Supplying , installation, testing and commissioning of RMU 3 way HT 11 KV Outdoor type,21 KA for 3 sec, rated voltage-12KV, operation voltage-11 KV, rated lightning withstand voltage - 75 KV, rated frequency - 50Hz, 630 amp copper busbar SF6 insulated non extensible compact switch gear consisting of two nos fixed motorised load break switch (LBS) and one nos fixed motorised Vaccum circuit breaker (VCB) in SF-6 gas insulated, welded, stainless steel enclosed with minimum 2.5 mm thickness totally enclosed Ring Main Unit IP-67 protection with self powered microprocessor based complete numerical over current & earth fault relay comprising of the following specification/equipment :- (a) The circuit breaker and earthing switch shall be lockable in the open or closed position by suitable number of padlocks of suitable size . (b) Inter panel barrier to prevent arc propagation fron one panel/compartment to other. (c) Earthing switch rated for full making capacity with provision for safe & reliable position indicator. (d) Isolating plug. (e) Vaccum circuit breaker unit insulated in SF6 media shall comprising the following : (i) Assembly of VCB interrupter complete with epoxy supprt insulator and self alligning isolating contacts with rating 11KV 630 amps ,21 KA for 3sec , 50 Hz. (ii) Manual charged and manual operated independent closing / triping, trip free operating mechanism and breaker closed/open, spring charge/discharge indication. (iii) Mechanical operation counter-02No (iv) One bus bar chamber including a set of 3 phase 630 amps copper bus bar. (v) Strip heater 230 volts AC single phase 80 watt. (vi) Current transformer chamber comprising of 3 nos single phase resin cst CT's of 100-50/5 and accuracy class 0.5 for metering and class 5P10 for protection in all outgoing VCB feeder - set of 3 (f) One no potential transformer(PT) three phase, dry type ( resin cast) draw out type 11kv/110 volts, 100VA burden, accuarcy class 0.5 with HT & LT HRC fuses for primary and secondary complete as per IS-3156- 01 no. (g) SCADA Self powered solid state numerical O/C & E/F relay for complete protection of HT,11KV,three phase feeder having facility to record fault current with date & time with suitable communication port as approved by GE- 01 nos (h) Arc flash supervision of circuit breaker,cable and busbar compartment. (j) Digital SCADA compatible intelligent panel meter indicating line/phase current, line/phase voltage, power factor, KVAR,KVA, frequency etc with accuracy class 0.5 for all outgoing feeder of RMU-03 Nos. Make : QUASAR of L&T /equivalent of Schneider. (k) One set of indication lamp(LED) type for ON/OFF indication in all LBS/VCB. (l) One set of indication lamp (LED) type for spring charging and three nos indication lamp for RYB phase indication in all LBS/VCB. NOTE:- (i) All foundation works for RMU as per manufacturer recommendation for the installation shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates incl Excavation work & PCC Work. (iii) Contractor shall submit detailed drawings with specification of the RMU and get necessary approval before placing final order to the manufacturer. (iv) All outgoing / incoming existing HT cable of any size drawing / digging out cable from loops in trenches inclusive of necessary excavation and earthwork as required and relaying the cables shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iv) Any item missed out above but is technically required for safe and proper operation of equipment shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (v) The material will be purchased only through manufacturing company. Make : ABB/Schenider/Simens/Crompton Greaves/Areva.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing in trenches or passing through pipe, 11000 volts grade, XLPE insulated PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured HT electric power UG cables, heavy duty with stranded aluminium conductor of cross sectional area of size 3 core 95 sq mm with and including all fixing & connecting accessories such as Alluminium cable lugs, cable gland, nut, bolts, washer etc complete as specified and as directed. (Make: Havells/KEI / POLYCAB/RR Kable/Gloster cable) NOTE : Specification of cable shall be as under:- (a) Inner sheathing shall be of extruded PVC. (b) Cable shall also be supplied with sequences hall marking at every metre on the luner sheathing. (c) Ultra violet radiation resistance compounded comprising to ASRM-2863 flame netarded as per EIV specification. (d) Anti rodent and antitermite compound added. (e) PVC compounds of various grades as IS-5831. (f) Compaction conductors shall be shaped and arrangement to the same will be on the cable. (NOTE: Earthwork & Excavation, GI pipe, bricks for protection etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule 'A').

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc. 1.5 metre wide and not exc. 1.5 metre in depth and getting out for taking up / laying under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling watering and well rammming in layers not exceeding 25 cms in depth complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay dry river sand filling for under ground cable protection with a layer of 8cm deep before laying and 15cm covering above the top edge of cable after laying complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type-I flat of size 300x180x40mm for protection of HT UG cable. Complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for horizontal boring across the existing road without disturbing the road surface for inserting GI pipe complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Removal of surplus soil shall be deemed to be include in the unit Rate. (ii) GI pipe will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch 'A'.

M&L 80 mm bore steel tubing light grade ISI marked for protection of cable including necessary joints complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Tata/Jindal/Bansal

Dismantling and taking out four pole structure consisting of any size and decription from sub stations and deposit to MES store yard complete all as speccified and as directed. Note: Transpotation charges shall be deemed to be include in this unit rate.

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing cable End jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable, for indoor termination cold shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 3 Core 95 sqmm complete all as specified. Make: Denson/Raychem/3M

Supply & fixing in repairs for 32 x 6 mm galvanised iron strip,earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or fixed to poles or roof with saddel and screw current complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast cable route indicator of size 100x30x10 Cms by using 20 mm graded aggregate type B1 1;2;4 for cable indicator and engraving as "HT CABLE" slightly round from one side incl Red painting with two coat of synthetci enamel paint of a coat of primer complete all as specified & directed

M&L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or of steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I 2009 connected to pole/LT Panel all as specified and testing on completion including. Necessary excavation, earthwork, PCC works and CI earth pit cover with watering pipe 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade, funnel with wire mesh and lugs and GI pipe 40 mm dia of light grade, for protection of earth strip complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation/PCC/Earth work/Charcoal/ Salt shall be deemed to be include in this unit rate.
