Taking down old treatment including PCC padding if any, plastering, removing existing bitumen felt treatment including brushing, cleaning top surface of roof slab, brooming etc complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15mm thick cement plaster with cement mortar(1:3) with water proofing compound on fair finishes of brick work or concrete surface of roof slab, to be finished even and smooth(without using extra lime or cement ) all as specified and directed. (Water proof compound shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ.)

Roof treatment :- Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet shall be carried as under :- (a) Ist Course : Apply a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384@ 0.40 Kg /Sqm on prepared surface of plaster and after drying of primer, apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm on plastered surfaces. (b) 2nd Course : APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified polymeric membrane, 5 layered, 3 mm thick weight not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm with 160 Grams/Sqm non woven polyester made at centre core reinforced laid with 75 mm side overlap and 150 mm end overlap, membrane has to be laid with LPG torch and overlap sealed and finished neat, all joints. (c) 3rd Course : Apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm over membrane and dusted with dry sand @ 0.50 to 1 Kg/sqm. (i) On Non-accesible roof : After providing (a) to (c) provide aluminium paint as per manufacturer instructions. (Aluminium paint shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of BOQ (ii) Coved fillet in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of required radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and vertical surface such as parapet wall/mumty around opening and treatment mentioned above shall be applied followed by a cement plaster 20mm thick in cement mortar(1:6). Note : (i) Roof treatment work shall be carried out through approved manufacturers only or through their authorised personal only.

Preparation of old painted surfaces of concrete or surfaces of any description and applying two coats of aluminium paint over roof surfaces over 10cm grith or width, not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of wall and ceiling boards (fibre,pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets GI framework complete all as specified and directed.

Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 450x300mmx7mm thick, as in vertical surfaces such as in skirting and dado etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the colour of tiles over and including 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Granite (of any type) work 20 mm thick (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platform and like including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixure of pigment to match with shade of granite including 15mm thick screed of CM 1:4 after applying cement slurry@3 kg/sqm of cement per sqm, complete all as specified and directed. Solid PVC (Door/almirah/cupboard) frames of size 50 x 47mm (wooden texture) made out of 5mm dia plain colour PVC Sheet reinforced with MS Square tube, supplying and fixing in opening as per specification and drawing all as specified and directed.
