REPAIR MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF HT ELECTRIC SUPPLY, REPAIR TO TRANSFORMERS AND OTHER MISC WORK AT ALHILAL MIL STN

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in (soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cms thick in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials/ soils, not exceeding 50mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50mtrs, complete all as specified and directed.

Sand cushioning to protection of underground cables, laid 8 Cm before laying and 15 Cm after laying of cable, and punned to form an overall layer of 18 Cms thick, complete all as specified and directed Note: Punned thickness shall be measured.

Sub class ‘B brick, old size, brick covering laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, with width equal to the length of the brick including taking out old bricks, complete all as specified and directed.

Mild steel galvanised iron tubing light grade for cable protection as in road crossing, along poles, walls, floors, drain of 80mm size fixed with MS clamps, nuts and bolts required complete all as specified and directed.

XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavyduty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts (Earthed), grade cross sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core, laid in trenches or passing through pipes/ ducts or fixed to walls/ poles complete including testing and taking out old unservicable cable, cable covers complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & Earth work, brick cable cover, GI pipe and sand cushioning shall be measured and paid separetly.

Renewal of cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination, heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm with suitable clamps made out of flat iron 50X6mm including nuts, bolts and washers, complete all as specified.

Renewal of cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through, heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm, complete all as specified.

Renewal of pin type insulator porcelain, vitreous, white/brown or green including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nut, 150mm dia and 150mm height for working pressure 11000 volts grade includng taking down existing insulators and removing from site, complete all as specified.

Renewal of lightning arresters (Set of three) expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp for 11000 volts including taking out old unservicable arrester and removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

Renewal of danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with mild steel clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20cm size, complete all as specified.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning gang operated switch with 9 insulators, outdoor type, triple pole, mounted on 9 insulators, mechanically operated suitable for vertical installation, single break, provided with locking arrangements, consisting of MS channel, HT post type insulator contacts of copper alloy, high pressure, heavy duty contact assembly, operating rod 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade complete including drop out fuses confirming to IS-1818, rated voltage 11KV and for current rating 200 Amps including taking down unserviceable GOD of any type, shape & size with steel frame and removing from site all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of indoor/outdoor type transformers body, HT/LT duct and HT Panel board at various substations for painting and applying one coat of spray paint with synthetic enamel paint without distributing/damaging the electrical network system /equipment all as specifed and directed.

Preparation of surfaces and writing/marking of ratings/ incoming /outgoing details/SM Nos in capital English alphabet, painted with thick paint, so that they stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of brush marks, n. exc. 30 cm high complete all as specifed and directed.

Taking proper shut down in writing and disconnecting the LT and HT electric mains from transformer of capacity upto 750 KVA, removing the transformer from pole structure/platform, shifting to authorized workshop after draining out the transformer oil at site, dismantling and disconnecting damaged HT/LT coils to facilitate necessary repairs, rewinding/reconditioning and re-assembling the transformer, bringing back to the site, refilling new or dehydrated old transformer oil, connecting with existing electrical system of HT and LT electric mains including commissioning and testing complete, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) HT/LT copper and other connected items/spares and new transformer oil mentioned in BOQ shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Placing /removing standby transformer in the place of defective transformer under repair including loading/unloading, shifting including transportation and making the system/line functional will be the responsibility of the contractor. Standby transformer will be provided by the contractor. Contractor’s quoted rates shall be inclusive of all these factors. (iii) The rate quoted is deemed to be included in the unit rate for cutting/chipping of RCC/PCC plastering of foundation/platform and minor grill work/welding work. (iv) Major spare part shall be paid seperatly under relevant/respective items of BOQ as "Supply Only) .

Purification, filtration and Dehydration of transformer oil of transformer installed at various indoor/outdoor sub station by ultra high vaavvun filtration machine with stream line filtration plant at a temp 60 to 70 deg. celsius and achieving minimum dieectric withstand strength of 60 KV for 1 minute in 2.5 mm gap setting (for used oil) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note: (i) Contractor shall ensure no wastage of transformer oil (ii) Oil required for topping up the transformer will be measured & paid separatly. (iii) Contractor shall be ensure that the conservator tanks are full to its level before starting the dehydreration

Supplying and filling new mineral grade transformer oil EHV type confirming to IS-3357 to 1983 for filling and for topping up in transformer/Voltage stabilizer duly filtered with filer plant to obtain high dielectric not less 60KV (Gap 2.5mm) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer In charge .Note:- Wastage of burnt oil shall be considered as 30% of total oil and 70% qty of total oil shall be considered in schedule of credit.

M&L For Carrying out calibration of HT VCB panel make of SEIMENS/CROMPTON/SCHINDER after taking proper shut down and disconnecting the cables from panel and VCB breakers of over fault relay, earth fault relay, checking of alignment of VCB isolating contact, servicing of operating mechanism including tripping and closing system of the breakers, dehydrating, decarburizing of panel, bus bar section & circuit section including incoming/ outgoing cables and necessary HT insulation at joints. Removing perished MonoPlus compound cleaning and re-insulating with HT taps wherever necessary, with and including replacement of worn-out/defective spares like tension springs, torsion springs, nut bolts, washers of suitable size, lingers etc under the supervision of Authorized dealer /representative and reconnecting the panel in its original position and testing entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Note: - (i) The rate quoted inclusive of all minor spares etc. (ii) If any burnt out/defective items like moving/fixed contact, tripping coil, earth fault relay etc shall be measured as supply only and paid separately under respective items. (iii) Spares parts required other than mentioned here-in-after shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iv) The calibration test certificate to be submitted after servicing & testing to Engr-in-charge.
