REPAIR TO OVER HEAD TANK UNDERGROUND SUMP IN TECH AND RESIDENTIAL AREA AT IRDE AND DEAL UNDER GE (I) RND DEHRADUN

Repair to RCC over head tank of capacity 1.50 lakh Gallon at the height of 15.20m to 21.00m high with the execution of following items as given in item No 1.01 to 1.10 and bidders are requested to quote their rate against each item accordingly work shall be excuted through authorised applicator as approved by GE complete all as specified and directed.

Dewatering of over head tanks and under ground sumps by mechnically/ pumping having capacity exc. 1.00 Lakh gallon but not exc. 1.50 gallon for maintenance and treatment purpose of tanks and drain out the waste in area drainage channels complete all as specified and directed.

Surface Preparation : The internal surface of RCC tank shall be cleaned including removal of all dirt, oil, laitance, fungi by profusions mechanical grinder or manually to obtain a clean and a fairly smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Crack Treatment : M&L for Cutting and opening cracks to a depth of 10mmx10mm in V shape by mechanical means. Cleaning all the dirt and loose particles by airpressure and wetting crack to attain SSD condition. Filling the crack using Nitobond SBR of Fosroc / SBR Latex of Sika/Tapecrete RTU of Cico having specific gravity ranging from 1.015 to 1.040 @ 27 deg celsisus mixed in the ratio of 1 (polymer) :3 (Cement) maintaining W/C ratio to 0.35 to achieve thixotropic consistency. Product should be tested in accordance with BS 6319 complete all as specified and as directed.

Injection Grouting : M&L for Providing Chemical injection treatment in the form of pressure grouting to the cold joint by injecting cement slurry (Cement to be used should have min blain value 300 - 500 sqmtr per kg) mixed with grout admixture Damp block 2K of Cebex 100 of Fosroc/Intraplast of Sika/ Crystal Seal of CIco @ 225 gms per 50kg of cement, in the required consistency through the pre fixed PVC nozzles in the 18 mm dia holes, fixing of PVC nozzles with Renderoc Plug and final cutting the projected nozzles and sealing off the PVC nozzles after the injection operation is over with Renderoc plug, non-shrink rapid setting mortar compound, finishing, curing etc. as per manufacturers specification and complete all as specified and as directed.

Coving : M&L for applying Cement Mortar (1:4) admixed with Nitobond AR having 43% solid contents at the junction of slab and vertical offsets. Nitobond AR mixed cement mortar shows 75% improvement in adhesion (slant'shear strength N/mm2 as per BS 6319) having control samples complete all as specified and as directed.

Waterproof coating : M&L for applying two coats of high performance, elastomeric, acrylic polymer modified cementitious coating like Brushbond RFX of Fosroc/ Top seal 109 HY of Sika/ Tapecrete RTU of Coco having a mixed density of 1.6kg/cc manufactured by fosroc chemicals /Dr Fixit/SIKA/CICO aplied by company authorized applicators with minimum recommended coverage is 0.5m2/per kg/2 coats to achieve a DFT of 1mm. waterproof coatings shall confirm to ASTM C-836, ASTM D 45641 & ASTM D4060 complete all as specified and as directed. Brushbond RFX coating shall exhibit the following properties: (a) Abrason resistance ASTM-D4060 : 0.85 (b) Tensile strength as per ASTM D412 is 1N/mm2. (c) Adhesion to concrete is greater than 1N/mm2 and (d) Static crack accommodation ASTM-C836 min 1mm system include supply and application all complete as per the fosroc methodology/ or equivalent as approved by GE.

Food grade coating (internal): M&L for providing, mixing and applying Nitocote EP405 manufactured by Fosroc Chemicals India Pvt Ltd and applied by authorised applicator. Nitocoat EP405 of Fosroc/Sikagard -67 of Sika/ Cicoguard-WS of Cico is 100% (volume of solids) solvent free epoxy resin system designed for potable water retaining structures. Minimum recommended rate of applications is 0.25-0.30 lit/ sqm to achieve a total DFT of 200 microns. Product shall be CFTRI approved and cured film shall comply with the requirements of IS 9833-1981. system includes surface prepration and application as per methodology complete all as specified and as directed.

