NOTE: 1) Debris generated from this work shall be disposed off by the contractor outside Anushakti Abasan, VECC by mechanical transport within Bidhan Nagar Municipality area without any extra cost to the department. During execution of work Contractor should maintain proper safety measures and provide proper insurance coverage to all work men to be engaged in this work. Contractor should quote rates accordingly. 2) Tenderers must visit the site of work before submission of tender. 3) Wherever cement based repair work will be undertaken, SSD (surface saturated dry) condition must be achieved. 4) All sand to be used for this job should be coarse sand duly screened for plastering only. 5) Plaster on repaired surface shall match with existing surface. 6) Only OPC (33 Grade) or PPC conforming to IS 1489 (Part I) shall be used for repairing work. 7) Area for removal of plaster for repairing, shall be of rectangular in shape or any regular geometrical shape. 8) All latex will be used as SBR latex. Use of construction chemicals of same manufacturer preferred, otherwise compatibility is to be ensured. 9) Painting over repaired surfaces shall not be under taken till the surface is dried up. 10) List of approved manufacturer for construction chemicals shall be as follows: SIKA QUALCRETE/FOSROC/BASF. 11) A copy of challan of each lot of materials brought at site shall be handed over to the department as soon as materials brought into site. Test certificate of materials shall be submitted as desired. 12) Contractor shall include cost towards testing in their rate. Hence all testing charges are to be borne by the contractor. 13) Rate shall include cost for providing temporary barricade made up of G.I. sheet and M.S. angle / post / salballah or equivalent as per security requirement, upto a height of 2.4 m throughout entire stretch of work till the work is over. During the course of execution, no part of entire stretch shall be kept open to prevent unauthorized entry 14) Alignment of entire fencing shall be straight. Line and level shall be maintained as per satisfaction of Engineer -In- Charge 15) All structural members (MS angel, flat, etc) manufactured by TATA/SAIL /RINL shall only be used except for the members of above makes are not available. 16) Rate shall include all costs, taxes & GST on material / labour pertaining to this contract and no other claim shall be entertained further. 17) The contractor shall clear left out materials (viz. Scaffolding materials, rubbish etc.) and dress the site to the satisfaction of Engineer-In –charge before the work is considered as complete. 18) Fabrication of structural members shall be done preferably in a well equipped workshop which shall be got approved before execution. Transportation of finished members from workshop to worksite shall be in the scope of contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Dismantling damaged brick work / plain cement concrete, reinforced cement concrete including cutting of rods, stacking of serviceable material; shifting of old reinforced bars & serviceable materials to central stores, which will be generated by dismantling old RCC pillars/structures/slabs etc., by chiseling at all level and location including scaffolding, disposal of unserviceable materials outside Anushakti Abasan, VECC premises by mechanical / manual transport etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in –charge.

(c ) In Reinforced cement concrete pillars etc. 1:2:4 / 1:1 ½ :3

Providing services for cleaning, cutting, uprooting of wild bushes, vegetation/weeds, removing, stacking them at separate places and disposal of all garbage outside Anushakti Abasan of VECC including all tools & tackles, labours as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: Trees of girth upto 300 mm may be cut during cleaning of bush etc. Rate shall include all consumables related to this item

Brick work in cement mortar 1:4 at all level using well burnt bricks of class 7.5 & above as per IS 1077:1992; 125mm thick, correct line level, plumb scaffolding (if any), curing, racking out joint, pointing etc. complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Earth work in excavation in all sorts of soil, reclaimed clay / sand etc. other than soft and hard rock up to depth not exceeding 1.50 m from ground level including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 150 m and backfilling spreading in layer not exceeding 250mm thick, watering, ramming by manually or mechanically as directed. The item includes necessary trimming, the sides of trenches, leveling, shoring, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water by dewatering pump if necessary etc. complete as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing 75mm thick flat brick soling in single layer with well burnt brick of approved manufacturer and of class designation 7.50 (classification as per IS 1077 -1992 and min. average compression strength not less than 7.50 N/ mm2) at all locations laid flat to required level slopes etc. as shown including binding the interstices with approved quality sand including watering,(pointing with cement mortar 1:6) finish curing etc. complete as per specification, drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing materials, labours, tools, tackles for shuttering and centering works for foundations, pedestal, columns / copping in proper line, level and location matching with the existing concrete surface, supplied drawing with necessary supports including de-shuttering etc, complete as directed by the EIC

Providing and laying cement concrete at all level, location, using graded stone aggregate 20mm maximum size including machine mixing, conveying, placing, mechanical consolidation, finishing, dewatering if necessary, curing, including necessary scaffolding all complete as per drawing , specification and as directed by EIC.

