SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD AROUND MOC, COMNETCEN AND NCN CENTER (PBD)

Scarifying the damaged road surface by mechanical means of gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, & deep exceeding 75 mm but not exceeding 100mm including staking the stone in side of road and removing of unwanted material outside all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM of granite, trap or basalt with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required all as specified.

Ditto as above item No 2 but except stone.

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water , scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat 5kg/10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam (minimum binder content of min 4% by weight of total mix as per design mix using VG30) well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 kg/10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.30mm size and again well rammed (including supply & laying premixed macadam binder and chippings), depth of pot holes exc 30 mm complete all as per IRC specifications and as specified.

M&L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bitumen primer @ 10 kg/10 Sqm (paving bitumen grade VG-10) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for dense bituminous macadam not exceeding 50mm consolidated thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with min 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power rolled 8 to 10 tonnes to required cambar and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) Works to be carried in places and also patch repairs to depressions under and upto 50 mm shall be carried out under this item. Rate under this item includes for cleaning the surface of pot holes and depressions and removing of the rubbish meterials as per site requirement. (b) Preparation of mix in hot mix plant spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers/vibrator as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out in hot mix plant which may be installed at distance as per norms but contractor shall be responsible to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no deley in completion of work shall be acceptable. (c) During transit of material from hot mix plant to site shall be covered by tarpolin/ necessary covering.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 5 kg/ 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying bituminious premixed asphaltic dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder content as in semi dense asphaltic concrete binder conten by weight of total mix rolled and compacted or required gradient and camber men grade VG-30, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller to required gradient and camber to a smooth uniform surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8kg of bitumen (paving bitumen), applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repair solar studs 135x105x26mm made of aluminium frame with mix epoxy filler of approved colour having bearing strength of minium 20 tons including removing old studs all as specified and directed.

Demolition of concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for cement concrete (unreinforced) complete including removing debries outside MD land all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 (40mm graded agg) in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

M & L for Sand filling under paver blocks for cushion complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80mm thickness, M-40 grade, finished with grey cement and pigment, complete all as directed.

S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed to walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F of 110mm bore PVC (SWR) bends of any radius, complete all as specified.

S&F of 110mm bore PVC (SWR) junction single (Single T) equal or unequal of any radius, complete all as specified.

Providing and applying 2.00 mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) n exc 10 cm wide of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automated thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experinces operator on road surface including cost of material, T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil grease and foreign material etc complete as per direction of Engr-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications
