COMPOSITE ITEMS

Designing, providing, fabricating and fixing profiled sheeting 730-1020 mm cover width, 28-30 mm crests @ 186-333 mm centre to centre, manufactured out of 0.45 mm BMT (Base Metal Thickness) Hi-Tensile Steel (Minimum yield strength of 550 MPa) coated with hot dip metalic galvalume/ zincalume coating AZ-150 or equivalent as per AS:1397 and super polyster XRW quality paint coat as per AS/ NZS2728 (Category-3) of approved colour for roofing, cladding, gutters, rainwater pipes, spouts etc. The total mass of the coating on both sides shall be 150 gms/sqm (Zinc 45%/ Aluminium 55%). The total paint coat thickness shall be 35 microns, comprising of 20 microns exterior coat of super polyster XRW on top surface and 5 micron super polyester on back surface over 5 micron primer coats on both surfaces including side and end laps. The sheets shall have wide pans with 2-3 stiffening ribs for effective water shedding and special male/ female ends with full return legs on side laps for purlins support and anti-capilary flute in side lap. The sheets shall be fixed using polymer coated hot dip galvanised hex head self drilling fasteners as per AS:3566 (Class-3) on each crest of sheets for connection with purlins and polymer coated hot dipped stitching fasteners at 300 mm c/c on all sides and end laps, etc. Approved sealing tapes shall be used on side laps and end laps of sheets and closer to be provided at the last end of sheet. The measurement shall be based on per unit of finished/ laid area. Item to include curved sheets also wherever required. The Contractor shall give minimum 10 year guarantee for the sheets against deterioration, disintegration, loss of lustre, variation in colour, etc. and leakages across laps, fasteners etc. The Contractor is to submit design and shop drawing for approval on the sheet profile, design and details before installation.

Roof, side cladding, gable end cladding, gutters, rainwater pipes/ spouts etc. (Note: The area of sheet coverings shall be measured on the flat surface i.e. without allowance for laps and ribs).

Providing, supplying, erecting and fixing in position 3 mm thick polycarbonate sheets of approved texture and colour for roof lighting. Sheets to be profiled to match metal sheets described in respective item above. Cost to include jointing, sealing with Butyl adhesives and tapes as per manufacturers specifications and all labour, tools, plants, temporary works, etc. all complete.

Supplying, erecting and fixing in position 600 mm wide Colour Bond Ridge Cap and corner flushing rolled from 0.5 mm TCT BHP Zincalume AZ-150 High Tensile Steel (550 MPa Yield Strength) including fixing to sheets stiched by (4.8 mm x 16 mm) Hex Head stitch screws, with metal bonded EPDM washers all complete as per specifications and directtions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and fixing rolling shutters of approved make, made of required size M.S. laths, interlocked together through their entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks, mounted on specially designed pipe shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with push and pull operation complete, including the cost of providing and fixing necessary 27.5 cm long wire springs manufactured from high tensile steel wire of adequate strength conforming to IS:4454 (Part-1) , M.S. top cover of required thickness for rolling shutters and fixing ball bearing for rolling shutters.

Extra for providing mechanical device chain and crank operation for operating rolling shutters of Exceeding 16.80 sq.m. in area

Extra for providing grilled rolling shutters manufactured out of 8 mm dia. M.S. bar instead of laths as per design approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Area of grill to be measured).

Providing, installing and commsssioning of Electrically Operated Drive unit for opening/closing/controlling/operation of rolling shutter including electric motor operating on 400/ 440 V, 3 phase, 50 cycles ac supply. These shall be operated by an electric motor operating on 400/440V3 phase 50 cycles A.C. supply with CE Certified Side One Operated Drive Unit with Direct drive option, This unit shall be in accordance to the EEC standards EN 12453, as plug-on drive unit System, power supply wired with industrial plug, push button integrated in the housing lid Safety mechanism It should have provision for an integrated safety brake and double circuit limit switch which comply with the EN 13241-1 standards. Control Switch shall have provision for three station push button with Deadman control feature which allows shutter to move as long as the operating button is being pressed. The motor shall have a push button control, with a minimum of 3 buttons marked “Up”, “Down” and “Stop”. Limit switches shall also be provided to cut off current to the motor when the shutter reaches the limit of its travel in the “Up” or “Down” directions. Along with this, provision for Wireless remote operation for shutter operation is also required. This remote will operate the shutter and will also be used for switching ON/OFF for two 250 W Metal Halide luminaries, These metal Halide luminaries will be fixed at the suitable position, near the cover hood of the rolling shutter. This Wireless remote control shall be able to operate within 100 meters range. The wireless remote control transmitter shall be impact resistant. The receiver of remote control may be fixed at any suitable position. The remote transmitter, should be powered with rechargeable batteries. Preferred make - Stromag / Siemens /ABB/Crompton/Kirloskar or any reputed make avialable . One spare remote transmitter and two nos. of spare batteries along with charger shall be supplied with the shutter should be supplied with the shutter. Arrangements shall also be made for emergency mechanical operation of the rolling shutter in the event of failure of the electric equipment or electricity. The emergency mechanical operation shall be by an auxiliary chain wheel drive.

