Petty Works of pontoons at PWBB

Lifting and relaying of Flood /anchor chain of PWBB jetty for realignment of the jetty including supply of a pontoon mounted crane along with a launch for its movement including towing of the crane from Kolkata and returning to Kolkata. The rate is inclusive of all tools, plants, equipment’s, fuel, labourers, operator etc. all complete.

Moorings of pontoon to be loosened and or tightened for proper realignment of the Jetty, complete with all labourers, tools, tackles, equipment’s etc. complete.

Removing the short gangway and replacing the same in position after repairs/ replacement of supporting structures (shaft and brackets on cradle pontoon (repair/ replacement of supporting structures to be paid separately ).

Supplying, fitting & fixing bolts with nuts, washers 10 mm to 16 mm dia length above 75mm and upto150 mm.

M.S. structural works in horizontal and vertical members of dolphin , cradle supporting structure, gangway etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. plate , joists, angle, channel sections etc) conforming to IS: 2062, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 as per existing design, direction of Engineer , complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1956 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 1957, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hires charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental charges such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc. Payment to be made on the basis of calculated weight of structural members only in finished work as per IS specified weight. Payment for gusset, bracket, cleat shall be made as per actual measurement. The rates are considered for a height of erection + 8 meter from existing jetty level

Taking out damaged M.S. shaft, 80 mm dia x 3 Mtr long and brackets consisting of 12 mm. thick plates, 600 mm x 600 mm. (2 nos.) carefully and providing, fabricating, fixing and welding at site new M.S. shaft, 80 mm. dia. X 3 Mtr long and brackets, as directed, all complete.

Dismantling including dismembering old M.S. works in joists, channels , bollards , fairlead , runners , bracings , plates , angles etc including cutting rusty bolts and nuts etc. from damaged structure , stacking the materials within 150 Mtr of site.
