Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus un-useful material to acquired width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/or labour if required. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. A recovery of useful stone for 1632.03cum (One thousand six hundred thirty two decimal zero three ) cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis in each running bill from this item. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation retaining walls, breast walls and like substructures etcetra complete as per drawings nominal mix 1:5:10 (One cement : five sand : Ten graded crushed stone aggregate) 40mm (Forty millimetre) nominal size including cost of form work and curing complete without plum as per HPPWD specification complete in all respect including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Back filling behind abutment , wing walls and return walls complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification Clause 1204.3.8. with Granular Material and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing weep holes in brick masonry / Stone masonry / plain/reinforced concrete in retaining walls, breast walls and the like with 110mm ( One hundred ten ) dia PVC pipe Finolex/ Supreme having pressure not less than 4.00 Kg/Cm² ( four kilogramm ) per centimetre square extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1(V):20(H) ( one vertical : twenty horizontal ) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 614,709,1204.3.7 in all leads and lifts and carriage of material by all modes of transportation as per the direction of Engineer- in-chrage. Construction of precast RCC railing of M25 (twenty five) cast -in-situ Grade, Using Ordinary Portland Cement with 20 mm nominal size aggregate true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500 (one in five hundred), centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000 mm (two thousand milimeters), leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion, complete as per approved drawings and technical specifications and reference to MORT&H specification 2703, 1500, 1600 & 1700 including the cost of form work and curing complete including entire carriage of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber(earth work for the cutting involved for sub grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD. Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc.with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific sizes 63-45mm (Sixty three to forty five millimetres) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (eighty by hundred Kilo Newton) in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-II by mechanical means as per MORD technical Specification Clause 405 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen Emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.70 to 1.00kg/sqm (Zero point seven zero to one point zero kilogram per square metre ) using mechanical means as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 502 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 Kg to 0.30 Kg per sqm (Zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogram) per square metre on prepared granular surface erected with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per MORD technical specification clause 503 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and fixing of typical NABARD informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm (One point six millimetre) thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron( TATA/SAIL) 25mm x 5m (Twenty five millimetre into five metre) size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mmx5mm (Twenty five into twenty five into five millimetre).
