Strengthening of road from SAP Road to Kumbakudy Road in Kumbakudy Panchayat Km 0/0-2/66 (R68) Picking the existing mettaled surface and sectioning including all labour charges etc, complete for Km 0/0-2/660

Earth work excavation in all classes of soils except hard rock requiring blastering depositing on bank with intial lead of 10m and lift of 2m inclduing all labour charges and incidental charges such as shoring strutting providing coffer dams bailing out of water as per 20A for Km 0/0-2/660

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 150mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete. Km 0/0-2/66

Applying PRIMECOAT over WBM/ WMM surface at 7.00Kg of SS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. Comp for Km 0/0-2/66

Applying TACK COAT over Primed WMM surface at 2.5Kg of RS-1 Bitumen Emulsion / 10 sq.m including labour for spraying, hire charges for bitumen sprayer etc. complete for Km 0/0-2/66

Providing and laying Bituminious concrete which shall consists of construction of a single course binder /wearing corse on a previosly prepared Bituminous base to the requirements of the specification using 60/70 grade bitumen as per MorRTH specificaton CI.508 etc complete for Km 0/0-2/66

Providing and laying including cost and conveyance of gravel from approved sources to work site including labour for spreading, watering and compacting by power roller to achieve the required Proctor density at 100% compaction at Optimum moisture content and hire fuel charges for powerroller, watersprinkler and all other incidental charges such as traffic barricading and providing dangerlights etc. comp for side berms for Km 0/0-1/0

Road Marking by providing and laying of hot applied Thermoplastic Compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Provision for Road Marker/ Road stud with lens Reflector including all charges etc complete.,

Supplying and fixing Kilometer Metre stones including painting and lettering as directed by the departmental officers etc., complete

Supplying and fixing Hecta Metre stones including painting and lettering as directed by the departmental officers etc., complete

Supplying and fixing Name board including painting and lettering as directed by the departmental officers etc., complete

Providing and erecting of Retro - Reflectorised Cautionary, Mandatory and informatory signs (without definition board) including all charges etc.,60cm equilateral triangle

Earth work excavation for foundation in all clauses of soils and sub soils to full depth as may be directed except in hard rock requiring blasting but inclusive of shoring strutting and boiling out water whenever necessary et complete complying with standard specification

Cement concrete 1:4:8 mix ( one cement four sand and eight aggregate)using 40mm gauge hand broken granite tone jelly for foundation including dewatering if found ecessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick and compacted,etc., complete complying with standard specfication

Supplying and erecting centering for sides Centering for soffits of RCC slabs of plane surface like lintels, beams ,etc.,including strutting 3m high using mild steel sheets of size 90cm X 60cm X and B.G 10 stiffened with M.S angles of size 25mm X 25mm X '3mm laid over silver Oak (C.W) joists of size 10cm X 6.5cm (spaced at about 90cm c/c )and supported dy casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia (spaced of 75cm C/C) complying with standard specification.

Cement concrete 1:3:6 mix ( one cement two sand and four aggregate ) using 40mm gauge hand broken granite tone jelly for foundation including dewatering if found ecessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick and compacted,etc., complete complying with standard specfication

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under MGSMT including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRCSP- 20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost For the First Year from the date of completion of work
