M&L for cutting, racking out existing sealing compound from joints of rigid pavements including raking spilled out sealing compound from the edges of existing joints and removing the raked out sealing compoound and forming joints 6 to 12 mm width and removing the debris and other foreigh materials to a distance exceeding 50m and not exceeding 150 m and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge Including cleaning the side and bottom of joints by compressor air (Diesel driven compressor of suitable capacity), preparing joints to receive polyurethane joint filling and primed with primer & polyurethane sealant of approved with minimum 10 mm depth of sealent all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cutting, racking out existing sealing compound from joints of rigid pavements including raking spilled out sealing compound from the edges of existing joints and removing the raked out sealing compoound and forming joints 12 to 15 mm width and 30 to 40 mm depth by diamond cutter and removing the debris and other foreigh materials to a distance exceeding 50 m and not exceeding 150 m and depositing where directed by Engineer-in-Charge including cleaning the side and bottom of joints by compressor air (Diesel driven compressor of suitable capacity), preparing joints to receive polyurethane joint filling and primed with primer of approved make , sealed with polyurethane sealant of approved Make and minimum depth of sealent above backup rod shall be 10 mm along with back up rod of suitable size complete all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

Description all as per SI Item No 2 above but forming of joints 25 to 30 mm width and 30 mm average depth with suitable size of backup rods complete all as specified and as directed..

M&L for 25 to 30 mm thick pre-formed synthetic filler board in rigid pavements after taking down the existing old/out lived filler board and claning the side and bottom of joints by compressor air (Diesel driven compressor of suitable capacity) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparation of cracked top surface of concrete slabs on runway with wire brushes and manually if required using diamond but blade mechanicaly driven and cleaning with air compressor to remove all loose dirt, dust, scalling, grease etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Applying primer NG CHEM 121 for the cleaned existig surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Applying Den Mort / NG MORT trowelling compound on primed surfaces with thickness form 2 mm to 5 mm including filling of small holes up to 10 mm depth and levelling the surfaces to match the existing surfaces level of runway / taxi track etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc complete and application of Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) for air field pavement for micro surfacing with PME fulfilling IRC : SP 100 : 2004 all parameters and mopping of total cold liquid PME asper site requirement and mixed with water and mineral filler as recommended by manufacturer of PME and ensure uniform finish of runway complete all as manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) The tenderer shall take into consideration the following points while quoting his rate for item No 8 :- (a) The work shall be carried out through authorised and qualified applicator of the manufacturer only. (b) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps/cracks with 0.6mm to 2.36 mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer's instructions. (c) A performance guarantee certificate shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the work as specified. (d) For lesser width manual application can be allowed. (e) As per above meentioned policy, rates are considered for use of undiluted polymer modified emulsion (PME) of 1.0 ltr per 1.0 sqm in two coats. However price adjustment will be made as per actual consumption based on trial patch approved. Note :- (ii) Friction test and sand patch test as per manufactures instructions to be carrid out satisfied level.

Supply Only Polymer Modified Emulsion (PME) complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of road / runway for bituminious pavements, flexible pavings,aprons and the like and painting lines,dashes,arows ,letters etc. exceeding 10 cm width with one coat of aqua based road marking paint of tint white or golden yellow or orange or as required at site complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Painting to be applied through mechanical equiptment (road marking paint machine and work to be planned according to flying schedule)

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of road / runway for bituminious pavements, flexible pavings,aprons and the like and painting lines,dashes,arows ,letters etc. exceeding 10 cm width with one coat of aqua based road marking paint of tint white or golden yellow or orange or as required at site ccomplete all as specified and as directed.e and work to be planned according to flying schedule.

M & L for preparation of old painted surfaces of rigid pavement, flexible pavement, concrete surfaces, cement or plaster surfaces and like and painting lines,dashes,arows ,letters etc. exceeding 10 cm width with one coat of synthetic enamel marking paint of tint white or golden yellow or orange or as required at site complete all as specified and as directed. and work to be planned according to flying schedule. .

M&L for Grass cuting on shoulder of the Run way taxi tracks , over run area and adjacent areas as necessary including cleaning away all grass, vegetation sapling shubs bush weed, undergrouth , roots tree n.exc 20 cm girth and removing rubbish etc,.complete to a distance of 1.00 to 1.50 KM from the starting point complete all as specified and as directed. Note : - (i) Cutting and trimming of grass as directed by AFS Bidar authority above ground level using mechanical grass cutter machine with operator and manual labour. (ii) Minimum 4 Nos of Heavy duty petrol brush cutter (Grass cutting machine) per day with operator is mandatory, because daily output of grass cutting 5000 sqm required

Description all as per Ser Item No 13 here-in-before but grass scrapping and de-rooting the vegetation / grass, creepers along the lights of runways to the width complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for scraping , removal of old paint deposits on runway , taxi tracks and air field pavement using scraping tools and removal of scraped paint from airfield area complete all as specified and as directed.
