish, complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Laying micro concrete over existing cement concrete pavement using Sikagrout 214 IN of M/s. Sika or Renderoc RG of M/s. Fosroc or approved equivalent in the ratio 2:1 (2 Sikagrout 214 IN or Renderoc RG : 1 Stone chips 6mm size) with heavy dash and uniformly to build concrete thickness in between 25 to 75 mm, applying a bond coat for old and new concrete bonding using latex of M/s. Sika or approved equivalent in cement slurry in the ratio 1:3:6 (1 Latex : 3 Water : 6 Cement) at any level, location, providing all manpower, tools, materials, shuttering & centering followed by proper curing etc. complete as per manufacturer’s recommendation and direction of EIC.

Repair of damaged/corroded RCC members etc. by carefully dismantling, chiseling all loose spalled and cracked concrete and plaster till exposing a hard firm surface at any height, level, location, cleaning reinforcement steel thoroughly tying new reinforcement of desired shape, inserting ends of bars in drilled holes of required size up to a minimum depth of 10(ten) times of the bar in concrete duly grouted with epoxy mortar or as directed, if found necessary de-rusting with sand/emery paper including chemical cleaning with “Rustolin” or equivalent, washing with water jet, applying anticorrosive polymer modified protective coating “Sika Rustop” of M/s. Sika or approved equivalent as per manufacturer’s recommendation by bard brush on exposed clean and dry reinforcement steel, allowing 24 hours time gap for drying and curing, applying a bond coat for old and new concrete bonding using latex of M/s. Sika or approved equivalent in cement slurry in the ratio 1:3 (1 Latex : 3 Water) or as directed by the department uniformly on concrete surface including steel, laying concrete 1:1.5:3 (1 Cement : 1.5 Sand : 3 Stone chips 6mm size) with heavy dash and uniformly to build concrete thickness in between 35 to 60 mm made with plasticizer cum waterproofing admixture like Sika Plastocrete Super @2% by weight of cement or equivalent on columns, beams, chajjas, slabs, facia etc. including leveling up with cement plaster (1:4) over a coat of cement slurry mixed with latex in water in the ratio 1:6 (1 Latex : 6 Water) or approved equivalent up to a thickness of 15 mm finished to level, plumb making drip moulds, vatas, corners etc. to match with existing at any level, location, providing all manpower, tools, materials etc. followed by proper curing etc. complete as per manufacturer’s recommendation and direction of EIC.
Supply, providing and laying standard four course bituminous water proofing treatment on flat/ sloped roof made of RCC or cement fibre sheet/ G.I. sheet etc. at any height or level as per specifications laid down in IS:1346-1991, to be finished with pea size gravel including necessary preparation works such as shaping the mouth of outlets, cutting as and where necessary and refilling them with cement mortar (1:4) or cement concrete (1:2:4) before doing the treatment complete in all respects as per direction of the EIC including cost of all labours and materials (In sloped roof coarse sand is to be used in place of pea size gravel as fourth and final coarse.) 1st layer of bonding material (hot bitumen 30/40 grade conforming to IS:73-1992) applied @1.2 Kg/Sqm. 2nd layer of roofing hessian based felt type-III, grade-I conforming to IS:1322-1993 of M/s. Gladstone/ Shalimar or other approved equivalent make (weighing not less than 23 Kg/10 Sqm) 3rd layer of bonding material (hot bitumen of grade 30/40 conforming to IS:73-1992) applied @1.2 Kg/Sqm as per ISI specifications. 4th layer of pea size gravel or grit @ 0.006 Cum/Sqm Note: The agency executing the work has to provide guarantee for 1(one) year in appendix “D” counted from the date of completion/ handing over of the work.
Painting two or more coats of Aluminium Paint of 1st quality and approved make using spray/by brush, on metal surface over a coat of metal red oxide zinc chromate primer, including through surface preparation by mechanical grinding, removing & cleaning of all rust, dust etc. filling up of dents, cracks with suitable putty etc. all complete at any height and level location including providing necessary scaffolding etc. all complete as directed by the EIC.
Rendering the surface of wall / ceiling with white cement based wall putty of approved make and brand (1.5 mm thick) for making the surfaces with smooth finish including with necessary cleaning of floor etc. complete as directed by the EIC.
Providing labour, tools, tackles for careful removal of existing corrugated cement fibre sheet in roofing built with J hooks, bolts, nuts & other accessories viz. GI plain washer, and bitumen washer, providing necessary scaffolding etc. at all level, location including stacking of serviceable cement fibre sheets at suitable location inside the campus (within 50 meters) and disposed off damaged sheets outside VECC, all leads etc. all complete at all level and locations as directed by the EIC. N.B.: Contractor shall include cost of stacking & disposing off sheets in the quoted rate.
Supplying, providing and fixing in position Corrugated cement fibre sheets, 6mm thick of M/s. Everest or approved equivalent conforming to IS:459-1992 and IS marked in roofing at all level and location laid with a side lap of one corrugation and at end lap of 150mm wiith overhang of 300mmm (maximum), mitering, cutting sheets as required, providing 8mm diameter heavy quality galvanized MS “J” hooks, bolts, nuts, GI plain washer and bitumen washer, providing necessary scaffolding etc. complete for the following sub-items:-

Providing & fixing in position GI chicken wire mesh (hexagonal shape) of 12mm size mesh, 20 gauge with necessary U hooks, clips or nails at all floors and making drilled holes @300 c/c on RCC/ masonary wall, filling holes with suitable materials as directed, wherever required to prevent development of cracks in plaster surfaces, including dismantling of plaster in geometrical shape/straight line to expose the cracked portion at an approx.. width of 150mm on both sides of crack as per specificati0ons, drawings and as directed by the EIC. Note: 1) Only area of chicken wire mesh provided shall be measures for payment. 2) Approximate width of plaster to be removed 300mm wide along the crack. Vendor should quote rate inclusive of removal of plaster. 3) Finishing work like plastering, application of putty, painting etc. will be paid in relevant item.
