Construction of Sand Pits for Fire Safety

Amount

Construction of Sand pit of size 4.50x3.00x1.00 Meter including excavation in foundation in ordinary soil. Clay or sand including feeling the trench or into tha spare between the wall and sides of trenches or into the plinth, removal & disposal of surplus earth upto a distance 27 mtrs from the foundation trenches and also including laying base concrete in 1:4:8 proportion with cement, coarse sand and 40 mm stone ballast in 100 mm thick layer in foundation trenches and construction of foundation wall with brick work 1:4 with cement & coarse sand of section 345 mm width, 75 cm height and 230mm width, 32 cm height including all materials, labour and T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work. (Note : One job for each Sand Pit.)

Plastering inside and outside portion of wall of sand pit with cement sand mortar in 1:4 proportion including all materials. Labour, T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work. (Note : One job for each Sand Pit.)

Providing 25 mm thick plain cecent concrete flooring with cement coarse sand ans 20 mm stone ballast in 1:2:4 proportion in sand pit including laying of 75 mm thick base concrete 1:4:8 proportion with cement coarse sand 40 mm thick brick ballast inclucding all materials. Labour, T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work. (Note : One job for each Sand Pit.)

Making apron around sand pit with construction of wall by excavation 300x300 mm size trenches and laying 75 mm thick 1:4:8 proprtion base concrete with cement coarse sand and 40 mm thick brick ballast and providing brick work with cement, coarse sand mortar in 1:6 ratio in two wall of section 28 cm width and 45 cm height and laying 75 mm thick 1:2:4 cement concrete proportion including all materials. Labour, T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work. (Note : One job for each Sand Pit.)

Filling of sand in sand pit including supply of necessary quantity of Ganga sand from outside from outside the premises of UPPTCL including watering dressing etc. and also including 3 coats of water proof cement paint of approved make like super showcem of equivalent quality on new sand pit outer portion surface to give and even shade including cost of all materials, Labour, T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work. (Note : One job for each Sand Pit.)

Writing & painting letter like ckyw ikuh on three sides of outer surface of old & new sand pit & water tank wall witj the help of stencils including painting of base of 150 mm width of one coat of primer and 2 coats of superoir quality synthetic enamel paint of size 60x150 mm including cost of materials, Labour, T&P etc. as required for proper completion of the work. (Note : One job for each Sand Pit.)

Finishing wall with three coats of water proof cement paint of approved make like super snowcem or equivalent quality on old water tanks of size 2x1.5x0.6 mm including repair of water tank as per direction of supervising Engineer (Note : One job for each Sand Pit.)
