(B) SURFACING WORK

Preparation of sub grade in SMB by excavating earth upto 20 cm average depth, dressing to required camber or super removal of local humps or depressions & consolidating with power roller including disposal of surplus earth within a lead of 30 m (SMB)

GSB 15 cm thick (compacted ) with stone aggregate conforming to grading No V as per Tables-400-1 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge Works including supply of material, watering and compaction all complete (911.35 Sqm x 2 layers)= 1822.70 Sqm.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate grading as per Table-400-13 and satisfying the physical reqmt as per Table No. 400-12 of MORT&H specifications for 2 layers WMM specifications to a thickness of 75 mm, including premixing the material with water to OMC in mechanical mix (Pug Mill) laying in uniform layers in sub base/base course on a well prepared base and compacting with power vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including guarding. ( 893.1 Sqm x2 layers)= 1786.2 Sqm

Providing sand blanketing to a depth of 10 mm, spreading water, consolidating with power roller complete.

Laying , spreading and fixing of HDPE sheet 400 mic over sand blanketing.

Forming 12 mm thick expansion Joints filled with preformed bituminous filler and top 30 mm primed and sealed with sealing compound grade A depth of expansion joint 250 mm.

Forming of contraction joint (dummy) 60 mm deep x 10 mm wide filled with sealing compund grade A.

Road marking with thermoplastic paint (2.5 mm thick) conforming to MOST: 803.4 including preparation of surface and application.

Providing and laying 60 mm thick Dense Bituminous Macadam layer with asphalt 80/100 penetration grade for tack coat @ 8Kg/10 Sqm and pre coated stone aggregate physical requirement/grading/mix composition requirement as per Table: 500-8/9/10 respectively of MORT & H specifications for road and bridge works with 4.5% asphalt 80/100 penetration grade and rolled to the required specification

Providing and laying 40 mm thick Bituminous Concrete layer with precoated stone chips grading confirming to Table:500-17 and mix satisfying the physical requirement of table 500-16 of MORT&H specifications, mixed with 5% binder asphalt VG-10 penetration grade by weight of total mix and 2% cement by weight of mix ( for filler) all as specified as per MoRT&H data book

Providing and applying Primer Coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer @ 7.50 Kg per 10 sqm (using BPD with manual labour)

Providing and applying Tack Coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor @ 2.50 Kg/10 Sqm on prepared bituminous /granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom, all complete as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specifications

Road marking with thermoplastic paint (2.5 mm thick) conforming to MOST: 803.4 including preparation of surface and application.
