Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, laying of pipes etc and not exceeding 10 sqm on plan for manholes etc and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil complete all as specified.

Returning, filling in excavated soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 Cm thick, all as directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, all as directed.

Taking up or down old unserviceable GI/MS tubing and connetions including all fittings from the trenches , wall , floor etc complete as directed.

M & L for river sand, spread dry in trenches as in cable cushioning ,Before laying the cable, the trench shall be provided with a layer of sand of 8 cm depth and the cable has been properly straightened, it shall be covered with sand to a depth of 15 cm , then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of the upper-most cable and punning shall be done by hand all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Factory made un-reinforced precast cement concrete cable cover class LV, flat of size 250mmx150mmx40mm, laid dry over electric cable for protection all as specified.

Taking up or down unserviceable steel tubing and connections for removal to store 40/50 mm or credited to contractor complete.

Supply and Fixing GI tubing light grade 40 mm bore as in cable protection fixed to poles/walls or laid intrenches/under road crossing etc. all as specified and as directed.

M& L for boring of holes under road pavment/hard standing by manual boring including making good to the distrubed surfaces complete all as specified and directed

Taking down old unserviceable UG cable of any size.

Note : (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner. (ii) Protection pipe and earthing strip upto test point from top of the earth plate and further upto body of electrical equipment shall be including in the unit rate of this item. (iii) The earth testing arrangement should be done by the contractor as per direction of Engr-in-charge. No extra payment shall be made on this account.

M&L for point wiring for light/fan/bell with FRLS cable 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated (red for phase and black for neutral) unsheathed, multi stranded copper conductor 1100 volt grade in and incl not less than 2mm thick PVC casing/caping with all accessories and 1.5 sqmm green in colour PVC multistranded, copper conductor FRLS cable for earth continuity connected to common earth dolly incl MS sunken box/PVC box, surface/ flush type with 3 mm thick pre laminated hylem sheet for mounting fittings such as switches, sockets, fan regulators etc complete all as specified and directed for one light/fan /bell point controlled by one switch & making good to disturbed surface of wall etc as specified and directed by Enginneer-in-charge.

As per all item No. 39.00 above but for multi 5 pin 5 amps flush type socket outlet on independent board.

Note : Deduction for amount of Rs 151400.00 as listed in Schedule A Part - II ( Schedule of Credit) shall be made while awarding of contract.
