Manning and Operation including Preventive maintenance of DG Set of capacity mentioned below with AMF Panel, directly coupled with alternator 3 phase neutral 440/415 volts, round the clock (i.e for 24 Hours) in three shifts of 08 hours duration each with one operator & Helper per shift on all days including Sunday and Holiday at following installations:-

The operator opretes 40 KVA, 30 KVA DG Set Installed at SMC, 82.5 KVA Dg Set installed at IT section, 82.5 KVA Dg Set installed at Station Exam Section and 30 KVA DG Set and Central AC Plant installed at Auditorium.

160 KVA DG Set Installed at Signal Centre, 100 KVA DG Set installed at HQ Bldg, 30 KVA DG Set installed at IFATS Bldg, 2x25 KVA DG Set installed at Jaguar Bldg, 62.5 KVA Dg Set installed at Armoury. The operator also operate the Package A/C Plant installed at Signal Centre.

200 KVA Dg Set,160 KVA DG Set - 02 Nos Installed at P-4. The operator also operate the Central type AC Plant 02 Nos installed at P-4.

200 KVA and 160 KVA DG Set Installed at CEO Complex The operator also operate the AC Plant installed at CRRWand photo section in two shifts for 08 hours.

Notes applicable for Serial item No. 1.00 to 2.01:-The Contractor shall ensure the following before quoting the rate :- (i) Payment will be made through bank as per Labour Act. (ii) Provident Fund shall be Paid. (iii) Contractor shall obtain the License and registration from Labour Commissioner (iv) Any lapse in the payment to Tradesmen/Helper the contractor will be solely responsible. (v) Reliever to be provided for each person working continue for 6 days is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (vi) All DG Set Installations shall be handed over in operation state at the time of commencement of contract and shall be taken in the same state at the time of completion of contract period. (vii) Daily cleaning of DG Sets installation shall be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost, the rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for the same. (viii) Daily cleaning of all rooms i,e floor, walls and ceiling of installation including internal electrical fixtures. (ix) Removing of vegetation growth, cleaning/brooming of open areas of installation surrounding approx 8 mtrs. (v) No unauthorised person shall be allowed to enter in the Installation. (vi) The Operator should have minium qualification ITI with two years experience. (vii) The contractor shall also employ one electrician/DG Mechanic for maint/repair to electric panel/DG Set for minor repair as and when required. (viii) The contractor shall maintain a proper log sheet for daily running of DG Set Installation and record of running to be produced to the Engr-in-Charge and hand over the log sheet to the JE E/M in charge. (ix) The operating personnel shall be provided with protective clothing & shall wear them while operating the plant. In case of any accident/injury, fatal or partial disability, the contractor shall be solely responsible for settling all claims/compensation. Department will have a right to recover any sum indicated/claimed by labour commissioner/court directive. (x) The Contractor shall provide Torch light for each installation. (xi) The contractor shall also provide gardening tools, brooms, dusting clothes for area/installation cleaning.

Notes (Contd.......) The Contractor will ensure provided all adequate & required means to the workmen and also contractor will get his personnel insured. DG Set Operator/Helper will carry out the following maintenance works- (a) Checking of Engine Oil level. (b) Checking of oil bath cleaner oil level. (c) Drain sediments from fuel tank. (d) Checking of pre- cleaner dust pan. (e) Checking of air cleaner restriction. (f) Checking of coolant level. (g) Record Oil pressure. (h) Checking /tightenig of all bolts / nuts of engine and alternator. (j) Checking of AVM pads. (k) Checking of diaphragm coupling. (l) Checking of tappet clearance. (m) Clean fuel tank breather. (n) Clean crank case breather . (o) Checking of Air piping (p) Cleaning of oil bath Air cleaner Tray screen. (q) Check / adjust Belts. (r) Checking battery voltage, water level and apply jelly on terminals. (s) Checking fan hub / air blower hub and water pump. (t) Cleaning turbo charger. (u) Tighten manifold Nuts and screws. (v) Cleaning of electrical connections with CTC solution. (w) Checking of safety contols. (x) Cleaning of cooling system. (y) Cleaning of Engine and radiator assy.
