REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF UNSV LIGTENING CONDUCTOR, EARTHING TEST POINT AT ESH SHED, STORAGE ETC IN ARMY AREA, BANAR, JODHPUR

Taking out carefully existing aluminum strip of any size including mounting porcelain / PVC insulators and air termination rods from roof/wall of height upto 10mtr and seperating the complete as a serviceable/unserviceable schedule.

Labour only for re-fixing the aluminum strip retieved from item No 1 in position including provision of new insulators and proper layout on roof/wall of height upto 10mtr as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

S&F in replacement of GI strip of size 32x6 mm incl saddles on wall 32mm and burried in ground depth not less than 60cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F aluminum strip of size 25x3.0mm incl saddles / supporting insulators to run over the roof complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of gun metal test point terninal block of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw mounted on PVC Box of size 100x100x50mm fixed on wall complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of air termination aluminium rod 12mm dia 300mm long complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of GI tubing 50mm dia medium grade in incl necessary fittings for lowering in borewell of depth upto 30mtr and grouting at roof top in cement concrete to mount the air termination rod complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: PCC work for grouting on roof shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item of Schedule.

M&L for earthing in replacement with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate should not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level and connected to galvanized iron earth, GI strip of size 32X6 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of MES SSR Part I connecting to earthing test point on completion with and including 40 mm bore GI light grade protection pipe for earth, GI strip 32x6 mm dia, PCC pit with angle iron frame 300 x 300mm size, CI made pit cover in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 reinforced with 8 mm dia tor bars @ 80mm C/C, 20mm dia medium grade watering pipe with funnel, wire mesh, common salt, charcoal, necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Chanrge. Note :- (i)The earth pit shall be refilled by boulders free from vegetable soil. (ii) Earthing shall be tested by contractor in presence of Engr-in-Charge. Record shall be maintained. Payment shall be admissible only after satisfactory test results.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable existing earthing with bore well earthing with the help of mechanical boring machine of 150 mm dia- 30 mtr depth , supply and fix 160 mm dia (O.D), UPVC pipe 6 kg/sqcm rating -06 mtr long with the help of suitable size clamp with nut bolt and washer -01 No including charcoal dust, Salt fill in bore well for earth conductivity M&L for covering of bore well with PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 / Brick masonry pit of size 45x45x45cm complete and give the minimum earth test result below 1 Ohm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i)The earth pit shall be refilled by boulders free from vegetable soil. (ii) Earthing shall be tested by contractor in presence of Engr-in-Charge. Record shall be maintained. Payment shall be admissible only after satisfactory test results.

M&L PCC (1:3:6) type C-I using 20mm graded stone aggregate for coping of GI pipe at roof top with form work as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking out the unserviceable earth identification board and material and labour for providing the earth identification board made out of 3mm thick MS Sheet size 200x150mm fixed with angle iron 40x40x5mm, 90cm long, board painted with black enamelled paint as background and write the descreption of earthing No, results with white enamelled paint and the AI grouting 45 cm depth in ground by PCC 1:3:6 of size 20cmx20cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for marking of earth results /next due date etc on wall by using black enamelled paint as a background and letters will be in white in colour on 40cmx40cm span complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
