Supply, Installation, testing & commissioning of 11 KV, 800 A, short-circuit capacity of 26.3 KA for 1 sec, 3-panel HT Gear with VCBs as per Specification [Make - SIEMENS/ ABB /Crompton Greaves/L&T/Kirloskar/Eaton/Esennar] below : BIL-28KV/75KV The Vacuum Circuit Breaker should comply as per IS:13118 & IEC:62271-100 for Circuit Breaker & IS:3427 & IEC:62271-200/IEC 694, IEC-61850 for Indoor panel.
PANEL The HT panel is rated at 11 KV, 3-Phase 800A, Breaking Current/short-circuit capacity of 26.3kA for 1 sec, 50c/s and shall be of floor-mounting, sheet steel clad, free-standing metal enclosed air insulated switchgear cubicle with VCB inside. The Vacuum Circuit Breaker is horizantal isolation & horizantal drawout/Vertical isolation & horizontal drawout with 3 compartments and is made of 2mm CRCA sheet for load bearing members with vermin & moisture proof along with automatic shutter arrangement for complete isolation of bars, cable sockets & other live parts etc. when the removable portion is withdrawn. The breaker is arranged for hand operation through front of the panel push buttons & spring charging mechanism and also electrical motor which will be energizied by 230V AC. Closing and tripping coils are rated for 110V DC to be made available from local power supply 230 V, 50 Hz, A.C. with remote operation compatibility. The shutter shall be gravity operated
. FRONT DOOR The front door of the breaker should not be set as front. High-Voltage door during switching operations, the high-voltage door should remain closed and mechanical interlock should prevent opening of door when the switching device is in service and is switched ON.The position of the withdraw-able section, the CLOSED/OPEN switch position of the switching device, the operating cycle counter and the “spring charged” indication should be visible through pressure-resistant inspection windows in the high-voltage door. The panel front door can be closed with the breaker in isolated position. The degree of protection in the panel is IP-43 as per Indian Standard IS 3427.
BUSBAR The spacious bus bar compartment is provided on the top of the cubicle. The main bus bar can carry current upto 800A and are made of electrolytic grade copper & shall be vertically placed one after another. The bus bars should be air insulated but must be HT PVC sleeved or heat shink insulated & color coded for R-Y-B. No live parts should be accessible. All joints should be insulated covered and color coded for easy identification.
BREAKER The vacuum circuit breaker is mounted on a truck and is of horizontal isolation and horizontal drawout or Vertical isolation & horizontal drawout type having a robust motorized mechanism. The spring charge cycle duty of mechanism is O-C-O. The vacuum circuit breaker is single break design and have one vacuum interrupter per phase. The minimum operational life of the vacuum interrupter is 30,000 mechanical, 10,000 electrical at rated current & 100 at rated short circuit current. The breaker is having auxiliary switch 6NO+6NC. [OEM test Certificate for quality assurance to be provided]
EARTHING A continous GI earth bus runs across the entire length of the switchboard. All doors partitions, covers and non current carrying metallic parts are earthed to achieve earth potential for the entire enclosure. Terminals are provided at each end of the earth bus to connect the grid earthing.
INTERLOCK The circuit breaker can be operated only in service/test position and not in any intermediate position, beside fully isolated condition.The circuit breaker cannot be inserted into service position in closed condition and cannot be removed from service unless it is in open condition. The circuit breaker cannot be moved from test position to service position unless auxiliary plug is disengaged and vice versa in service possition auxiliary plug should be in engaged condition.If earth switch is provided it shall be mechanically interlocked with the breaker so that both the devices can not be 'ON' simultaneously.
TESTING The fully assembled switch board shall be offered for routine testing as per provision of IS 3427. The manufacturer should submit closing & tripping time curve after testing on a breaker analyzer. For major boughtout components like CT, PT, meters & relays the routine test certificates of the respective manufacturers need to be submitted.

