M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx3.15mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to and including copper earth strip 20x3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion and excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 in chamber, precast RCC cover 50mm thick in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) with cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade watering pipe, lugs, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade protection pipe upto 7.5m as directed. NOTE :- The rate of above Item includes the cost of earth lead and GI protection pipe up to 7.5 Metres. Copper strip beyond 7.5 Metre shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L of bore earthing in any type of soil,150 mm dia buried by DTH boring machine, depth 50 mtr below ground level using earth electrode 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade 49 mtr duly drilled hole of 12mm dia,15cm c/c on both side of the pipe including lowering in bore well upto the depth of 49mtr and one metre above the ground level. The pipe electrode should be filled around commercial salt, charcoal dust, copper sulphate and magnisium phosphate of 30 cm layer each upto the full length of pipe. The bore well should have 12 metre of length 150mm dia MS pipe for protection of bore well. Welding of GI strip 50x6 mm on earth electrode GI pipe 50mm dia upto the 10 metre below ground level and 15 metre from the bore well to test point gun metal and PCC foundation surrounding the bore well 60x60x30 cm, necessary water connection by GI steel tubing 15 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25m below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to and including GI earth strip 32mm x 6 mm, by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer etc, made of GI and connected to test point and earth dolly all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 SSR Part-I 2009 and specified or indicated including excavation and earthwork in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) Type C1 in chamber, precast RCC 50 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (Weight not less than 4.00 Kg/Square metre) with cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, 20mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, lugs, 40 mm bore medium grade GI protection pipe, test point etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- The rate of above Item includes the cost of earth lead and GI protection pipe up to 7.5 Metres. GI strip beyond 7.5 Metre shall be measured and paid for separately.

Material and labour for chemical earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 900mm x 600mm x 5mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 4m below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 2.25m below ground level connected to and including copper strip of size 50x 6 mm by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer etc, made of copper and connected to test point and earth dolly all as shown in electrical plate No. 03 SSR Part-I 2009 and specified or indicated including providing charcoal dust 1000 Kgs, common salt 500 Kg, magnesium Sulphate 150 Kgs and all around the plate 15 CM depth RCC 50 mm thick in cement and wide and upto 650 mm height in continuous layers, balance pit will be filled with vegetable soil upto ground level including excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) Type C1 in chamber, precast concrete (1:2:4) type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (Weight not less than 4.00 Kg/Square meter) cover with cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, 80mm bore light grade GI watering pipe, lugs, 80mm bore light grade GI protection pipe upto 7.5 metre etc. complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- The rate of above Item includes the cost of earth lead and GI protection pipe up to 7.5 Metres. Copper strip beyond 7.5 Metre shall be measured and paid for separately.

S&F in replacement of 35 sqmm multistranded flexible copper conductor including suitable mounting accessories fixed in position as directed. The mounting clamp should be of non conductive metarial used in earthing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix in replacement of test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screws with all accessories complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fix in replacement of single pointed air termination aluminium rod 12mm dia, 300 mm long complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of GI pipe medium grade for air termination rod of size 40 mm dia upto 3.0 mtr long complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down existing aluminium strips and S&F Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down existing copper strips and S&F copper strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F copper strip 32x6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down existing GI strips and S&F GI strip 32x6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC block of size 150x150x300mm made up of PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 Blocks for fixing/ mounting of running earthing conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of kota stone earth pit cover (2x2 feet) 20 to 25 mm thick complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

S&F GI pipe 15 mm bore medium grade fixed on walls/ laid in trenches including necessary fittings complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F gate valve including fittings 15 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F self closing tap of cast iron or malleable cast iron, Galvanised, screwed for iron pipe and fixed 15mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of existing steel tubing for alteration or additions of size 15 mm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of Seprator U type made of porcelene, used for Earth strip mounting with all nut bolts and connecting accessories complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of PVC/rubber pipe/sleeve for protection of earth strip and insulation purpose complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement for installation of earth notice plate of size 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures i.e. pit number, connected to, tested date, ohmic value as per direction by EIC fixed beside earthing pit with GI stand of approved size complete all as specified and directed.
