Steel Plate replacement ( Frame O to 70) (i) Bottom Plate (ii) Side Plate (iii) Aft & Front Plate (iv) Main Deck Plate (v) Super Structure deck (1 & 2 ) plate (vi) weather deck (vii) Machinery Space 1. All plate to be checked for thickness via ultrasonic gauging technique and same to be degutted, cropped and replaced, as per the IRS class rule. Engine room entrance top roof require to be repaired if damaged. 2. Engine room ventilation trouncing stbd side DG set damage required to be repair.

Propulsion Engine (i) Port side main engine (ii) STBD side main engine (iii) U-J cross and coupling Complete overhauling (Testing of cylinder, liner, Crank shaft, connecting rod and all connected fitments including Electrical, gear box with U J cross , coupling system and radiators required to be renewal.( Radiator opening door required to be repair as per requirement at the time of dry dock) both main engine require to be repair from OEM.

HRP System ( 2 Nos) (i) 360 degree rotation (ii) HRP gear box repair (iii) Electric panel wiring of wheelhouse (iv) Hydraulic pump of HRP System Overhauling of HRP unit and all connected equipment’s to be carried out and operation trial to be conducted after completion of repair. Further electronic panel (PCB) alongside main engine to be checked for its functionality and servicing to be done after filling of new Hydraulic and Gear oil. Both HRP require to be repaired from OEM.

Diesel Generator Set (Port &Stbd) (i) Diesel engine (Port &Stbd) (ii) Repair of main switch board & circuit breaker (iii) Servicing of alternator Complete overhauling of diesel engine and servicing of alternator. Further power output, Frequency, voltage of alternator to be checked and servicing accordingly as per OEM.

Air Condition system ( total -18 Nos required) 12 Nos new split ACs (06 nos 1.5 Ton and 06 nos 2 Ton) to be installed 1.5 Ton:- VIP Cabin 1- 01 No., VIP Cabin 2- 01 No, SOs Cabin – 01 No, Caption Cabin – 01 No, Officer Dining Cabin – 01 , So,s Mess -01 No 02 Ton:- Crew Cabin – 04 Nos, Jawan Dining Room-02Nos, Vessel Master Store – 01 No., Vessel Engine Driver Store- 01 No., Wheel House – 03 Nos. , Kote 01 No. 06 Nos. Split ACs already existed in FBOP required to be serviced and 12 Nos new ACs. required to be fitted/installed newly 1. Installation of 12 No split ACs (06 nos 1.5 Ton and 06 nos 2 Ton) to be installed 2. Suitable arrangement is required to be mounted in FBOP for drain of split AC water directly in river/sea 3. During previously dry dock of other FBOPs, it seen that water entered in Cabin through cooling pipe line of split ACs. Hence proper water tight provision required to be provided during dry dock to avoid such type of water leakage in cabins wherever split ACs are installed in FBOP.

Mast Repair Work (i) Main mast bottom support in Members, brackets, arm repair. (ii) Antenna’s base (Radar, GPS, Navigation light, Flag post, search Light (iii) Electrical conduits. All navigational antenna’s foundation to be repair, provision/mechanism for foldable mast manually (hand operate gear) system to be installed. Further electrical cable conduit to be provided. If possible, then reduce the length of search light and other equipment fitted on monkey deck except navigation mast.

Navigation equipment’s (i) Radar (ii) Magnetic compass (iii) Echo sounder (iv) Barometer (v) Navigational lights (vi) GPS (vii) Ship flags All the navigational equipment’s to be serviced. Navigational lights to be made functional.(including mast light )

Glass fittings & rubber packing (i) Windows of all cabins (ii) Wheel House wind screen (iii) Water tight Hatches (iv) Scuttles and doors Rubber gasket of water tight hatches, damaged scuttles glasses, doors windows to be replaced. Hatches opening retainer clips and locking to be renewed . 1. Fixed type windows of main deck cabins are required to be open type beyond outer side.

Valve and pipelines. (i) Fresh water line (ii) Sewage water line (iii) Fuel line (iv) All sea chest/sea water line (v) Bilge system valve (vi) Over head tank lines (vii) Fire fighting lines (viii) Air vent pipe ,head & sounding Pipe (ix) Scuppers and discharge line (x) Galley drain pipe All the pipes and valves installed on board vessel to be replaced (as per IRS class rule) after examination and pressure tested for proper operation during trial. Sewage tank to be cleaned and painted, alarm system, sewage pump, starter switch and electrical panel to be repaired as per IRS class rule.

Galley --Galley floor tiles to be renewed, steel platform and steel rake and other galley equipment to be renewed .Electrical cooking coil system to be made fully serviceable.

