Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60cm x60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below ground level, connetcting with GI earth strip of size 32mm x 6mm by means of bolts , nuts , check nuts and washers of bronze and provisioning of GI tubing medium grade (ISI marked) of size 40mm bore for protection of earth strip including PCC with 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) CI frame and cover of angle iron 40x40x6mm with lug 02Nos and handle 6mm dia MS bar made to shape GI light grade 20mm bore pipe of watering perforated at bottom 1.75m long placed on top edge of earth plate, charcoal and common salt filling , test point made out of Bronze/Gun metal of size 75x75x20mm with fixing arrangement funnel wire mesh including excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil , returning filling in and removal of surplus surplus soil to a distance n.exc 50m all as per electrical plate No 03 of SSR Pt-I to earth test point including testing on completion all as specified and directed. Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Diesel Engine driven generating set water cooled capacity 350KVA (280 KW) , 415 volts , 0.8 PF at NTP, mounted on common base platform with flexible coupling , 1500 RPM , alongwith sound proof enclosures (Acoustic Enclosures) designed for reducuing the sound level less than 75d BA at 1.00 m of (average) IS 10001/.10002 Part -10 as per approved CPCB norms and as per GSR 371 (E) dated 17.05.2002 with silencer pipe and silencer muffler covered with asbestos rope 25mm thick independently supported from Engine to outside of power house upto 1.00 mtr cold start kit, Battery start with suitable size cables for connecting from DG sets to DG set panel board DG Set shall be capable of operating in temperature range off (-15°C to +35°C ) and PCC foundation as recommended with and including the following:-
(A) PRIME MOVER :- Vertical diesel engine of suitable capacity as per manufacturer recommendation water cooled,(Radiator mounted) closed circuit as per IS-10001/10002 or ISO -3046 direct injection type with turbo charged. The diesel engine shall be capable of running 24 hrs contiunously with 10% overloading for one hour in every 12 hours as per BS-5514/BS-649. Engine shall be equipped with all standard fitting as per manufacturer's recommendations and mounted on common base plateform through flexible coupling with following acessories- (a) RPM cum hour meter. (b) Battery charging Ammeter. (c) Ignition key and starting with push button switch. (d) Lubricating oil pressure gauge. (e) Electronic governor controlling (f) Toggle switch for idle running
(g) Oil temprature gauge (h) Water temperature guage (I) Safety controlled trip for the following :- (i) High water temp. (ii) Low lubricating oil pressure,. (iii) Over speed. (k) Lubricant oil heater to avoid freezing. (j) 24 Volts starting equipment comprising of the followings:- (i) 02 No. 12 volts 180 AH battery.(Maintenance free type) Make : Exide type 25xnN 21 or equivalent as recommended by manufacturer. (ii) Battery Charging alternator with inbuilt regulator. (iii) Self starter motor of suitable capacity. (iv) Battery leads (copper stranded cable) of suitable size with brass thimbles and terminals.
(B) ALTERNATOR:- Alternator of capacity 350 KVA (280KW), 3 phase, 50 cycles 415 volts, 4 wire supply at NTP 0.8 PF running @ 1500 RPM self excited, self regulated, mounted on common base frame mounted on a permanent foundation screen protected with self excited field brush rotating fixed designed to be coupled with above engine through flexible coupling. The alternator shall be conforming to BS-2613 or IS-4722.
(D) OTHER FITTNGS :- (a) Battery Charger :- Battery Charger having electric circuit consisitng of triodes rectifiers, capacitors and resistance etc. The battery charger should be able to charge 2 No's of 12 volts 180 AH battery with suitable battery charging Ammeter with two Nos of lead for charging with clips , mounted on suitable angle iron frame duly painted -01 Nos (b) Integral Fuel tank of suitable capacity as per manufacturer's recommendations with all connected pipes and fittings upto fuel pump and over flow pipe from engine to tank including level indicating guage duly marked and drain valve and air vent plug etc.
