Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1 metre above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50mtr. Outside the periphey of the cleared. (HSR 6.26)

Construction of embankment, sub grade and shoulders New road portion at RD 0.00 to 750mtr. with soil of minimum CBR (4 days soaked) of 8% obtained from borrow pit with all lead and lift transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305. The finished road surface will be as per X-section approved by employer with respect to GTS. At no place top of sub grade of raised road will be less than 0.90 m above adjoining NSL. NSL for a block of 100m will be worked as mean of 6 levels taken on 20 m center to center length of road. These six levels are at three location on both side one at edge ROW. Other at 5 m and 10 m away from ROW. In case the quantity of earth work calculated with NSL and finished level found to be less than 5830.14 Cum. Then actual quantity (less than 5830.14 Cum) will be paid. In case quantity worked out is more than 5830.14 Cum, then only 5830.14 Cum will be paid. Excess quantity shall be incidental to work and nothing extra will be paid. Further it shall be ensured that atleast 500 mm of sub grade with earth of CBR 8% shall be constructed at each location. Wherever any cutting of existing subgrade is required on this account excavation as well as handling and disposal of earthwork to accommodate minimum 500mm thick subgrade of minimum 8% CBR shall be carried out by the agency at his own cost. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. Before start of work, L-section shall be got approved from the employer with respect to GTS. However, typical X-section attached at section 9 of DNIT. Note: - If soil of CBR 8% is not available then the agency will do appropriate stabilization as per IRC –SP-89-2010 as approved by SE-in-Charge and nothing extra shall be paid on this account and it will be incidental to work. No earth work will be allowed from PWD land.

Providing and laying 150 mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage-cum-filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading –VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Material and operation manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & Laying 75mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-I) 63 to 45mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including lighting,guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc.as per clause No. 404 of MoRT&H specifications of road & bridges (5th Revision)of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect.(N.S) Note:- 1. Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index(PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & Laying 150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53 to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to Water Bound Macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type 'B' compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc.as per clause No. 404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridges (5th Revision)of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respect.(N.S) Note:- 1. Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index(PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and laying first coat surface dressing, including rolling with road roller etc. complete including cost of bitumen VG-10 grade using aggregate 13mm nominal size 1.00 cum and bitumen VG-10, 0.10 MT per hundred square metre. Clause 509 of MoRT&H specification.(5th edition ) 2013 (NS).

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing and laying 20mm thick premix carpet (PC) excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified value of compaction and direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect. i/c cost of Bitumen VG-10 grade as per clause 510 MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS). Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work,coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accrodance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitunen aggregate mix is less then 95% anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti -stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payabl. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. Note:- Before laying PC on existing black top of all cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification (5th edition) clause No. 3004.3 which may consists of (i) Fog seal/or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2 and 3004.3.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition 2013 respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for fog seal/ or crack filling/ or patch work but no payment on this account shall be made as fog seal/or crack filling/ or patch work is /are incidental to work.

Providing and laying ‘B’ type seal coat with VG-10 grade bitumen excluding cost of tack coat, with mixed material brought from Hot mix plant and laying with paver finisher and compacting with road roller to achieve specified/desirable value of compaction as per direction of Engineer including cost of lighting arrangement, sign board and night watch, complete in all respect as per clause 511 and 510.1.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 (NS).

Supply collection and carriage if First class brick 22.86cm x11.11cmx6.86cm from approved kiln to site of work shall be made from good brick earth conforming to 3.5 of Haryana PWD specification 1990 edition in stacks of 50 bricks length, 2 bricks width and 10 bricks height parallel to the center line of the road Bricks shall be free from saline deposits and shall be sand moulded. They shall be thoroughly brunt without vitrified and shall have uniform deep red, cherry or copper colour. They shall be regular and uniform in shape and size with sharp and squares aries and parallel faces. They must be homogeneous in texture and emit a clear ringing sound on being struck. They shall be free flaws, cracks , chops, stones, nodules or lime or kankar and other blemishes complete as per Haryana PWD specification No. 3.5.1990 First Edition.(NS)

Laying brick on end edging length-wise 22.86 cm deep and 6.83 cm wide including excavation of earth and refilling the excavated soil and compacting along brick edging complete in all respect with other than brick soiling.(HSR 24.6 b)

Providing & Marking canter Line / side Line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide. Complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at side confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge work (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacture, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmare/ Prismo. The glass beads shall be of potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTN/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer–in-Charge a copy of certified test report from the manufacture of the thermo plastic metrical meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beds the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3) Note: - before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duty signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-in-Charge before use.

Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres.(HSR 6.6)

Cement concrete 1 : 6 : 12 with stone aggregate 40 mm Nominal size in foundation and plinth.(HSR 10.32)

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note: - Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 Kilometer stone of standard design, fixed in position, including finishing and painting kilometre stone on village roads (HSR 10.129 (iii) + 16.75 b (iii) )

Providing and fixing RCC village boards 1.85x0.90x0.75m size of cement concrete 1:1½:3 with minimum 16kg. Providing and fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm G.I. pipe of size 2.45 mtr x 1.15 mtr with 900 mm x 900 mm G.I. sheet 16 gauge connected / welded with 5 mm thick steel plate 50mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the drawing and fixing at site in 60x60x75 cm. cement cocrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Providing and fixing of shoulder mounted sign boards of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC: 67-2012 type IV HIP specification fixed on 3mm thick Aluminum composite panels as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5mm thick Aluminum on both sides supported on Mild steel pipe post 80mm NB medium class 4mm thick embedded M-20 grade concrete foundation of size 450mmx450mmx600mm, complete as per drawings, Technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 600mm Circular Note:- i) In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomencalature given in HSR shall be applicable. ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non-schedule items depicted in this DNIT and conventional unit of that N.S. items as per practice in this department, the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