Protective Coating (External) : M&L for providing and applying Dekground E2000 manufactured by Fosroc Chemicals India Pvt Ltd or equivalent and applied by authorised applicator Total anticarbonation system comprises of a silane siloxane based penetrating primer (Dekguard primer WB) and elastomeric pigemented coating (dekguard E2000). Deckguard E2000 is a single component elastomeric, anticarbonation, liphatic acrylic protective coating, or equivalent as approved by GE Minimum recommended rate of application is 1.5m2/lit (including wastage) to achieve a total DFT of 200-300 microns on external side of OHT fulfilling functional parameters of following:- (a) Static crack spanning capability @200 microns dft @23°C : 2mm as per ASTM C836-76. (b) Solar reflective index (white colour) 105% as per ASTM E1980-11 (c) Adhesion greater than 1.0N/mm² as per BS 1881. (d) CO2 diffusion resistane not less than 240 mm equivalent of air thickness and 60cm equivalent of 30N concrete (Taywood method, at 309 microns dft) System includes surface preprtion and application as per Fosroc methodology or equivalent as approved by GE.

Weather proof acrylic exterior emulsion on external surfaces OH Tank of 1.5 lakh gallon capacity on 15.20m high staging : M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by grinding the surface with mechanical grinder before preparation of surfaces of old painted surface by cleaning, rubbing with gunny bags and washing the entire surface with water mixed with bleaching powder including making the surface smooth and free from dent by application of cement based wall care putty and applying two coats of weather proof acrylic exterior emulsion paint (Ist quality) entire surface of old tank including columns, beams, cross beams, beams above slab, exterior surface of tank. The rate quoted by the contractor included all scaffolding arrangement to carryout the work on exterior surface of 1.5 Lakh Gln OH Tank. The second coat of paint shall be applied after getting the Ist coat approved by GE. The application of paint shall be done with the roller only. The contractor shall arrange all safety belt and all other equipment like helmets etc and shall be fully responsible for the safety of the labours. The contractor is advised to visit the site and work out the requirement before quoting the rates. The rate also includes all necessary scaffolding minor repairs requested and nothing extra shall be cleaned by the contractor.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:4) on concrete surfaces of internal walls of RCC OH tank using WPC @2% by weight of cement , finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately under respective item as "Supply only".)

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound ISI Marked (used 200 ml per bag of cement) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing cement or cement lime plaster/Grit wash of any description and in any position on brick or concrete surfaces etc including racking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specifed and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:4) on brick or concrete surfaces,finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces over and including 3 mm thick water proof wall care puty in two coat or layers including preparation of newplastered external surfaces of wall complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for M.S framed work such as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates rails, braces etc complete drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering ,doors etc to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges orsteelhanging door fitting(exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering running rails and guides) and hanging, also fastening and fixing complete of Fe 410 (Gde 250 quality) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed..

M&L for preparation of old steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of PCC of any description & in any position not otherwise specifically provided for Complete all as Specified and directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete 1:5:10 type E-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling & Mass concrete , sub base.complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation filling & Mass concrete , sub base.complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rubber moulded chequered cement concrete coloured tile glossy finish 30 cm x 30 cm x 25 mm thick set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floor with cement and pigment to match glosssy finished including screed bed or bedding layer of 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:6, for laying floor finished complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and laying factory made chamfered edge 80mm thick cement concrete paver blocks of approved colour and design, M-30 grade in footpath or light traffic parking etc, of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over 50mm thick compacted bed of sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in copings, kerbs, channels, water through and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed chamfered necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC (Cement concrete) 1:3:6 typeC-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection finished even and fair and making 50mm deep joints at every 3 metre interval and at every corner and filling the joints with bitumen of grade 85/25 and sand mixture 1:3 complete all as specified and directed. Notes for item No 1.01 to 1.10 (i) The work will be carried out upto 21m of hight. Hence necessary complete scaffolding and other safety arrangements will be managed and made by tenderer/ Contractor accordingly at own expense. (ii) Tenderer kind attention is also invited to srl clause 1.16 of Sec-I on srl page No 6 (General rules for Safety in Construction) as specified in SSR Pt-I (2009) for safety measures/ precautions. (iii) Steel scaffolfing is to be used in the work. (iv) Necessary arrangement for temporary plug the / door / window / ventilator opening at time of taking down plaster/ new plaster till completion of work. Made by Tender / Contractor at own expense. (v) For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the BIS specifications shall be followed.