LT PANEL-1 (For SS-4) Supply and installation of L.T. cubical type fully compartmentalized distribution panel board(Raw Normal Power), having rigid and self supporting structure fabricated with 14 SWG CRCA sheet with M.S. angle iron frame (main frame with 50 x 50 x 6 mm angle and each vertical compartment with 40 x 40x6 mm MS angle iron). The base of panel should be made with 75mm x 40mm x 4.4 mm M.S. channel. (Main LT panel comprised of two nos. 1250A, ACB, EDO as incomer , One 1250A ACB EDO as bus coupler and 1250A on load changeover switch one no. . The incomer ACB's & Bus-coupler are to be elctrically & mechanically interlocked to prevent any malfunction.) [Manufacturer/Fabricator having Test Certificates from CPRI]. An Auto Cad Drawing of this item has to approved by EIC before making of it mentioning all major technical details with specification and Make of each and individual part. Construction Details : All incoming & outgoing switches are to be housed in respective compartments hinged and gasket doors at the front. All doors should have panel locking arrangement in such a fashion that it can not be on unless the feeder remains in off position.
The rear panel should gasketed wire net guard for ventilation arrangement will be made of easy accessibility to each compartment by providing rear panel doors with locking system . The panel is to be properly gasketed to prevent the dust & vermin. All combination of Horizontal and vertical bus bar chambers is to properly arrange and all electrical equipments are to be fixed by nuts and bolts on suitable Hylam board / porcelain insulators of adequate size and dimension. The outgoing feeder connection from respective switches are to be made at rear side of panel by means of busbar, Aluminium multi core cables/Aluminium Bar, to be terminated on bolted type terminals for cable connection or on bush insulators for bus bar connection. An Auto Cad Drawing of this item has to approved by EIC before making of it mentioning all major technical details with specification and Make of each and individual part. Construction Details : All incoming & outgoing switches are to be housed in respective compartments hinged and gasket doors at the front. All doors should have panel locking arrangement in such a fashion that it can not be on unless the feeder remains in off position. The rear panel should gasketed wire net guard for ventilation arrangement will be made of easy accessibility to each compartment by providing rear panel doors with locking system . The panel is to be properly gasketed to prevent the dust & vermin.
All combination of Horizontal and vertical bus bar chambers is to properly arrange and all electrical equipments are to be fixed by nuts and bolts on suitable Hylam board / porcelain insulators of adequate size and dimension. The outgoing feeder connection from respective switches are to be made at rear side of panel by means of busbar, Aluminium multi core cables/Aluminium Bar, to be terminated on bolted type terminals for cable connection or on bush insulators for bus bar connection. Each compartment will be providing with DMC/FRP board at back side. Incoming Arrangement : i) 415V, 250 A TPN Switch Disconnector Fuse unit with DIN type HRC Fuses (Make – L&T/SIEMENS/ABB) in open execution ----- 1 Nos. Bus bar section : 500V, 400 Amp capacity tinned 4 bar Aluminium bus bar [size of flat- 50 mm x 5 mm ] mounted on non-hygroscopic porcelain insulator / hylam sheet having sufficient di-electric strength duly wrapped with colour PVC tapes (Red, yellow, blue & black) for phases & neutral identification - 1 set
The busbar is to be rigidly supported on suitable non-hygroscopic insulating materials of robust ration to with stand electromechanical stress in the event of earth fault. All connection to bus to made by suitable nuts & bolts. The busbar is too wrapped with coloured PVC (Red. Yellow, Blue & Black) for colour identifications. Interconnection :- All interconnection between incoming main to Busbar are to be made with suitable size Aluminium bars or equivalent flexible pvc insulated multistranded single core Al. cable and the same between busbar to all outgoing mains and also for metering arrangements are to be made by suitable size of Copper wire with proper socketing of the end of each wire leads. Earthing :- A separate continuous GI earth busbar of size 50mm x 6mm is to be placed at the inside bottom of the panel and run across the full length of the panel board atleast extended for 75 mm at both side end of panel and should have drill hole to fit in 12x50mm GI nut bolt for earth strip connection. The complete panel board is to be spray painted after required surface treatment by 7 tanks process / sand blasting with 2 coat of red oxide primer & 2 coat of finished paint over dried or powder coating. Installation :- The complete panel board is to be installed on suitable brick padestal as directed by the E.I.C. All incoming/outgoing switches is to be properly lebeled on Acrylic sheet as per direction of EIC.
