Arresting of leakages to the 150 mm dia mild steel rising main at different underground spots by way of earth excavating using manual labour to expose the leaking/damaged spots and facilitate welding around damaged spot. The leaking joints of the pipe shall be plugged using minimum 04 mm thick MS strips of suitable width by way of oxy acetylene gas cutting, welding and with superior quality electrodes at site as per requirement. The MS strips strip shall be cut from MS sheet having min 4 mm thickness to cover the joints circumferentially. The MS strip shall be welded over leaking portion in two continuous weld runs using high quality electrode to ensure strong and leak free joint. The job includes mobilising of men and machinery to various difficult spots in orchards along rising main to carry out repair work. The above job includes cost on account of charges for hiring of tata mobile, welding set, DG set, oxyacetylene gas cutter, manual labour, fuel charges head load charges, unforeseen items and all tools and tackles required for completion of job which at site. The job also includes testing of joint for leakages after completion of job. Refilling of excavated spots using manual labour.

Providing and fitting of MS nuts and bolts of assorted sizes (03kg) 200 mm dia rubber washers (04 no)., Providing and fitting of palmetto packing. (02 kg).

Repairs/periodic maintenance of 200 mm foot valve at LIS Harnipora installed on suction by way of extraction of foot valve from their installed position by means of cutting damaged/rusted/worn out bolts. The job includes reconditioning of hinges, hinge bolts, weight plate, valve seat, valve body by way of welding, patching, grinding etc. Providing and fitting of rubber insertion cloth replacing the rusted/damaged parts, nuts, bolts, hinges etc as per requirement, cutting the old damaged/rusted MS bars of strainer and providing and fitting of new MS bars. Re-fitting to suction line and testing on full load.

Dismantling of old damaged coupling set at site. Providing and fitting TC-16 coupling set complete for pumping unit along with flexible rubber tyre at Lift Irrigation Scheme Lassipora. Taking dimensions of prime mover shaft and pump shaft at site and then boring the CI coupling halves as per site requirement on lathe machine at workshop. Complete linear and angular alignment of prime mover and pump shafts for smooth operation including providing and fitting of coupling bolts. Testing pumping unit on full load at LIS Harnipora.

providing and fitting of 200 mm dia MS flanged tail piece (flange dia 12mm) to the suction line having length of 02 feet and min thickness of 04 mm along with nuts bolts and RI cloth washers. The work is of emergent nature for operation of pump at low water level.