E) Maintenance spares:- (i) Fuel filter element-02 Nos. (ii) Oil filter element-03 Nos. (iii) Element air cleaner outer-06 Nos(iv) Element air cleaner inner-06 Nos (v) 'V'Belt -02 Nos (vi) Filter lubricant oil bypass-02 Nos. (F) DG Set shall be supplied alongwith acoustic enclosure of the manufacturer suitable for 350 KVA DG set as per CPCB Norms. Notes:- (i) Complete DG Set shall be mounted on foundation as per design of manufacturer with in overall cost quoted. (ii) Precommissioning test shall be carried out by rep of Accepting Officer within overall cost qouted . POL shall be arranged by the contractor .(iii) Contractor shall produce a copy of approved certificate to authenticate the above from the OEM/DE (iv) Higher capacity DG set can be offered by contractor with in overall cost quoted.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of HT panel having following specifications:- (A) Indoor vaccum circuit breaker panel suitable for 11 KV , 400 Amps , 25 KA for 3 Sec for incommer cum outgoing conforming to IEC 62271-200 , class front accessed having following specifications:- Each comprising of following items:- (a) 400 amps continous rated electrolytic copper bus bar, droppers and bus bars should be insulated with full system voltage sleeves of Reychem or equivalant Make. (b) Trolly mounted vaccum circuit breaker as per IEC 62271-100. Vaccum circuit breaker should have three no resin encapsulated vaccum bottles. (c) Motorized spring charging mechnism with integral spring charging handle for manual spring charge. (d) Cast resin current transformer 11KV, 50-25/5-5A, Core 1 class 1.0 15 VA, Core 2: SP10, 15VA. (e) Cast resin potential transformer 11KV/V3/110V/V3/110V/3 50VA, CI 1.0, CI 3P and HT fuse at the primary end 04 pole MCB at the secondary end of the PT. (f) Acessories like local remote switch , breaker control switch (T-N-C) space heater with thermostate,DC & AC control circuit through, MCB , indicating lamps for RYB spring charge , DC supply healthy , breaker ON/OFF , breaker in SERVICE /TEST as per manufacturer. (g) Multifunction meter with RS 485 port model No EM6400 of CONSERV make or equivalant in L&T make. (h) Digital Ammeter and digital Voltmeter. (j) Master trip relay.
(k) Comperhensive numrical protection relay as per IEC 61850 compatible for directional and non directional O/C , E/F, U/V, O/V protection . Make SIEMESN/L&T/ALSTOM/AREVA/ABB 1. Trip ckt supervision. 2. Disturbance recorder. 3. Event log with date and time. 4. Measurement and control features (i) Panel should also have additional facility like:- (a) Intermittant rated closing and tripping coil. (b) Fully internal arc type tested (25KA for 1 Sec) (c) Vaccum bottles should be epoxy encapsulated (d) Racking in/out , manual closing /tripping compartment door closed. 5. Breaker shall be provided with following contacts. 5(a) Auxillary switch with 06 Nos +6NC Mounted on the draw out portion of the switch gear. 5(b) Position switches with 03 Nos +1NC for each position in SERVICE and TEST. 6. Panel height should not exceed 2300 mm. 7. Electrical & mechnical interlcking between two Nos incommers. 8. Type test reports for internal arc test to be submitted alongwith submission of drawings.
COMMON NOTES:- (a) Drawings for panel shall be got approved from GE before placement of order by contractor. (b) CT Ratio is given is tentative and is subject final approval of GE. (c) Precommissioning test of panel shall be carried out by EI from HQ CENC or Rep of AO within overall cost of quoted by contractor. (d) Any modification required to match the system with existing system is deemed to be included in overall cost quoted by contractor. (e) Power pack duly fitted by firm supplying VCBs shall be supplied with in overall cost quoted. (f) Make of HT Panel : ABB /Siemen/L&T/AREVA/C&S/Schnider
Supply and installation , commissioning and testing of transformer , copper wound with tertiary winding step down indoor type complete withh all standard fitting of capaciy 315 KVA, AC phase, 3 wire primary , 4 wire secondary 50C/S. 11/0.433KV, oil immersed naturally cooled with external cooling tube and having off load top changing gear hand operating with tapping for voltage (±)2.5% , (±) 5% (±) 7.5% and (±) 10% of rated voltage , with and incl first filling of transformer oil including standard acessories as per IS-2026 and making connection on HT & LT complete as specified and directed. NOTES:- (I) Foundation for out door transformer cattle fencing around transformer is incl in the above rates. (ii) Precommissioning of transformer shall be carried out by Electrical Inspector from HQ CENC or Rep of Accepting Officer with in overall cost quoted.

