REPAIR TO CERTAIN STEEL FURNITURE AT ARMY AREA JODHPUR UNDER GE (A) NO.1 JODHPUR.

Repair of under mentioned furniture items will be carried out as follows:- (a) Removal of existing unserviceable material carefully without disturbing the adjoining parts from furniture articles as mentioned in the schedule.Supply and fixing new parts as per given specification and drg after tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, nailing, wedging, glueing,providing hinges, placing every part in-tact including polishing/painting the entire article with standard workmanship and as directed by GE/Engr-in-Charge.All furniture items is to be painted /poilshed only after making the entire item intact by tightening the joints. Denting work to be done as per standred workmanship before painting as directed by GE/EIC. (b) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/Md accns at Jodhpur/Shikargarh Army Area including BSO's Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and necessary completion certificate will be obtained from user unit before payment to contractor.

a) Steel 6 lever locks as per drg

d) Repairs to door as specified including replacement of hinges

d) Repairs to Drawer by replacing old u/s parts with new parts and providing roller bearing including tinkering/denting, welding, etc. all as shown, as specified & as directed by Engr-in-Chg.

Hand board of chair made out of 18 mm thick Prelaminated Particle Board exterior grade of approved shade all as directed by GE/EIC.

(c) Base frame for fixing hand board.

(d) Welding work wherever required as directed by EIC.

Table Bed Side (MAP) (FD/E6/MAP/15(R) )

a) Back of 6 mm thick ply BWR grade plywood as per shape and size shown in drg.

b) Top as per shape and size shown in drg made out of 18 mm thick Prelaminated Particle Board exterior grade of approved shade including alround PVC edging 0.6mm thick duly pressed with machine all as directed by GE/EIC.

c) Sides as per shape and size shown in drg made out of 18 mm thick Prelaminated Particle Board exterior grade of approved shade all as directed by GE/EIC.

d) Drawer Large complete as per shape and size shown in drg made out of 18 mm thick Prelaminated Particle Board exterior grade of approved shade. Telescopic channel and CP Handle 4" to be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg.

d) Drawer small complete as per shape and size shown in drg made out of 18 mm thick Prelaminated Particle Board exterior grade of approved shade. Telescopic channel and CP Handle 4" to be provided in Drawers all as directed by GE/EIC and as per drg.

M&L for painting two coat of Synthetic enamel paint or hammer Tone paint with shade as approved by EIC/GE over a coat of primer through spray machine , both internally & externally to the following furniture articles, viz F/FD/DB/MAP/TP series or similar items including removing of dust, dirts,dents etc and existing paint both internally & externally by applying paint remover/scrapping without damaging to surface , applying putty to level the surface before primer/painting, all as specified and shown on drgs and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
