SPECIAL REPAIR REPLACEMENT RE-ROUTING OF HT OVERHEAD CONDUCTORS UG CABLES AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS AT MILITARY STATION DHARAMSHALA

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not execeeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

All as per serial item No. 01 here-in-before but depth exceeding 1.5 metre but not exceeding 3.0 metre, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Sand cushioning to underground cables with a layer of sand 8cm before laying the cable and 15cm after lying the cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Sub class 'B' brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brick complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing excavated surplus material to a distance n.exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above starting point complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain Cement concrete, 100 mm thick, M-7.5, type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in bottom of pit for bed concrete of poles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain Cement concrete, M-10, type C-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as spcified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Plain Cement concrete, M-7.5, type B-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in coping for poles etc complete all as spcified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Replacement of existing unserviceable air break gang operated switch with insulators our door type, triple pole, mounted on 15 insulators, mechanically operated, suitable for vertical installation, single break provided with locking arrangement, consisting of MS channel, HT post type insulator contacts of copper alloy, high pressure heavy duty contact assembly operating rod 20mm dia GI pipe, medium grade, complete including drop out fuses conforming to IS-1818 rated voltage 11 KV and for current rating 200 Amp including taking down old GOD of any type, shape and size and removing from site complete all as spcified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Lightening arrestor (set of three) expulsion type complete with all fittings, set of transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amps suitable for 11000 volts including taking down old three arrestors of any type, shape and size and removing from site complete all as spcified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.3mm thick buried directly in ground(earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below the normal ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below the normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, washers, check nuts of galvanised iron or steel including test point PCC pits and RCC cover in PCC 1:2:4 (type B-1) including iron angle frame 40x40x6mm and medium grade GI watering pipe 20mm dia with funnel and wire mesh and 15 mm bore GI pipe light grade proection pipe including excavation and charcoal ,common salt surrounded with 15cm all around the plate complete all as specified and shown in EP-3 of SSR Part-I & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Structural steel work (in replacement) as in cross arms bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed by Engr-in-Charge and applying one coat of primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Labour only for removal of existing broken PCC pole in the enrooted of the existing LT/HT line where span is nore than 50 metre complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (i) It will be contractor own responsibility to take necessary precautions to avoid any acident. (ii) Broken pole shall be buried in situ after making necessary trench not exceeding 30cm depth and width at no extra cost.

Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial tapper plug, bolts, nuts and screws, type 410 SP-31 (9.00 metres long), erected to truely vertical position including two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer and marking 30cm wide strips 5 Nos with white and black paint alternately on external surface above PCC benching/ ground level including making pole identification number and figure with synthetic enamel paint of Ist quality and painting with bitumineous paint internally and externally for portion embedded in PCC, including taking down old poles of any type and removing from site, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and straining of ACSR conductor of any size on HT/LT overhead line including necessary binding work, jumpering, maintaining proper sag as per IE Rule including cutting of tree branches upto 2metres around the ACSR conductors with in area of 5 Mtr dia, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Re-stretching of ACSR conductor and earth wire of any size and type onHT/ LT poles including disconnection and re-binding with insulators with suitable size of binding wire after re-stretching, connecting jumpers, adjusting line dividers etc and cutting/ trimming of tree branches upto 2 metres clear distance from ACSR conductors, complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Painting to existing steel tubular LT poles, 9/11m long including cross arms, channels, angle iron support, bracings, clamps etc. with two coats of aluminium paint superior quality of approved make on surface expose to view and making 30 cm wide strips (total 5 Nos) with white and black paint alternatively on external surface above PCC benching including prepration of old painted surface by scraping complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Replacement of exisitng unserviceable Disc type insulator, procelain, vitreous 145mm high and 255 dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green Two-in-series assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors working pressure 11000 volts all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Replacement of exisitng unserviceable shackle type insulators, procelain, vitreous, white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts of 90mm dia and 75 mm height ,including galvanised mild steel strips of 31 x3mm size including 12mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts , including taking down old insulators of any type , shape and size and removing from site, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Galvanised steel wire 4mm dia to earth wire ( in replacement) on HTLT poles for fabrication of cradles hexagonal/ rectangular guards out of galvanised steel wire 4mm dia etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply, laying, jointing, fixing or passing through pipe, trenches or ducts, commissioning and testing XLPE insulated screened and PVC sheathed armoured electric power LT cable heavy duty with aluminium conductor nominal cross sectional area 25 Sqmm 3.5 core for working voltage upto including 1100 volts conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I) 1988 (Compaction Conductors shall be shaped and arrangement for the same shall be on the cable), including taking out existing cables, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge and as directed.

Replacement of existing unserviceable SVL/HPSV fittings with new generation energy saving & environmental friendly, long life, LED street light fittings, 30 watt, made upto pressure die cast aluminium housing with high power LED as lighting source and lense embedded PC cover having top opening separate driver compartment with IP 66 protection & impact resistance of IK 07 with 10KV built in surge protection device including GI bracket of 40mm bore pipe,1.5 mtr long, bent to shape required as per site and making neccessry connection with 2.5 sqmm copper wire from fitting to pole box, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make : Havells/ Bajaj/ Wipro/CG.

Shifting/re-routing of LT steel tubular poles alongwith base plate, tapper plug including insulators, over head conductors including excavation and PCC, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: The contractor shall be fully responsible for any breaking/damaging of pole during shifting and the borkened poles shall be replaced by him with new one without any extra cost.

Replacement of existing unserviceable Stay assembly using stay rod of 20mm dia, 180cm long complete with accessories as shown in Electrical plate No 1 of SSR 2009 Part - I including galvanized steel stranded wire of size 7/ 4mm, stay bows, loop type insulator of size 65x90mm, including taking down existing stay complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- loop type insulator, earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items .

Replacement of existing unserviceable loop type insulators,procelain, vitreous, white, brown or green large size with over all dimensions 90 x 140mm clearance of hole 25.5mm for working pressure 1100 volts bolts including taking down old insulators of any type, shape and size and removing from site, complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting of existing road/floor/plinth/drain for taking out/laying of UG cable through GI pipe including necessary earth work, excavation and making good to match with existing surface with PCC M-10, type C1 ( using 20mm graded stone aggregates ) complete all as specified complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Timer switch box, fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA sheet with mounting and locking arrangement, duly powder coated including grouting in PCC, M-7.5 ( 30 cm below ground level and 30 cm above ground level ) complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge and consisting of following :- (a) Timer Make: L&T/Havells - 01 No (b) Power contactor 100 Amps, FP Make: L&T/Havells - 01 No. (c) Connector, 100 amps, 415 volts - 03 Nos. (d) MCCB, FP 100 amps, 451 volts - 01 Nos. (e) Control fuse, 10 amps - 01 Nos

Replacement of existing unserviceable GI tubing, light grade 40mm bore for passing through cables under the floor, along the wall or along the pole complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