OIL FIRED BOILER:-Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of oil fired glycol based hot water generator using HSD oil complete with combustion chamber and equipment automatic monoblock burner assembly tubes , control panel with sequence controller, photo cell for flame failure, HT transfer electrodes, blower assembly, electric panel, mounting frame, pressure gauges, at inlet and out let , suitable for operation on 50 Hz, 3 phase 415 volts AC supply and all as specified. Hot water inlet temp = 65° C Hot water outlet temp = 75° C Capacity - 3,00,000 K Cal/hr at MSL Note :- (a) Higher capacity generator can be offered by contractor within overall cost quoted. (b) Pre-dispatch inspection can be carried out by rep of Accepting Officer within overall cost quoted. Decision of Accepting officer shall be final and binding in this regard.

FUEL GAS CHIMNEY:-Supply and installation of mild steel flue gas chimney made out of 3mm thick mild steel sheet, minimum 1.20 metre above the highest point of the plant room including connection from boiler to main chimney fabricated from 3mm mild steel sheet all as specified. Notes:- (i) The item shall be complete with the mounting/fixing arrangement. (ii) The each boiler shall be connected to an indepent chimney. (iii) The portion of the chimney inside the building shall be insulated with fibre glass insulation wool 24 Kg/Cum,50mm thick and insulated portion covered with 28 SWG aluminium cladding.The item shall be complete with mounting/fixing arrangement,complete all as specified and directed.
EXPANSION TANK: Supply and installation of overhead expansion tank of size 1000ltrs PVC tank complete covered with 13mm closed cell electrometric insulation complete with removable lid, in,out,drain, over flow system, including mounting arrangement making connections etc complete all as specified and directed.
GLYCOL FLUID TANK : Supply and installation of 1000 Litre capacity HDPE tank with removable lid, in,out,drain, over flow connection system, mounting arrangement etc complete connection.
BULK OIL STORAGE TANK :- Supply, installation, testing and connecting with the system and commissioning of Horizontal Cylindrical oil storage tank made out of mild steel design temprature (-) 30°C and design pressure atmosphere (+) static head of liquid. (i) Storage capacity (Nominal) : 10 KL (ii) Gross Capacity (not exceeding 10.2 KL) (iii) Shell thickness : 5mm (iv) End plate thickness : 6mm Note :- Tank shall be complete with all nozzles, manhole, lifting lugs,earthing lugs, vent pipe dip stick suitable dia inlet,outlet connections and return pipes with flanges as per specifications including civil works for installation and staging.
DAY OIL STORAGE TANK : Supply , installation, testing and commissioning of kerosene /HSD oil day service tank rectangular mild steel construction with capacity 990 litres complete with inlet, outlet , drain out pipe. Tank shall be made out of 3mm thick mild steel and will be provided with supports made out of minimum 50mm NB class 'B' pipe to keep tank base at minimum (1000 mm) above finished floor level complete, All as specified and directed.

The mixing freezing temperatureshall be minus 16° C all as specified. However the mode of payment and operations involved for this item shall as under:- Note :- (a) Mono ethylene glycol in concertrate form shall only be measured and paid under this item. (b) Material and labour for mixing, filling prepration of glycol charge to get total quantity of mixture including first filling required for operation of CHS plant and network having 70% quantity of treated water availabble at site and 30% of monoethylene glycol supplied under item 9.38 to attain the freezing temp of mixture as minus 16°C the quoted rates shall be deemed to include the above activity ./work. (c) The water for prepration of mixture will be supplied by MES without any extra charges for these items only. The water shall be supplied at a point decided by GE and quoted rates shall deemed to be included for transportaion of same from take off point. (d) Any other additives and inhabitors as per the requirement laid down in relevant IS shall also deemed to include in quoted rate. (e) Empty barrels shall be property of contractor.