Pump and Motors (i) Diesel & Petrol pump (ii) Fresh water pump (iii) Fire/Bilge pump (iv) Sewage pump (v) DD fire pump (vi) Engine room exhaust blower (vii) Toilet/bathroom pump (viii) Davit Motor (ix) Fuel transfer pump (x) Wiper Rotary Motor (xi) Anchor Motors All motor and pumps to be examined, service to be carried out as per condition of motor/pumps. 1. One additional 1.5 HP motor with pump and 25 Mtrs high pressure pipe is required to be provided for flushing of OBMs fitted in Fast Patrol Boats.

Davits and boat cradles—04 Nos (i) Davit wire (ii) Fast patrol boat stowage cradles Complete servicing of davits along with fitments (planetary gear, davit arm, electromagnetic brake, foundation, limit switches etc),and load bearing test during trials. Further FPB stowage cradles neoprene rubber covering to be replaced. Modification required to be carried in boat cradle to maintain the space management.

Other on board internal fitment (i) Anchoring fitting (ii) Bollard and Cleats (iii) Anchor winch and chain/cable/rollers/dead man roller/swivel assy (iv) Anchor and anchor rope (v) Break lining of winch (vi) Anchors stowage frame All fitments to be examined for wear and tear and repair to be done as per their functional requirement. Provision of 03 no anchor on the ship , presently 02 nos anchor available on the ship, condition of 02 no anchor weight and Arm rest pin play to be check and replace if beyond permissible limit. One no new anchor to be provided aft side of the ship. Swivel assy should be good quality material of sufficient strength.

Painting work (i) Under water surface of hull (ii) All tanks (Internal/external) (iii) External hull and deck (iv) All machinery and equipment, fitments De-rusting and sand blasting as per marine practice and painting of all cabins, engines, decks mounting, fitments, equipment (pump, motor, on board external fitments) with proper marking and colour coding. Good quality marine grade paint should be used

Batteries (a) Main Engine (b) DG set (c) Emergency light All batteries on board vessel to be replaced. Battery box to be provided of FRP materiel. Note :- Tubular batteries of reputed firm required to be provided for emergency light with FRP Covered Box .

Life saving appliances/equipment’s (i) All life buoy/life line (ii) Life Jackets with attachment (iii) Buoyant apparatus (iv) Ship distress signal (v) Life rafts All life saving appliances/equipment’s as per chart plan available on board vessel to be replaced with new.

Intercom system--Intercom system to be serviced. PA system from wheel house to all cabins and deck to be examined for its functionality. Note: - Audio visual telephonic unit required to be renewed.

Fire Fighting appliance/rescue signal appliance. (i) Portable fire extinguisher (ii) Fire hoses, fire hydrant/ jet spray nozzle All fire fighting appliances as per chart plan available on board vessel to be replaced with new. Note: - MS fire box installed at vessel is required to be replaced with fibre box to avoid rusting in later stage.

Bathroom & cabin (i) Dining halls (ii) Living cabins (iii) Buson& provision store (iv) Deep freezer Room All Bath room and other store floor tiles to be renewed and side wall panelling/fitting/linoleum sheet area to be replaced with new. Further mirror in all bathroom and living cabin to be provided. All cabin furniture to be renewed. Jet system or hand shower should be provided in each bath room .

Miscellaneous (External fitments) (i) Embarkation ladder ( 2 nos)-- To be replaced ii) Various securing clamps -- To be replaced (iii) All smoke & heat detector--To be made operational (iv) MMG protection guard -To be examined and repair if pitted ( v) Servicing of petrol pump--To be carried out (vi) Canvas cover ( Water proof) for motors and electrical equipment’s exposed to open environment-- To be stitched after measurement (vii) Table top of all dining hall- To be repaired and polished (viii) mattress ,pillows with cover - To be replaced as per condition. (xx) Water Collar --Required to be renewed (xxi) Marine wall clock --Required to be installed in each cabins/stores of vessel.

Electrical system (i) All switch board (ii) Deck light (iii) Fans (iv) Hot plate assembly (v) Speed down transformer (vi) Shore supply (vii) Exhaust fan /blower All switch board and electrical panel, fans , hot plate assembly to be serviced. DC bulbs and sockets and steel cover to be replaced. Note: - 1. All tube light be replaced by LED lighting system and to be supported by step down transformer. 2. at least one emergency LED light must be installed at each cabin/galley/stores/dining hall/wheel house etc. all exhaust fans and blower required to be serviceable .

Docking piloting charges Inspection charges (Including IRS) Docking, un-docking Cost of fuel, docking, undocking, and piloting/towing from border up to repaired dockyard and vice-versa, including inspection charges of IRS Class society.

Anticipation work (i) Post dry dock repair trial (ii) Water tightness (iii) Air pressure testing of tanks (iv) Sacrificial anodes (under water) (v) Rubber propeller (vi) Mud box and strainer 1. After completion of dry dock all equipment’s, machinery, tanks and fitment will be checked with requisite certificate wherever applicable. 2.Ship name and national flag of both side corroded, wasted to be required renewed . Note: - Approximate 50 Ton ± 05 Ton of steel plates may be required during dry dock repair for replacement of defective and pitted steel plates of FBOP Kamakhaya.
