| 2 | Dismantling the existing defective/worn-out Limit Switch, Pre-Limit Switch and Final Limit Switch for both UP and DOWN directions along with operating cams, rollers, brackets, actuating levers, mounting arrangements and associated wiring connections. Supplying, fitting, fixing, adjusting, testing and commissioning new heavy-duty electro-mechanical limit switches complete with roller lever/plunger type actuators, contact blocks, terminals, mounting accessories and all necessary hardware. The switches shall be suitable for lift duty application and shall be installed at the appropriate positions in the lift shaft/machine room as required. The work shall include alignment of operating cams, adjustment of operating mechanism, reconnection of control wiring, continuity testing, operational testing and commissioning to ensure correct operation of normal stopping, pre-limit and final limit safety functions in both upward and downward directions.
The item shall include all labour, tools, tackles, consumables, fasteners, wiring modifications (if required), transportation and incidental works complete as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

| 3 | Dismantling the existing defective, worn-out or damaged electro-mechanical door contacts installed at lift landing doors and/or car door, including associated contact assemblies, mounting brackets, fixing screws, wiring terminations and accessories.
Supplying, fitting, fixing, adjusting, testing and commissioning new heavy-duty electro-mechanical door contact assemblies suitable for passenger lift operation, complete with contact blocks, insulating base, spring mechanism, contact fingers, mounting arrangements, fixing hardware and all accessories required for satisfactory operation.
The work shall include cleaning of contact mounting surfaces, reconnection of existing control wiring, adjustment of contact alignment, continuity testing, safety circuit testing and commissioning to ensure reliable electrical interlocking of all landing doors and car door in accordance with lift safety requirements.
The contacts shall positively complete the lift safety circuit only when the respective door is properly closed and locked and shall interrupt the safety circuit immediately upon opening of the door.
The item shall include all labour, tools, tackles, consumables, transportation, minor wiring modifications, testing and commissioning complete as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Technical Requirements

| 4 | Dismantling the existing defective/non-functional Auto Rescue Device (ARD) complete with battery bank, charger unit, inverter/converter module, control cards, contactors, relays, changeover switches, wiring and associated accessories. Supplying, fitting, fixing, testing and commissioning a new microprocessor-based Auto Rescue Device (ARD) suitable for operation of an existing passenger lift having 11 kW motor with V3F/VVVF drive, complete with maintenance-free rechargeable battery bank, automatic battery charger, inverter/converter unit, automatic power changeover system, control circuitry, interface modules, protection devices and all electrical/electronic components required for satisfactory operation.
The ARD shall automatically sense mains power failure and safely move the lift car to the nearest landing floor in the appropriate direction, open the lift doors and keep the lift parked until normal power supply is restored.
The work shall include all necessary wiring, termination, interconnection with existing lift controller and V3F drive, adjustment, testing, trial operation and commissioning complete as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.echnical Requirements