Supplying, fabricating, erecting, placing and fixing in position M.S. structural works using rolled/ built up sections for truss, claddings, bracings, purlins, supporting frames made of joists, tubes, pipes, channels, angles, plates, flats, bars etc. including cutting to required size welding of joints, fixing anchor plates, including bolts, theading, nuts, washers, sleeves etc. including preparation of detailed fabrication drawings & submission to the Engineer-in-Charge for approval before start of fabrication, supplying & applying painting with two coats of epoxy paint "EPILUX 155 High Build Enamel over a coat of "EPILUX 610" Primer of M/s BERGER or any other approved equivalent make as per manufacturer’s recommendation, complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting of existing structural steel with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of Red Oxide Zinc Phosphate primer of required shade on old work to give an even shade including scrapping the surface thoroughly, sand papering/ sand blasting, surface preparation, scaffolding etc. inclusive of all materials, labour etc. complete as per manufacturer's specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade :Old work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 sqm) over existing cement paint surface.Work includes Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Dismantling existing roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc., and stacking the material within 50 metres lead.

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-25 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying ,the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing , including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Cement content considered in this item is @ 330 kg/cum. Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately).All works upto plinth level

Providing 15 mm thick plaster to internal & external walls at all heights/depths with cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement :6 fine sand) finished smooth/rough including raking out joints, rounding off and chamfering corners, making drip course moulding, roughening of brick surface, curing for etc. complete as per specifications.

Providing 6 mm cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) with cement mortar to soffits of slab, sides of beams, columns faces and all exposed concrete surfaces at all heights roughening of concrete surfaceincluding rounding off and chamfering corners, curing etc. complete as per specifications.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto floor V level.Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more

Re-lettering with black Japan paint of approved brand and manufacture.(Unit Each means PER LETTER PER CM HEIGHT)

Hire and running charges of Mobile crane capacity (10 to 12 tonne) including cost of operator & Helper and cost of diesel, oil, lube etc.( Unit 1 Day means = 8 hours of running of 1 nos. of Crane)

Brick work with common burnt clay machine moulded perforated bricks of class designation 12.5 conforming to IS:2222 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor five level in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) :With Modular bricks

Providing and fixing fully glazed single/double leaf doors (one side or both side opening)made of powder coated (70 microns) Ivory / White / Coloured (approved shade) with 5.5 mm thick plain glass (best Indian make ) fitted and fixed with box type 101.6 x 44.45 x3.18 mm Aluminium frame (JINDAL/ HINDALCO/AJIT INDIA) with snap beading and glazing clips, anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS-1868, neoprene cushion, top pivot, locking arrangement hand rail, all accessories etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site Engineer. NOTE : Aluminium doors provided for toilet shall consist of single layer of 5.5 mm thick frosted glass in place of transparant or coloured glass, for which no extra payment shall be made.

Providing and fixing fully glazed window made of powder coated (70 microns) Ivory / White / Coloured (approved shade) standard Aluminium section of JINDAL/ INDALCO/ AJIT INDIA/ HINDALCO or equivalent approved make fixed with necessary galvanised iron lugs embedded in cement concrete block of size 15x10x10cms in 1:2:4 mix or with rawl plug and screws or nuts and bolts as required including providing and fixing 5 mm thick smoke glass panes fitted with rubber gasket, glazing clips, neoprene cushion, aluminium handles, special locking arrangements, guides, all round weather strips etc. complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site Engineer.
