Guidelnes for quoting the % rate by the bidder. 1. The rate shall be quoted by the bidder in % (Percentage) only on the DSR – 2023. 2. Bidder is required to quote only one value for percentage which will be applicable to Schedule-A. 3. Bidder should note that the rates calculated for all the items in Schedule A are made at par with the rates of DSR 2023 items. 4. Bidder shall quote rate only in % (Percentage) on Schedule "A wherein 100 is base. 5. Bidder may please note that the payment of DSR Items quoted shall be regulated as follows to arrive rates excluding GST. Rate of item as per schedule A= ‘X’ Rate to be considered for payment = (‘X’/1.2127) x (100±Quoted percentage) (Ex.GST) 100 6. Thereafter GST (as applicable) shall be calculated on the gross value of work executed. 7. The percentage rate shall be quoted in digits only with selecting sign of Excess (+) or Less (-). Following are some examples for quoting the % rate by the bidder:- a) If Bidder wants to quote 5% below the Schedule- A rates, then the bidder has to select Less(-) from the select pulldown menu and quote 5. As the base estimated rate is 100, the total amount becomes 95. b) If Bidder wants to quote 4% above the Schedule- A rates, then the bidder has to select Excess(+) from the select pulldown menu and quote 4. As the base estimated rate is 100, the total amount becomes 104.
