PROVN OF EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE IN TECHNICAL AREA AND PROVN OF LT CABLE AND ASSOCIATED WORKS FOR CENTRALLY OPERATED BOOM BARRIERS AT ATC AFS BAREILLY UNDER GE (AF) BAREILLY

M&L for chemical earthing with copper earth plate electrode 900 mm x 600 mm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 3.00 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including copper strip of 32 mm x 6 mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers or brazing etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade 40 mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in Electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I (2009) and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 in chamber, 50mm thick precast RCC cover in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4 Kg/ Sqm with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15 mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt (150 Kgs), coal dust (100 Kgs) & magnesium sulphate (150 Kgs) including refilling of earth pit with soil and removal of surplus soil upto 50 mtrs complete as as specified. Note: The earth resistance value should be less than 1 Ohm failing which the earthing work will be re-done by the contractor without any extra cost.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing with copper strip of size 32 mm X 6 mm all as specifed.

S&F for 40 mm bore steel tubing, medium grade, galvanized with and including all GI fittings, laid in trenches/ surface/ under floor or fixed to wall all as specified.

S&F for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75 mm x 75 mm x 25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos. 8 mm dia 25 mm long hex head screws for holding the bronze plate including fastening / bolting the roof down conductor and earth electrode over the bronze plate with copper bolts & nuts of suitable size and providing 10 mm thick fibre sheet of size 15 cm x15 cm below the test point to avoid direct contact with wall including enclosing the test point with 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet front openable box duly painted complete all as directed.

S&F for flexible copper cable of size 70 Sqmm 1 core all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of cement concrete earth pit chamber in cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-1 of size 450 mm X 450 mm with 50 mm thick Precast RCC cover in cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-1 duly reinforced with 8 mm dia mild steel TMT bars @ 100 mm both ways center to center with suitable lifting handle made of 10 mm dia mild steel round bar to lift the cover with and including necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil all as specified.

M&L for sub main wiring for circuit/ submain wiring along with 2 X 4 Sqmm plus 1 X 4 Sqmm earth wire FRLS / HFFR PVC insulated copper conductor, single core cable in surface / recessed medium class PVC conduit of size not less than 20mm bore with all conduit accessories medium grade ISI marked all as specified. Note : Two run of main copper wire and one run of earth copper wire with one run of steel conduit will be measured and paid as one length.

S&F for sheet steel enclosure 4 way, single door, single pole and neutral MCB distribution board, 240 volt fixed on surface/ recess with tinned copper bus bar, neutral bus bar, earth bar, din bar, inter connections, powder painted including earthing etc complete all as specified. (Note: DB shall be without MCB/RCCB/Isolator)

S&F for MCB 5 Amp to 32 Amp, single pole rating, 240 / 415 V, 10 KA, "C" curve suitable for inductive load in the existing MCB DB with connections, testing etc all as specified.

S&F for 40 Amp rating, double pole, 240 volt Isolator in the existing MCB DB with connections, testing etc all as specified.
