Putting of stop logs and then extracting out each gate (Gate No.1 to 10) for inspection / repair and checking healthiness of rollers and free movement of Gates as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (i.e. pre monsoon as per maintance schedule)
Opening of covering plates, cleaning of rollers, adjustment of rollers, checking healthiness, minor repair / greasing of rollers for free movement as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge and finally giving report of healthiness of rollers as per maintenance schedule of barrage gates before peak season (i.e. pre monsoon as per maintance schedule)
Checking free movement of Gates (Gate No.1 to 10), adjustement of wire ropes with turn, alignment of gate, tunion to ensure proper / free movement of gate before monsoonas per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge & as per maintenance schedule programme and then extraction of stop logs after checking free movement of Gates (i.e. pre monsoon as per maintance schedule)
Removal of silt / muck deposited in the stop log gates surrounding area and hollow portion of stop log gates during extercation of stop log gates (under water) and preparing surface even smooth for fixing of stop log gates.
