KPWD Registration Details

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Tenderers Banker Details

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non accessibility of KPP Portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

The intending bidders are advised upload Site Inspection Certificate certified by concerned Assistant Executive Engineer.

The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Corrigendum will be published in the KPP Portal for all modifications / corrections if any.

The conditional tender will be rejected.

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 01-01-2007 and Government letter no PW/134 /BMS/2007 dated 27-07-2007 a sum amounting to 1 percent of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund.

If the date of opening of bid is subsequently declared as General Holiday, the bid will be opened on the Next working day.

Any bidder who is otherwise Technically qualified withdraws from the bidding process at any stage before a final decision is taken on the tender either by not producing the original documents for verification or for any other reason the EMD of such bidder shall be forfeited, the name of such bidder shall be removed from the category list of contractors at least for a minimum period of one year in KNNL, besides making such bidders liable for blacklisting.

If the water is let our in the canal for the purpose of drinking to the villages on downstream of work spot of main canal the contractor should make his own arrangement to let out canal water either by diversion or by lifting or by any other means to release the works on downstream side of work spot no extra payment will be made for this item.

Bids submitted by all bidders in the process of bid evaluation will be opened even if, the bidder withdraws from the bidding process by not submitting the original documents for verification or for any other reason and the prices quoted by them will be looked into to ascertain if there is collusion amongst the bidders to determine the competitiveness of the L1 price quoted by other bidders, as per the decision by the KNNL Board.

The bidder should only submit/upload in Kppp portal platform genuine certificates/ documents, etc., that are as obtained from competent/concerned authorities against each required eligible criteria. Any of the submitted/uploaded certificates/documents etc., found to be fake after verification from issuing authority, then his/her EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) will be forfeited, besides making such bidders are liable for blacklisting.

Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of contract price.

e-Bank Guarantee performance security shall be provided with surety bond issued by the insurance company authorized by Insurance regulatory and development authorized of india. (As per Govt order FD 994 Exp-12/2024, dtd: 03.04.2025)

Maintenance period or the defect liability period for this work is 12 months from the date of completion of work.

Topographical errors, if any, will not be the ground for any claims by the contractor.
