(1) Supply to be as per Tender description / specification.

(a).Preferably Manufacturers should participate. (b).Participating Traders/Agents must attach authorization letter issued by the OEM . (c). Authorization letter should preferably be Tender specific. (d). In case of general authorization letter, it must clearly indicate the validity period/expiry date. (e). Offers with general Authorization letter silent on validity period/expiry date will not be considered for placement of order and their offer received will be summarily rejected.

(a).Ambiguous offers like Unbranded products, 'as per tender', 'any good make',etc and specifications not confirming with bid parameters, etc will be summarily rejected. (b). Bidders to clearly provide the make and model of the offer, failing which offer may not be considered. Also Bidders to clearly give any deviation in the Techno-Commercial Tabulation.

Technical Brochure: The original technical brochure for the offered model must be enclosed with the offer.

Past performance: Details of previous supplies to various hospitals of repute in Kochi or Trivandrum, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, other railway hospitals, and government hospitals across India must be included. These details should specify the year of supply, contact persons, and performance reports from the institutions, which may be verified after tender opening.

Comprehensive Warranty: The offer must include a five years comprehensive warranty [With provision of free replacement of Battery during warranty period), Comprehensive warranty shall include preventive maintenance including calibration as per technical service /operational manual of the manufacturer, service charges and spares. During the warranty period commencing from date of the successful completion of warranty period, Service personnel shall visit Railway Hospital or Health Unit where the equipment is supplied, as recommended in the manufacturer's technical/ service /operational manual, at least once in six months. Further there will be 98% uptime warranty during warranty period on 24 (hrs) X 7 (days) X 365 (days) basis, with penalty, to extend warranty period by double the downtime period.

Service centres:

Details of Service outlets in Alappuzha or nearby to render services for equipment to be furnished to buyer/ consignees with complete address, telephone numbers, e-mails etc at time of making the supplies. It shall be the responsibility of the seller to ensure that authorized service centres are available to cater to the areas where supplies are made within reasonable distance from where the service calls can be handled. Details of toll-free numbers for service call and online registration of service requests also to be provided to buyer/consignee at the time of supplies.

Installation, Training. Manuals:

Seller shall be responsible to carry out Installation & commissioning. Supervision and Demonstration of the equipment without additional cost. They shall provide required jigs and tools for assembly, minor civil works for the completion of the installation and Training of Consignee's representatives for operating and maintaining the equipment and supplying required number of operation & maintenance manuals for the equipment. In case the category parameters are specifying any requirements regarding the installations, training and manuals for the same shall also be applicable.

1) EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD) shall be deposited by all vendors for tenders with estimated value above Rs. 25 Lakhs subject to the applicable exemptions. For the exemptions and other details please refer Para 2.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions. 2) In case of submission of Earnest Money Deposit in the form of Bank Guarantee, please refer Annexure- 6 of Southern Railway Tender conditions.

SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD) shall be 5 % of total value of contract and shall be taken from all vendors for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 10.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions. In case of submission of security Deposit in the form of Bank Guarantee, please refer Annexure - 5 of Southern Railway Tender conditions.

Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

The medicine/other items wherever procured through tender, will be delivered directly to the Pharmacist/Store keeper of the respective consignee in the Medical department.

Firms giving false declaration in the tender will be removed from the approved/ registered list.
