RECARPETING OF PARADE GROUND AND ALLIED WORKS AT ICGS BEYPORE UNDER GE (I) (CG) KOCHI

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm using bitumen VG-10 and putting in premixed bituminous macadam using VG-30, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of hole exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Premix bitumen macadam with binder content of 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen of VG-30, laid rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient (Consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with mechanical paver complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparing scarified surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sq metre using paving bitumen VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq metre using paving bitumen VG-10 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using hot mix plant and mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above .Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incomporated on approval of Mix design is found more than the min bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of mix design.

M&L Applying 2 mm thick road marking paint with reflective thermoplastic white road marking paint confirming to BS-3262 (1989), either continuous or broken lines over existing or new painting surfaces of cement or bituminous surface, laid down through road marking machine using thermo plastic material by incorporating the white glass powder for reflectivity in 100 mm width in white or golden yellow colour by using applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil grease and foreigh material etc complete as direction of Engr-in-Charge and in accordance with applicable specification complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc.complete all as specified and directed

M&L for precast Solid Block Masonry type 1:3:6 type C1 (20 mm Aggregate) set in cement mortar 1:6 all as specified and as directed by engineer in charge

M&L for plastering 10 mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:6 on brick or stone walls to be finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement) all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster in cement or cement lime mortar on brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc, Including removal of debries out side MD land all specified and directed.

Supply and fix ceramic or vitrified quarry-style wall cladding tiles n.exc 0.36 Sqm , 10-12 mm thick , ±1% variation) on prepared compound wall substrate, conforming to IS 13630:2006 and IS 13755:1993 Tiles shall have a textured/matt finish, fixed using polymer-modified cementitious adhesive all as specifies and as directed. Note:Method of fixing Clean and hack (5 mm depth) the compound wall substrate (brick masonry/concrete) to remove debris and ensure flatness (≤3 mm deviation in 2 m), apply 1:3 cement:sand slurry bond coat; fix ceramic/vitrified quarry-style tiles (IS 13630:2006 compliant) using polymer-modified cementitious adhesive (IS 15477:2004, 3-5 mm thick, 4-6 kg/m²) with a notched trowel, pressing tiles firmly with 2-3 mm spacers for uniform joints, starting from the bottom, ensuring level/plumb alignment, and cutting tiles precisely with a wet cutter; after 24 hours, fill joints with epoxy grout (IS 15476) and provide 10 mm expansion joints every 4-5 m with backer rod and silicone sealant.

M&L Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165

M&L for preparation of new painted of steel or iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coat of Synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

Demolition of Concrete of any description as in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as Specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing plain cement concrete 1:2:4 mix type B0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate as in under layer to flooring 25mm thick finished rough to reiceve toping complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for high-quality glazed vetrified/ceramic tiles exc 0 .36 Sqm not exc 1.0 Sqm of Make Somany or Equevalent , minimum 7-8 mm thick, conforming to IS 15622:2006 using polymer-modified cementitious adhesive (IS 15477:2019) and water-resistant, anti-fungal cement-based or epoxy grout (IS 14490:2018) with 1.5-3 mm joint widths as per approved samples and layout patterns as in walls. Method of installation:- 1. do cement plaster (1:4 ratio) to achieve a smooth and plumb surface over which apply adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendations evenly to the wall surface and back of tiles to ensure full coverage and avoid hollow spots 2. Press tiles firmly into the adhesive, using plastic spacers to maintain consistent joint widths. Ensure tiles are level and flush with adjacent tiles 4.Allow adhesive to set for 24-48 hours before grouting, 5. Apply grout using a rubber float, ensuring all joints are fully filled and remove excess grout from tile surfaces using a damp sponge during application.Allow grout to cure for 24-72 hours, 5.Apply silicone sealant at corners, edges, and junctions with fixtures to prevent water ingress complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Rate shall be inclusive of all the items mentioned in this Item