Supplying reinforcement for RCC works including transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting in required length, bending, placing in position at all level, location with steel conforming to IS 1786-1985 or mild steel conforming to IS 432-1982 and lapping by welding with existing reinforcement / MS member or binding with 20 gauge soft drawn annealed and as directed (cost of steel binding wire, welding machine and welding rod shall be borne by the contractor and shall not be measured separately for payment etc.) complete as per drawing and as directed Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, cement plaster 20 mm thick in 2 coats over exterior surface at any height, level & location with base coat in cement mortar 1:4, 12 mm thick over a bond coat of (SBR Latex) in the ratio 1:1:3 (1 latex, 1 water, 3 cement) and finishing coat in cement mortar 1:4, 8 mm thick over a bond coat of (SBR Latex) in the ratio 1:2:4 (1 latex, 2 water, 4 cement) including using water proofing agent conforming to IS 2645-2007@ 2% by weight of cement or as recommended by the manufacturer for the back coat and using Recron 3S of M/S Reliance @ 125 gm pouch per 50 kg bag of cement for final coat or other approved equivalent make or as per manufacturer’s recommendation for finishing coat, etc including necessary scaffolding, curing, dismantling old damaged plaster by square or rectangular shape etc all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

Providing labour tools tackles for application of white cement based wall putty slurry in the ratio 1:1.1 (1 Putty: 1.1 water)of M/s. Birla white or other approved make and brand(consumption 2.25 kg putty / 10 Sqm approx) over newly /old plastered wall surface, for making the wall surfaces smooth in order to match with existing surface, finish including necessary cleaning etc. providing scaffolding (if required) at all level, location etc. all complete as directed by the EIC. Note: The application area will be decided by the Engineer In Charge.

Painting on old painted / plastered exterior wall surfaces with two or more coats of exterior Acrylic Emulsion paint under brand ‘ Apex - Ultima’ or other approved equivalent protective finish of approved shade including sand papering, wire brushing, curing and cleaning the surface to remove all coatings, dust etc. filling up the cracks and crevices if any with approved putty including applying a coat of compatible stabilizing solution (primer) of approved make as directed, including scaffolding etc. complete as per specifications, manufacturer’s recommendations and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing / dismantling old chain link fence carefully from MS angle posts / vertical RCC pillars etc. including removing G.I. hooks, nuts, bolts, washers, fixing rods, cutting / uprooting old vertical posts (MS angle) etc. making into rolls, transporting the dismantled materials to Central Stores inside VECC office complex or as directed, stacking carefully etc. including scaffolding if required, all complete as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Supplying, fabricating, transporting, hoisting, erecting and fixing in position structural steel for post, bracing etc. at all level and location in steel RHS (Rectangular hollow section), SHS (Square hollow section) , ISMB, ISMC, Z- Section, ms-base plates (upto 20 mm thick), foundation bolts, end plates, stiffener plates, insert plates, MS angle, round bars, square bars, bolts & nuts (upto 12 mm dia) etc. of approved manufacturer or as directed, providing welding to best workmanship, grinding as required, including cutting in required length, bending, fabricating, welding fixing/embedding in PCC/RCC/masonry wall by welding/concreting (payment of concrete will be paid separately in relevant item) all as shown, including, making drilled holes up to 12 mm dia in masonry /structural steel wherever required and painting with two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved shade and make over two coats of approved zinc rich primer under brand CONCRESIVE Zri of M/s. BASF or equivalent complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the EIC. Note: i) Samples of all structural members including steel rectangular/square/round sections proposed to be used for fabrication will be weighed and actual weight shall be recorded. Wastage will not be measured for payment which shall be included in the rate. However, lower of unit weight between actual & relevant IS code shall be measured for payment. ii) Approval of Engineer-in-Charge for complete details and shop drawings shall be obtained before commencement of the work.

(a) In RHS (Rectangular hollow section), SHS (Square Hollow section) CHS (Circular hollow section) of M/S TATA under brand "STRUCTURA''/ SAIL or equivalent.

b) In MS plates / angle / flats/ Square bars for making spikes etc.

Painting two coats of synthetic Enamel Paint of 1st quality & approved make, shade/colour on MS surface etc. over a coat of metal primer, including thorough surface preparation filling up of dents, cracks with approved quality putty etc. all complete at any height, level location including necessary scaffolding etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Supplying, fitting, fixing, chain link fence of 50 mm x 50 mm x 8 gauge (approx. 4mm) conforming to IS 2721:2003 of approved quality with M.S. angle (which will be measured & paid separately) by galvanized MS wire of 6 mm dia which have to be tensioned and fixed to the vertical posts by means of galvanized special clips, bolts and nuts, ‘C’ clips, staples etc. along with providing and fixing additional line wires (MS galvanized) of 6mm dia ( at top & bottom) throughout the length with vertical posts and horizontal members etc. including necessary scaffolding all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Testing of chain link fence shall be done as per IS 2721:2003.

Grouting the Y shaped MS angle post (welded with M.S. base plate of required thickness as directed which will be measured and paid separately) at wall top by cutting chase in PCC/RCC/brick masonry of minimum 150 mm x 150mm x 250mm size and filling the same with PCC (1: 1.5 : 3) by volume admixed with plasticizer as per requirement, using graded stone aggregate 10mm maximum size including using bonding material (SBR Latex) in the ratio 1 : 1 : 3 (1 latex, 1 water, 3 cement) including mechanical mixing, necessary shuttering, mechanical compacting, curing, scaffolding if required, tools and tackles, labour etc. all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and inserting following reinforcement bar with approved grouting compound of “ HIT-HY 150” injection mortar of M/s. Hilti make approved or equivalent in the drilled hole of approximate 180 mm to 250 mm depth depending upon dia of bar, grouting the same including clearing the drilled hole by air compressor, filling the hole with grouting mortar by injection as per requirement, inserting the reinforcing bar in to the hole upto required depth, injecting grouting mortar till overflowing of grout is achieved including load test of anchored bars for working load of 42 KN in tension with all tools, tackles, labour, scaffolding and equipments etc. all complete as per manufacturer’s recommendation/ drawing and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note:- 1) Additional bars for testing purpose shall not be measured for payment. II) The reinforcement bar shall be provided by the civil agency.
