Providing water proofing treatment on slabs of R-type quarters and Mangalore roof tiles of D-type quarters in Hsl Colony

Provide and lay water proofing treatment over the roof slab consisting of: (i) removing the damged top layer of concrete and cleaning of roof slab (ii) Repairing of all surface cracks wider than 3mm with polymer modified mortar prepared with Sikatop 77 acrylic polymer or equivalent of Fosroc make. (iii) Providing and laying cement plaster in CM 1:6 for (where ever required to cover the undulations of slab surface) duly admixed with Sika Plastocrete Super or equivalent in fosroc make @ 0.2% by weight of cement, over a bond coat of Sika Latex Cement Slurry to make the surface smooth and even (iv) Application of priming coat of compatible bituminous primer Sika WP Shield Primer W @ 0.30 kg per sqm over the cleaned and prepared roof surface complete as per satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (v) Providing and laying STP (Shalimar) or Sika make Atactic Polypropylene Polymer (APP) modified prefabricated waterproofing membrane with thermal fusible properties on both side and having minimum thickness of 3.0mm and unit weight not less than 4.0 kg/sqm reinforced with non woven spun bonded polyester reinforcement @ 160 gm / sqm, <-50oC cold flexibility. The layer of the membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints properly, leaving no bare edge or end of APP membrane and finishing the surface with trowel or otherwise to obtain a uniform surface. The minimum side lap and end lap shall be kept at 75mm and 100 mm respectively. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane after necessary surface preparatory works such as cleaning the surface thoroughly, shaping mouths of outlets and shall be finished in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (vi) Applying two coats of aluminium paint over the surface to protect from sun rays etc., complete

Providing and lay water proofing treatment consisting of: (i) removing the old dagamed bituminous layer if any (ii) Provide and level the mangalore tiles if required (tiles issued free by HSL) (iii) Application of Shalibond CS at 0.7Kg/Sq.M, cold bituminous adhesive for fixing waterproofing membrane (iv) Providing and laying STP (Shalimar) or Sika Atactic Ploypropylene Polyme (APP) modified layer prefabricated waterfproofing membrane having minimum thickness 1.50mm. Finishing the surface with trowel or otherwise to obtain a uniform surface. The minimum side lap and end lap shall be kept at 75mm and 100mm respectively (v) Application of aluminum paint in two coats over the surface to protect from direct exposure of SUN etc., Complete all as directed.
