Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand) 6 mm thick.
Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade.
New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm. over and including a base coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm).
Transportation of Tower materials from BSNL Store at Kaimanam to the site including sorting,loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading and stacking properly at site ( proportional deduction shall be made for lesser weight).
Supply of tower materials at site such as angles, plates, nuts, bolts etc for shortage if any in the materials supplied from BSNL Store. MS angles shall be of Yst 240/210 grade conforming to IS 1161 and shall be hot dipped galvanised as per IS 2629-1985.
Erection of four legged light weight communication tower(NB) indicated in item above. Tower fabrication and erection as per all relevent IS codes .

Providing and applying paint of approved specification over the four legged light weight communication tower ( NB ) indicated in item above.(One coat of Etch Primer(MRF, Asian paint or equivalent)should be applied first followed by one coat of zinc chromate primer. Over that two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint Orange/ White of approved brand and manufacture should be applied.)
Providing GI plate earth including excavation of pit size 1500 x 1500 x 3000mm depth in all kinds of soils and placing 4 Nos. of GI plates of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick vertically at diagonally opposite ends in the excavated pit and inter connectign the plates with 25 x 3 mm GI strips with 2.Nos. of GI bolts and nuts of 10 mm dia at each connection and placing galvanised iron pipe of 50 mm dia and 3000 mm length at the centre of the GI plate grid and interconnect the pipe at minimum two sides with the connecting flat of the GI plates with GI flat of size 25 x 3 mm with GI bolts and nuts and fill the pit upto a depth of 650 mm with charcoal of 20 mm nominal size and the remaining portion of pit shall be filled with loose soil free from stones and wet the entire soil with water and cover the pit with 600 x 600 x 50 mm thick precast reinforced concrete slab having 75 mm dia hole at the centre to pass the G.I. pipe and construct a chamber of
internal size not less than 280 x 280 x 250 mm with half brick wall including fixing C.I. manhole cover of size 300 x 300 mm of weight not less than 7.20 kg. (cover & frame) and plastering the chamber on all sides with cement mortar 1:4 of 12 mm thick ( 1 cement : 4 fine sand) and including disposal of surplus excavated earth if any within a distance of 5 km lead as directed by the Engineer -in-charge.
Providing ring earth including necessary provision for connecting earthing for aviation lamp including excavation of trench of size 500 x 1000 mm depth and laying GI flats of size 50 x 3 mm and jointing flats with plate earth vide item No.17 above and jointing at corners with 2.Nos. of 10 mm dia GI bolts and nuts with necessary spring washers and refilling the trenches with the excavated soil free from stones and disposal of surplus soil within 5 km lead as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing GI strips of size 50 x 3 mm one end connected to the tower leg with GI bolt and nuts (with lead seet in between) including providing and connecting the legs at the bottoms of tower and the other end shall be connected to the GI plate earth/ ring earth with GI bolts and nuts (with lead sheet in between) including clamping the down lead flat to walls/stems without any sharp bends using neccessary clamps and screws as directed by the Engineer -in-charge.(All joints shall be covered by shalimar or equivalent water proof tape and made air tight.)
Providing and fixing copper lightning conductor of 1500mm length, 25mm dia hollow tube of wall thickness not less than 1.6mm including tinning the bottom portion of the spike for a length not less than 150 mm (lightning conductor to be fixed at the top of the tower) and connecting the GI busbar to the lightning arrester using 2 Nos. 10 mm dia brass bolts and nuts all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing GI bus bar of 50x3 mm connected to the tinned bottom portion of lightning conductor and to the ring earth/plate earth with 2 Nos of 10 mm dia GI nuts & bolts (with lead sheet in between) at each connection. Both ends of the bus bar shall be tinned properly and the entire length of bus bar shall be drawn through heat shrink sleeve and shall be shrunk properly. The bus bar shall be clamped to the tower /building walls at uniform interval of 1.5 Mt.. using proper GI clamps and ceramic insulators such that the bus bar shall be well insulated from the tower /building walls all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(All joints shall be covered by shalimar or equivalent water proof tape and made air tight.)
